Love, love, love these boots! I normally wear anything from an 8.5-9.5 and I ordered a 9.5, they are a bit roomy in the toe but not too big, just right with thick socks. These boots are totally worth the money. they look super cute over top of jeans on those cold snowy days but they are also slim enough to fit under a pair of flared jeans. I have searched for winter boots for over a year now, and it was well worth the wait. I have never been a fan of Timberlands in the past, they were never really my style but after buying these boots I am hooked! I will definitely look into buying another pair of Timberlands, already have my eye on a pair of suede boots!

I really wish these boots had worked. They're light, waterproof, have an aggressive tread but are way too narrow. I have a c-width foot, but these just compressed my forefoot too much.

These shoes are fashionable and functional. They come up to mid-calf and have a lovely thermal layer inside. I think it's this layer that makes them run slightly small, though really not that small. It feels a bit snug when you first put them on, but it's more like snug around your foot as opposed to the length actually being too short. I definitely suggest ordering up a half size like Zappos says. I am usually a 9, and ordered both the 9.5 and the 10. Honestly, I could get away with either, but the 10 was just too big in the heel. I am returning that pair and keeping the 9.5, which fit perfectly even with relatively thick socks. However, the thermal layer keeps my feet so toasty I actually prefer thinner socks so far. Definitely a must have for the winter months!

I'm always afraid to buy footwear of any kind without trying them on first. But, after reading all the reviews I bought a size larger of these boots and they fit perfect. Very comfortable, can't wait to test them in the snow. Would recommend.

This winter it has been below freezing every night so far! And though the days get warm enough by midday to wear a lighter shoe... as soon as the sun sets- it's almost freezing again- unusual for where I live. But so glad to have these Timberland Earthkeeper boots. I've been wearing them all day too! So well insulated and so evenly cozy warm and comfortable! Everyday I hear myself saying to someone or just out loud to my myself or to my dog or cat, how much I love these boots! (I even wear them inside as slippers because they keep my feet warmer than my slippers and our floor has been getting cold at night with these continual low temps!). Thank you Timberland! Impressive boot!

What a boot. I took them on a work trip that would have me outside on rainy, cooler days, and, at a muddy, wet ranch. Not only did they keep my feet warm and dry all day, but they were super comfortable, too. So much so, I wore them the next day - even though there was no rain in the forecast. A great boot I hope will serve me well for years to come.

A great boot that can handle any type of adverse weather conditions. My only complaint is that while the are generally very comfortable, they do rub the back of my ankle a bit. Other than that, they are great in rain or snow!

I used the measuring tool online to order the size and they were perfect. They are very warm and comfortable.

This shoes saved my feet in this unexpected NY winter is was money well spent. I have been wearing them since December 2010.

I love these boots! Exactly what I was looking for. They keep my toes toasty warm and dry. I can stomp through the snow and puddles and not slip when I walk into stores. The only problem is something rubs against the back of my heel.

These are terrific boots; my feet are always, always freezing, so I put these on right out of the box (switched out of another pair of boots), and my feet were warm within one minute. They look terrific too, and are super comfortable; I've worn them all day for the past two days.

Awesome boot for cold, snow, rain. I can't vouch for ice-worthiness yet. Do order a half size larger than your normal shoe size. I am usually a 6½ or 7, and I followed other reviewers advice and got a 7½ -- fits perfectly. Walked around in snow half-way up to my knees and boots proved snowproof and waterproof. For walking in much more than a foot of snow, you might consider a taller boot than these - they fall just above mid-calf on me. Otherwise, you couldn't ask for more out of a winter boot.

These boots are wonderful! I went with a half size bigger to allow for thick winter socks. They fit great and are not too big with regular socks on. Super warm, but comfortable to wear indoors as well. I usually expect good winter boots to be heavy and bulky; these are neither.

Love this boot! This was my first pair of Timberlands and was not disappointed. I normally wear a size 7, but purchased size 7.5, and they feel great! I wore them for the first time this past weekend, and they definitely kept my feet warm & toasty while at Niagara Falls (Canadian side). They are so cute and are comfy.

These are awesome. Warm, waterproof, slip resistant, and made out of recycled materials. I stepped into an ankle-deep puddle and my foot was still bone dry. When I walked into a grocery store from the slush outside, these boots had a firm grip on the linoleum even though they were still wet. They also got here a day early. I got these as an exchange for boots that didn't work out. Zappos made the whole thing very easy. The toe feels a little big, but not uncomfortably so. I definitely recommend these cool-looking boots!

I love Zappos! These boots are definitely smaller than the size stated. I will have to return them for a larger pair.

These boots are amazing! I'm prone to always having cold feet because of my bad circulation and I've yet felt frosty. They do run a little small, so I would order at least a half size up for your big winter socks. I'm so glad I got these!

I love these shoes. They are comfortable to walk in which is not true of all these kinds of boots for wet weather. Definitely order a half-size larger than you normally would. I also got these the next day-awesome customer service from Zappos. I agree with their Stella service rating.

These arrived superfast and fit well. The inside is cozy and warm and the outside is waterproof. I wore them immediately to watch a rainy, all-day cross country meet and the following week wore them in the snow, and my feet were warm and dry. They look a little bit like snowboarding boots, they are a bit bulky, so they are not ideal for work, but I didn't really buy them for work! Based on recommendations, I ordered a half-size up and they fit perfectly.

First of all, I chose to free (four day?) shipping; however, Zappos sent my order days early. I order these boots on Saturday and received them two days later today on Monday. Amazing? Yes. These boots are also perfect; I needed something more durable than an Ugg boot, and also something that was waterproof/snow proof. More importantly I needed a good boot to walk to and from classes in, something that would not be too heavy, something to battle the Midwest snow and the slippery sidewalks on campus. This boot is EVERYTHING I was looking for. They are not heavy at all and can easily walk all day in them and my feet stay warm and dry all day. I also normally wear a size 9, but ordered a 9½ as recommended by Zappos. The 9½ looks a little big on, but fits perfectly with normal socks and with thick socks.

First of all, it wasn't even a full 24 hours from the time I ordered to the time they arrived at my house. Love Zappos. Yes, these boots are amazing. Well made, snug, warm fit and easy to get in and out of despite being tall lace ups. They come to about mid calf on me. They look pretty sleek too. I was wearing thin socks and normally wear an 8. I ordered the 9 and it looked like it might be too big until I tried it on. Perfect snug fit! I couldn't believe it. Definitely go up a whole size. The last pair of Timberlands I had lasted for 8 years before they were stolen. I expect the same of these boots. Excellent product from a responsible and reliable company. Love Timberland and Zappos.

Nice, comfy boots! I like the color (a nice alternative to the dark, clunky boots I've had in the past). I did have to return the original pair (ordered half size bigger) and go with another half size bigger, as they were still tight. I would recommend if you have wide feet to go up a whole size (I went from 8 1/2 to 9 1/2). I wish there was a padding on the tongue, otherwise overall happy with these.

Too small! I loved the look of these boots, but they were extremely tight. I wear a size 8, and it was at least a half size too small. Suggest ordering a half size up to make sure they fit! Love Zappos' service!

Cute, comfy, and functional. Tall enough to protect from deep snow but not too tall to be uncomfortable. Pretty warm, my toes tend to be cold in all shoes in winter weather so I may not be the best judge.
