My fourteenth month old son has a very wide and chubby foot; it is almost as high as it is wide. So I had a tough time finding a shoe that fit - and thought 2XW would fit, but I couldn't even get his foot in with all the laces loosened. After 12 shoes I finally found the DC Kids Court Graffik V2 in a 5W fit. So if your son has a VERRY chubby foot, I would try there.

I purchased these shoes in a smaller size for my son last year, and they held up so incredibly well that I purchased them again this year. I love the classic, old-man design, but I especially love that they can be polished up like new. Worth the expense.

Very well-made and comfortable shoe. Soft, supportive footbed and flexible sole. And crazy cute! My son gets compliments every time he wears them.

Awesome shoe! Bought these for my 10 month old son and I m glad I did. This shoe seems to fit him comfortably and looks great with his jeans. I love that I didn't have to settle for the boring white walking shoe. This shoe is stylish yet still offers the same performance of the traditional walking shoe.

Shoes are too cute! Great quality. The toes of them scuffed pretty significantly on the first wearing (my son climbed all over the sidewalk so the concrete scuffed them up) but the scuffs barely show despite how bad they looked as he was doing it!

These shoes are flexible, well-made and just right for my 19-month-old son who is now walking allover the place. They provide lots of support but the sole is flexible to make walking easier for beginners.

Love these. Made good use of them. My son was very comfy in them and they are so cute and stylish with so many outfits. A great alternative to the traditional white versions...these were very boy style friendly! My son took his first steps in these! I attribute it to the good support at the ankles!

I love Stride Rite shoes. These are no exception. Flexible sole, stable walking surface, excellent quality leather is a perfect early walker shoe. I was worried about the white, but it wipes clean time and time again. Our little guy has worn them out playing in the muddy back yard, wiped clean and ready for dressier occasions. I love Stride Rite and only buy stride rite for both my boys. Always good quality, durable and reasonably priced is the best part.

I purchased these shoes for my one year old grandson and they are perfect. He has a couple Zappos pairs of shoes that are also great but they close with Velcro and he is so gifted that he is always taking them off. Sometimes you just want a pair of shoes that stay on, especially in the winter in Minnesota.

Adorable, classic shoes. I bought these as dress shoes for my toddler but they could easily be worn with jeans or more casual pants, too. Easy to get on and the laces are long enough to double-knot so that little ones can't untie them.

one word. AMAZING. very comfortable & great for walking. very true to size. size up a 1/2 if you want more room for warm cozy, thicker socks.

My 2 year old son looks absolutely handsome and stylish with his shoes. I received tons of compliments from family members as I had him wear this for his recent birthday celebration. He didn't seem to complain while he was running around with his cousins and other children at the party.

These are all I put on my 1 year old. High quality shoes for learning to walk. Style wise I wish this version had the stitching on the toe like the size 4 but still love them. Classic cute shoes.

These shoes may be marked 2xw but if your child has a little pad of chubs on the top of their foot good luck....could not get my son's foot in the shoe. He is 11 months old and wears striderite size 4.5 purchased these in 4.5 xxw and had to send back.

Love these traditional white leather baby shoes. Beautiful soft leather, perfect first walking shoes with all the support and flexibility a baby needs.

The shoes were exactly what i wanted and needed. They are working very well.

When I put the shoes on my baby, he started wanting to walk immediately. Yesterday was the longest he’s practiced walking. I feel he will be walking on his own in no time.
