I am a teacher and am on my feet all day long. I also have high arches and without a good shoe my feet would hurt every day. I love Merrell shoes for many reasons. They support my arch, they are a comfortable snug (but never too snug) fit, they cradle my heel in place without putting pressure on it, they are durable (my Merrells which were 3 years old still looked great even though they had worn out) and they just look terrific. I would recommend Merrell clogs to all my friends.

Wow. These are awesome. I will be living in them until next summer! When I received these shoes, I thought that they must be slippers. I even went online to make sure I'd ordered them. They are so warm and comfy. Right out of the box, I could wear them all day and not even realize I had shoes on! I have a bunion and many shoes are too tight across the toes. These are perfect! I will be ordering more very soon!

These are so comfortable, I wear them everyday! I'm going to have to buy them in more colors. Great for anyone who is on their feet all day... I hate to wear shoes, am a barefoot person, but these definitely fit the bill!

Okay, really it's crazy comfy and warm but never too hot. My feet are so sensitive to the slightest discomfort & these totally feel like slippers but with the shoe like support a girl needs. Great arch support and room for orthotics if required. Really absorbs the impact of walking and the shearling fleece lining is so cushy and fabulous!

I have achilles bursitis and when the cooler weather came around I had a very hard time wearing shoes with a back. I got these so my feet would be warm and my achilles untouched. I love the fit, feel and warmth. They fit true to size, but do feel a tad bit on the narrow side. However, I think it is due to the sheepskin lining. A good thing for when they have been worn down all winter. They will still fit and fit well. I have tried on numerous shoes and none have felt as great as these. Worth the money! I'm not crazy about the style. I wear a women's 10 so they don't look that attractive, but I'll sacrifice looks for foot comfort. I have a high arch so the support feels minimal to me, but it is not uncomfortable. I do not have any foot pain or achiness with these shoes. Not too mention, having 3 young children, it's a nice slip on and out the door in the morning! If you're going for comfort, WARMTH, durability, and convenience this is the shoe for you! No fashion statement, but you'll have happy feet.

I bought the Merrell Encore Ice because I was having knee surgery and I needed a warm shoe that would slip on. I also bought the Baffin Nikol for the same reason but I returned them because they didn't compare to these. The Merrell Encore Ice looks better than in the photos and they slide on easily and completely with no help from hands. The fleece lining holds the feet firmly inside and keeps them warm, even without socks and in moderately cold (40 degree) weather, maybe even colder. They felt comfortable immediately with no break in time. They suited my purpose perfectly and I like them so much that I'll still be wearing them even after I'm fully recovered. The arch support is very good. I wear size 11 and these fit perfectly. I like the Merrell brand in general for a comfortable and stable shoe that I can wear all day. This pair was a sound purchase so don't hesitate to buy them in your usual size.

They're back. The Merrell Encore Ice has brought back the shearling lining which can't be beat for warmth. They are comfortable, have arch support, and a little rise in the back that keeps your foot from sliding out.

These cold weather mules are everything I anticipated they would be, and more. They are extremely warm and easy to put on and off. Both of these qualities facilitate my life as a puppy mom! On cold winter mornings, I am able to swiftly accompany my sweet dog when nature beckons. In addition, the sole has an outstanding grip and this serves to prevent any slipping on the ice with a frisky pup!

I wanted something to wear to wear bare foot to yoga in the winter. These are it. They are super cozy, and the heel is chunky enough to keep you out of the puddles but by no means uncomfortably chunky. I have a big foot, so they are quite large looking - by that I mean they aren't a shoe that makes your foot looks small but still. I love them, and they're perfect!

A slice of heaven. I love putting these shoes on - the arch support and the structured fit of the shoe cradles my foot and all of the fluffing makes them feel oh so cozy. I wear them with or without socks because we have already had some warm days in Phoenix. I think they look a little bohemian with jeans but was surprised when someone asked me if I was a doctor or a nurse because I had on clogs. Humph. Most comfortable shoe I've ever had. And, well, I think they're cute.

Very solid, comfortable and warm. Feels snug with lining, but in a good way - and I assume they will stretch out a little. They accommodate wide feet like mine well.

I wear Merrell Encore Ice all winter. Actually 2 pair. Having two artificial hips makes even more careful walking during the ice and snow months here in the Northeast. There is nothing that compares to these Merrell's!

I have worn Merrells for years and love them. They are so, so comfortable and durable. I have a pair that is 7 years old that won't die! However, the finish on this pair has turned dull after only 3 wearings and looks worn out and old already. I'll keep them for knocking around in because they are so warm and comfortable, but don't recommend the smooth finish on the brown color.

Watch out for the dye on the dark shearling. I tried the Encore Ice on with white socks and within a few minutes and the dye transferred to my white socks. Will be returning and exchanging for a pair with the light colored shearling

Zappos has patiently sent me shoes and accepted returns until I finally found the perfect fit and comfort for my old roblematic feet. These Merrell clogs are just perfect! Next to my bed as slippers during the night, warming and comforting my feet by day, all day long, every day! They are so much easier than boots, and just as durable and warm - probably more so due to the furry lining. I am so happy every time I slip my feet not these and you will be too!

I LOVE this shoe! This is my third pair. I hope they never discontinue this style. It's a perfect winter time walker for me. It's great to just slip them on when I walk the dogs knowing that my bare feet will be toasty warm no matter how cold it is outside. It's definitely a must have in my winter wardrobe. I would recommend this shoe without hesitation. I personally don't have a negative comment at all. Trust me, you will not be disappointed. Oh, btw, love you Zappo's! Don't ever change. ????

I had a pair of Merrell Encore Ice shoes that I've worn for year that are still comfortable. I wanted the same basic shoe, but in another color, so I ordered this shoe. It was exactly what I wanted, true to size, and very comfortable. I'd recommend this shoe to anyone who values comfort.

Comfortable and warm right out of the box. I wear with socks, still true to fit. Ordered these in black, have had a brown pair for four years, still look like new. You won't be disappointed!

I have these in four different colors. Ordered three more after my initial order. I wear all year round. They are more comfortable than going barefoot. I own nearly a hundred pair of shoes, and can honestly say I would wear these every day if I could. I have a neuroma, and there are no issues with these shoes. Too bad they don't look good with skirts, otherwise they are heaven.

These are the most comfy shoes. I would love to have them in every color, shape and style available, when I win the lottery.

These are super cozy and comfortable and have great support. I can stand for hours in these. Make sure you buy a half size up because the fleece makes these snug.

I usually wear a size 6, but got these in a 5.5. Even with the fleece they run big. Very comfortable.

These are so comfortable, like having slippers with soles on them. I took them to Italy in February to wear at the end of a long day walking and they were perfect for tired feet. They are not that great looking, (especially by Italian standards) but make up for it in comfort.

I have a black pair and now these. In winter it is my go to shoe. Wonderful feel, warmth, fit and luv arch support.

Truly comfortable fit and can wear them all day without feeling tired. Also nice and warm for outdoor wear. Believe me, you won't want to wear anything else.
