I bought one of the earlier split rollers in 2006. After 5 years of heavy use the main zipper broke. It took one email to Dakine and they replaced it with a brand new bag. This one is even better than the one I had. Great customer service. When they say lifetime warranty they mean it. Thanks.

My wife and I bought matching DaKine bags for our 3 week trip to Europe. The functionality, durability and compartment design made our trip so much easier. We loved the locking zipper loops and put mini pad locks on all our zippers while using the Euro rail. Last minute items were stowed in the exterior bags. The durable wheels made the 60 pounds that I was carrying more bearable. The straps were made right because I was lugging both bags up and down stairs on a regular basis (no elevators in the metro). Our bags will now be used for snowboarding trips because they can hold our clothes and ski wear.

I am amazed that none of these reviews mentions the size of this bag. It is too big for most airlines, and you will get charged a hefty fee. Dakine needs to re-design this bag and make it about 2" smaller. That way airlines will not charge their fee for bags of this size. Also, because the bag is so big, it is easy to pack it with more than 50 pounds worth of stuff, which is yet another fee.

Got this bag as a gift for my boyfriend for his birthday. He loved it. It has many great compartments and seems to be very sturdy. Fabric is much more durable than expected. Very satisfied with this bag. He liked it so much he had me order other matching bags to go with it. Great service from Zappos too!

Much bigger than we anticipated, but has great storage compartments on the inside of the bag. Perfect for traveling if you tend to overpack. Overall, we love the bag.

This suitcase is awesome. We travel all over the world and it is the best layout I've ever seen. All of the handles make it easy to move around. It needs a few more trips to see how well it holds up but so far it is the best suitcase I've ever purchased.

This bag is great for anybody, but if you like organization, it's a must have. There are so many pockets and mesh zippers to separate the different areas that you can keep everything nice and orderly. The styling is great as well, and comes in many different designs. The only thing I wasn't sure about before I bought the bag was whether I should get the large or the small of the split roller bags. The large roller is the second largest of the three split roller bags, but it is a pretty big bag. I bought the split roller small, as well, after I bought this one, because a three or four day trip - it is actually a little too big. I always overpack anyway, and it still felt a little big. If it came down to getting one or the other, I would suggest the small, because it's probably a better size for average length trips. Overall, I love the bag and it's pretty fantastic. I would recommend it to anyone - but make sure you know what size you want before you get it.

I have used this bag twice now on month long trips over to Europe and, wow, is it awesome. It might not look very spacious but it will fit everything, and then some! Really durable, great maneuverability. The separate compartments are really good and overall it's an amazing bag!

This is the best suitcase I have ever owned! I live in a rural area, and travel frequently with work to larger cities, where I do most of my clothes shopping. I can pack so much in this bag without it becoming a strain on my muscles. I highly recommend it!

This roller is sick. Perfect size for week long trips. Spot-on design and details the product information can't cover. Picked up the Black Stripes for 145 US. Highly recommended.

Great bag! Fits so much and love the fact that there are many compartments for organization. This is our second bag (my husband bought one 2 years ago) and it's held up really well. On our most recent trip one of the wheels on the older bag broke and Dakine quickly replaced them - no questions asked.

Good size bag. Light for size but durable. The pattern we bought is noticeable in the luggage carousel. This is our 3rd version of this bag. Only thing that has need for repair is the zipper... Which we will probably send in for repair. Both husband and myself love these bags. After 7 years of use and year round travel for work.

Love my new suitcase. This is the third Dakine suitcase I have bought. I really like all the different compartments, so I can stay organized it's a great color and sturdy. Everyone at the airport always looks at my suitcase because they wish they had it.

This is the perfect bag. I have told 5-7 people to go and buy their own. The bags are light, they fit everything, they are durable and stylish...and dude you cannot forget affordable! I have used mine on at least 35 flights so far...like new.

It's one of the lightest bags with the most space I can find. Perfect for a weekend getaway for two, or a multi week in another country.

This is a great bag. It has everything you need, without all the extra stuff some bags have that you don't. It is best compared with eBags' similar rolling duffel, and this is the superior bag. eBags is good too, but doesn't have enough handles, and has too many exterior pockets which I find useless on checked luggage. I bought this last minute based on reviews and was worried, however from the first moment, and all through the trip this bag excelled.

This is a truly amazing luggage bag! I knew it would be very large, because we also have a 80L Dakine bag. Everything about the luggage is well thought of. The wheels and tote handle, tons of lifting handles on all sides for when you have to pick it up. So much needed room for when you travel. You can fit a lot of your house in here!

This bag is excellent, do not hesitate to buy it! I love that it has two handles on the top of the bag, it makes grabbing the bag from the carrousel so much easier and it makes carrying the bag up stairs so much easier. I love this bag, it holds so much. I have never had problems with the bag being over weight. Stuffed on the inside it comes to about 50 pounds, which is the usual limit for airlines. It is your average large suitcase and is great for flying.

This case is sturdy, with many usable compartments. Plenty of space. It looks great and is easy to spot in baggage claim. While it is very large, it still falls within the size requirements of the airlines and does not require an extra baggage fee.

It's official! Never shopping around again! I ordered this bag at 9:30 pm...last night, and selected "free one business day shipping", and it arrived today at 1:00pm! I leave to Costa Rica in less than a week so the shipping options were extremely appreciated! I have been shopping around for this bag because of the company lifetime warranted that I have heard so much about. It is very lightweight, and the skate wheels are already noticeably much more sturdy than any other bag I have owned. The zippers are also heavy duty. I cannot wait to give it the international test run!! Pura Vida!

I just received this piece of luggage. It smells like pure cigarette smoke. If I was not leaving for my trip in the morning I would return it for a new one. I hope my clothes do not all smell like smoke when I get to my destination. Other than that the luggage is nice.

This suitcase will hold a lot! Many compartments to hold your stuff. Solid build quality! Only downside is that with all the weight restrictions on airlines keep in mind that this suitcase weighs about 9lbs which can be a fair bit of clothing.
