Wonderful dress boot but also looks great with skinny jeans. I'm 60 years old with Morton's Neuroma (nerve damage) on the left foot, and after a tear, only a partial ACL on the right knee, and yet I can wear these boots! I don't think I'd go walking the distance in them; I know my limits, but I wore them inside at work for most of the day when I got them and they were absolutely fine. I usually can't wear any heel at all. I wanted a dress boot to wear this winter to go with dresses and long skirts and decided to pay the price, based on reviews of La Canadienne. I tried on many boots in the stores in the $125-$150 range and couldn't wear them, and/or, they just didn't look good. The quality of these boots are fantastic. One thing. I wore them first with socks (I was wearing a pair of low heel cowboy boots at the time) and could sense that despite the softness of the suede, it was going to pinch my foot across the widest part of it and exacerbate the neuroma. (I had no problem at all on my good foot; the left foot is super sensitive to pressure.) Then I got the brilliant idea of switching to a pair of stocking knee highs that I keep in my desk drawer. Problem solved, no pinching; plenty of room inside the boot. Thinner tights will work as well. I wear a size 9 and was considering exchanging for a 9.5 but all I needed was a thinner stocking and the 9 was perfect. I have 15" muscular calves and these zip up no problem. I can even put skinny jeans inside the boots without a problem, so there is give. The boots don't appear to slouch which makes them look very sleek and chic with dresses. Now to order a flatter heeled, over the knee suede boots for those other skirts that need brown...I want a dressy boot that I can walk miles in too, smile.

This is one of the best boots - great for walking and on your feet. I live in NYC and the streets are not good for walking, unless you have a boot that has comfort and lots of support. This boot has a platform and rubber soles. I have tried the best boots, Chanel, Jimmy Choo and the rest of the top designers. This is the best for WALKING AND COMFORT, and plus it is stylish. Love these boots. Comfortable, get compliments every time I wear them. I have the black and the charcoal. They fit into skinny jeans, don't try regular jeans, as it will stretch the boot. These boots are A+. They make me walk so nice and they are a sturdy boot.

Love this boot! I have problems with a bunion on my right foot and these have proven to work great, very comfortable. They are made so well and are smashing! Very,very nice boot and worth the money!

These boots are very comfortable with a great lining and a heel that is stylish but easy to walk in. The first weekend I had these I wore them to New York and walked all over the city.

I'm 5'3 and it's really hard to get the perfect knee high length boots because my legs are kind of on a shorter side. Anyway, these boots hit my legs at the right place. I've tried many other knee high length boots and they just looked really funny on me. Excellent quality...worth every penny. I also had foot surgery 6 months ago and these are super comfortable. I plan to buy more La Canadienne shoes in the future!

They fit me like a pair of gloves. So comfy, no break in needed. They are my first pair of La Canadienne. I will definitely try their other styles in future.

I am not exaggerating when I say these are the perfect boots. You will not find another pair that are warm, waterproof and stylish. Others have said it many times but it's true: they are worth every penny. They look great with skirts and jeans. They are crazy comfortable. My only problem is keeping myself from wearing them every day. You will not regret spending the money on these.

I love these boots! They are really stylish and are extremely comfortable. My calves measure 14 inch around and these boots fit perfectly! The toe is slightly pointed for a great look, but doesn't squish your toes. There is some cushion on the sole due to a 1/2 inch platform. This is nice so that you don't feel every rock you step on. The two buttons on the side are gunmetal in color so you have flexibility in wearing gold or silver accessories! Well worth the money!

Super comfortable, fits my narrow calf quite well, just a little room. Warm, stable, comfortable right out of the box. And waterproof! My new go to boots. I am pretty picky, always looking for a combination of sophisticated style and comfort and utility and these fit the bill. The only improvement would be a lug sole as they are not too good on slippery surfaces.

Just wore my boots for the first time today, and it's raining. No problemo, since they are waterproof. The boots are very comfortable (cushy and good heel length) and they look elegant. They are perfect for work!

This boot is nothing short of beautiful. The grey suede is perfect and a nice change from the usual black. The boot is comfortable and seems like it will be warmer than any other dress boot I have owned. I am looking for excuses to put them on--even if it is just to walk around the house. I love them.

These boots are frustrating! They are gorgeous, and I so wanted to love them. Glowing reviews are all I read, but I found them to run small and had some color transfer onto my hands while trying them on. The narrow shape of the toe area made it difficult to get a good fit. I usually wear a 7½ in heels and an 8 in most other shoes. I originally tried on the size 8 (at a store), but the toe area felt oddly snug. There seemed to be enough room in the length, but the toe area was so narrow that the front of my foot did not fit into much of it, leaving my foot scrunched but the toe box hollow. Just a strange fit in boots without a very pointy toe. I have a somewhat narrow foot and slim but athletic calves, and I also found that the boot shaft was snug, although I could fit skinny jeans inside. When I tried on the boots with a dress, they slouched a little more than expected. I did like the height of the shaft, which was a couple of inches below my knees (I am petite) but was flattering. While I love how warm these will keep my feet outside, I wonder if they will be too toasty indoors. Finally, while they are certainly comfortable enough for three inch heeled boots, I do not think that I will be walking miles in them. I guess I just expected to be blown away by these boots. The reviews and cost led to some high expectations. I am betting that they will be very useful for a long time, and after trying on the size 8½ from Zappos, which are slightly too big but more comfortable, I am going to keep them, because they are attractive and versatile, and the waterproof aspect is great. These are keepers, if you can justify the price and find the right fit.

I love these boots. Not only are they classic but they fit like a glove. I usually wear an 8 but exchanged these for a 7.5, which fits perfectly. I have rather large calves and am 5'2 so I was worried about the fit but they stop just below my knee and I have no issues with the calf circumference. More money than I would usually spend on boots but the quality is fantastic so I expect them to last a long time.

I bought them for my girlfriend. She absolutely loves them. Size was perfect and I must say she looks incredible with them on.

These are so comfortable and warm. They are also completely waterproof. They are the only cold weather shoes you will ever need. You can dress them up or down. I walked all around London in them, n the no cold and rain, comfortably.

Comfortable, sexy (two words that usually don't go together!) and stylish boots! If you have even slightly large calves, these may be a little tight.
