This shoe arrived overnight! I have plantar fasciitis and have had foot pain for several months. I put on the shoes when they arrived and first thing this morning. My feet haven't felt this good in months. I also have several pair of chaco sandals. Be sure you adjust the straps for comfort.

I needed new dress shoes because my Danskos were causing knee/hip pain. I love my Chaco sandals and decided to try the PedShed. The fit is a little odd because my foot is not at the back of the shoe in order to have the support in the right place, but tightening the strap keeps them perfectly in place. The support is very similar to ZX/2 Yampa Wide. The shoe is extremely comfortable and no more pain! Plus now I get to sport my Chacos at work!

These shoes are very well made. My feet never hurt when I wear them,and I now own two pair. My husband and son bought them from the mans line and couldn't agree more on how great your feet feel all day. Love, love, love them! I am the proud owner of 5 pair of Chacos!

This shoe did not fit my foot right and squeaked on the right shoe badly. The heel seemed extra large also. I only hope Zappos doesn't get tired of my trying to find the right shoe. Love Chaco sandals and will order more of them.

I really like these shoes. The first pair I bought too large, since I used the size chart and measured. Later I found the Zappos size chart is inconsistent with the Chaco website size chart. Recommend you not try to measure your foot and just use the conversion. The 9 was true to size, although it still felt a tad large. I stuck with them, as I think they are intended to have ample space along with the strap. I have plantar fasciitis, and the arches feel good, although they are very different from the Dansko's. I haven't yet decided which I like best.

I absolutely love these shoes. I wear my Chaco sandals all summer and was pleased to try these shoes. I was a bit skeptical at first because some had commented on the shoe size was a bit small in their regular size. My toe did touch the end, but I wore them in the house to make sure I liked them. Any leather shoe does stretch and I felt that this would happen. I kept them and am so pleased that I did. I love them! I love the adjustable strap to snug up if you're wearing a light or heavy sock. I'm going to have my elderly mother try a pair!

These shoes are great if you have foot problems. Very comfortable, flexible footbed, excellent support, soft leather that gives and forms to your foot. They are streamlined, yet your toes have room to move around. Great walking shoe that is surprisingly stylish.

With plantar fasciitis, I am very limited on what I can wear, so I was thrilled to find out that Chaco makes shoes. I've worn the Chaco sandals all summer - they are the only sandal that don't make my feet hurt. Since it snows here, I was trying to figure out a way to get my Chaco sandals into a snowboot - now I don't have to! The shoes are just as comfortable as the sandals, but they do take a little break-in on the arch-side because of the welt. A couple days around the house, and I'm ready for winter.

I'm very happy with this shoe! No break-in time needed, they are comfy right out of the box. I normally wear a size 10.5 shoe, but have to wear size 11 in the chaco sandals (they only come in whole sizes). The 10.5 pedshed fits perfectly.

I really liked the clunky look since I were business casual and the arch was excellent for my high arches. But I have a long skinny foot and though I loved the extra space in the toe it slipped on my heel. I am so disappointed to send them back.

These shoes have the best arch support I've ever experienced in a shoe. They even beat Dansko in my book. With these, I feel more grounded since they don't have a platform sole like Dansko shoes.

Great shoes! I have terrible arches and they make my back hurt less than my orthotics when I'm standing up all day long.

I love these shoes. Keep in mind, they have a very high arch, slightly higher than my Chaco sandals. I really needed that because of an injury but others may find it a bit too much. These shoes are great to wear in the mud because it wipes right off, but I can also wear it to my casual dress work. They are roomy and that took a bit to get used to, but after a bit of wearing, I don't even notice it anymore. When my feet or ankles hurt, these are my go-to shoes. Mind you, they are not style-y, but you can clearly decide from the picture whether they would work for you. I usually wear a 9 or 9.5 and the 9 worked well for me, 9.5 would have been way too big, hope that helps if you are often between sizes. Oh, and Zappos delivery and policies are wonderful!

I absolutely love this shoe! I have been wearing Chaco sandals for many years, and am so glad to have a shoe!

I got these after I broke my ankle and had tendon repair surgery. I wore them all over Egypt. So comfortable, the color is neutral (the mushroomy color) and not horrible looking. Love. No more Danskos for me.

I have Plantar Fasciitis and search high and low for shoes with great arch support. These shoes are the best! I can wear them all day!

Amazingly comfortable shoes. The arch support in these is so well executed that it feels like a custom orthotic. The stripy strappy things are a bit...unfortunate, stylistically, but worn with adequately long pants, these look fine.

I was very pleased with my purchase of Chaco PedShed. Being a size 11 I find it difficult to find my size in most shoes. Not only were these shoes available in my size but they are extremely comfortable. I am a hairdresser and am on my feet most of the day. These shoes are the most comfortable I have ever worn and I have tried many.

I have found these shoes to be very comfortable indeed! If you love your summer Chaco sandals, these are just like them, but warmer for the cold weather. They are very well made, excellent arch support and the strap makes them snug. Really like this pair of shoes! I did need an 8 1/2 in these, whereas I take an 8 in the sandals.

Chaco Lovers Rejoice! Here is the wonderful Chaco foot bed we have come to love in a closed shoe! Chaco has for many years been my preferred choice of foot wear, whether on safari in Africa or with socks in the snow! This is the same foot bed providing wonderful arch support and the same size I wear in sandals fits perfectly in the PedShed! Thanks Chaco!

I bought and wore out my first pay of Chaco's as a Peace Corps volunteer serving in Uganda - they were the best pair of shoes I had brought with me and lasted my whole service before the straps broke. I walked miles every day, climbed hilly, mountainous terrain and my feet never hurt because of the shoes I was wearing. So I was delighted upon my return home to find a closed toe/heel dress shoe. As a nurse, I do a lot of walking and I'm on my feet 12+ hrs in any given day and by the end of the day it's not my feet that are killing me, unlike other shoes. These are great shoes, and I highly recommend the sandals! They will last for years, so they are worth the investment, and best of all, when you wear them out you can send the soles back in for recycling, or if you have the sandals, buy new straps. You won't be disappointed, I promise!

If you live in your Chacos in summer, here is the winter version. I had to buy a whole size bigger to fit socks and long toes. These shoes rock.

I love them! I wanted casual shoes that I could walk forever in, and these are perfect for that. My feet never get sore. I bought a half size larger than my sandals (still a full size smaller than I usually wear) and they felt tight at first, but the leather is really soft, so it stretches some. Note that there is no insole and it's the same foot bed that you would find on the sandals. This isn't a problem at all, since I wear socks with them.

Love this shoe! Once you get it on and adjust the strap it feels like butter. You really will think you have your house shoes on. They look really nice with pants. I usually wear a 7 to 8 and the 7 fits just right. I have plantar fascia, and these do not cause me any pain.

I have plantar faciatis and these shoes are great. They support my arches so my feet don't hurt so much.
