Very Comfortable shoe with good leather soles & rubber so you do not slip on wet pavements. Good quality shoe that runs a little narrow in the toe area but stretches out within 3-4 wears. Great shoe to wear with pants or dresses.

These are great ballet flats. I bought the metallic pewter color at a local store, and then bought the black leather from Zappos. The two best things about them is that the elastic all the way around the top edge. My other flats do not give at the upper edge and so often cut into the top of my foot and the Air support. I can really wear them all day in comfort. They are expensive, as Cole Haan always is, but since they are my go to shoes, I will get my money's worth.

I've had mine about a year and they are holding up nicely (black patent). However, they run small. I am usually a 7.5 and bought these in an 8.5. I've put a gel arch support in them, as well as gel heel guards as the first time I wore them I got very bad blisters. They are fine with the gel pads.

I wear these at work almost everyday. I've had them for a year and they still look great and are very comfortable. They go with anything.

Wow. Comfort indeed! I bought this shoe for my daughter who wears a size 4.5 and the 5 Air Bacara fits very well in length and width. There is no support, obviously, but the foot is cushioned and she wears the shoe all day with no discomfort. And it looks fabulous on her foot.

These shoes are well-made with delightful subtle details (the trim, the bow in the back). I like that they can be dressed up or down. I also like that they have a substantial sole, making them feel less flimsy than other flats I've had. The one thing is that the shows are a bit narrow for my wide feet, but I am hoping to break them in.

I bought the Air Bacara in yellow serpentine in a size 5 for my daughter who is a size 4.5 in most shoes. I was surprised after reading all the reviews that she still found the shoe could be a little smaller. Her foot is medium width but she has a high instep, which wouldn't affect the fit of this particular shoe. So I guess I would have to say that this shoe is the smaller side of a true fit and generous in width and if in some doubt, to order a half size larger. There is some bounce to the shoe because of the Air Nike technology but it's still a very flat flat with no support.

I love these shoes! First, Cole Haan is great quality. Second, I need a classic ballet flat where the toe isn't too round, the decoration isn't too froofy and the fit is great. These were perfect. I saw these on a friend, which gave me the confidence to order them, because I don't usually like the type of flats that have an elastic edge and look more like you are wearing slippers. The hard sole and good fit prevents that look. Another quality I look for is a shoe that can be resoled, because I'm going to wear a cute flat like this to death, and want to keep restoring them. A lot of the little ballet flats have soft soles that can't be resoled, but these can. Highly recommend! I'm usually an 8.5 but could tell when they arrived that while the 8.5 fit perfectly, I needed more of a glove-like fit because the leather and the elastic would stretch. Going back and ordering the 8 was worth it. Perfect fit.

Super cute, comfy and well made! They did cut into my tendon a little but after a few wears they have settled a bit, the lacing in the back is just a little something to take the bore out of flats. If I were to order again, I would get a half size bigger due to the rounded toe, my big toe is a little smooshed but a great comfy shoe!

I love these shoes! Comfortable and beautiful. I buy them snug but not tight and within a couple of days, they fit perfectly. Just the right amount of stretch in a good leather.

These are great. I don't buy Cole Haan after a bad experience with Cole Haan Nike Air but took a chance on these because of the reviews and look. With Zappos there is not really any risk anyway. Glad I tried them. They are very comfortable right at the get go! They also look great with the lacing up the back. Love them! I felt they were true to size. I normally wear an 8 to 8.5 and bought the 8.

These are my new favorites. I love them! The first time I wore them, they did rub my heel and hurt, so I then waited a couple of days for the raw spot to heal and have been problem and pain free since. They are soft, flexible, and just really comfortable. They feel almost like dance shoes but with more protection. I wear them everywhere every single day. They look great with skinny jeans or cargos, and I can imagine that they'd look nice with capris or shorts too. I will be visiting NY in a few weeks and will be using them there as well. The leather is also nice quality. I got the black and and it looks very nice. I've also been happy with the wear thus far. Now I need to get them in more colors! As others have said, if you are between sizes, you should go up because they run a bit small.

Loved this shoe, but it runs more than a half size small. Buttery soft, cute in the back, flexible, with even a little bit of support and padding from feeling the ground. Based on previous reviews, I'd ordered a half size larger than usual, but am returning to try a full size up.

Best shoe I have ever worn (and I stand on my feet all day long! and I have very high arches). I also own these in silver metallic. I feel that the investment is worth it!

I have been looking for a pair of nude flats for quite some time, and I am extremely happy with these shoes! The 1st time I wore them I did get a small blister in the back, but I wore them all day today (my 2nd time wearing them) and they were perfect! They are extremely comfortable for a lot of walking, and I love the detailing on the back!

These are very cute flats and they are very comfy. I ordered true to size and they fit well. They are suede and they last and look great with jeans. The blue is not too bright, but it is colorful.

Love these shoes. So comfortable and cute. I am a 10, but in Cole Haan I usually take a 10 1/2. When I got the 10 1/2 while it didn't feel uncomfortable, it did feel snug, so I tried the 11. It was too big and wouldn't stay on my foot, so I kept the 10 1/2. I don't know if they stretched a little, but they are and have been comfortable from the start. The leather is very soft and doesn't rub my feet even after a long day.

I've been seeking ballet flats for a long time. I can see why other reviewers mention that the back can dig into your heels--if I got my usual size of 8, I think I'd be singing a different tune. My foot's a bit wide, so it's necessary to go up a half size on flats and I'm really glad that I did. If I lift my foot, then I have about a half inch of space at the toe, but when I walk on it, my big toe can hit the tip of the box. The box is very roomy, if you're looking for flats that are "soft foot hugging types", then this flat probably isn't for you. Though the leather is soft, it feels more like a loosely wrapped slipper that stays on your foot more than anything else. These flats don't annoy my pinky toes like others do, don't dig into my heels to the point of excruciating blisters, and don't hurt my big toe's joint like the other flats that I've tried. It's soft, supportive, supple yet not constricting. I can also see what other reviewers say about this flat not being as breathable, I think if you are prone to sweaty feet, this might cause you problems. I'm definitely getting other colors now!

Great ballet flat! I love this shoe and have received several compliments on how cute the shoe is (which is hard to do since I wear a size 12)! The shoe doesn't cut into the back of my foot and I didn't have to break in the shoe. I'm considering getting another pair in a different color.

These are very comfortable and cute. But I did find them true to size after ordering a size up as recommended I had to order down half a size. Great soles for a flat!

I, too, bought a half size up, 10.5, and they fit like a supportive slipper. They are so comfortable that I don't want to take them off. I bought and returned about 6 different flats from Zappos until I came across these. I am so pleased I was able to get my size and that they look so cute, too. Very elegant for a flexible ballet flat. Love these!

These flats are fabulous! I was surprised at just how comfortable these flats really are! They are the perfect nude shade and so comfy. I am between a 10 - 10.5 and I generally always go up to 10.5 in Cole Haan. Once again, the 10.5 was right on. The little tassles do make some noise when I'm walking, but it's not loud enough to really irritate me.
