I walk my dog thru fields everyday, and sometimes the grass is soaking wet, I HATE WET SOCKS, so I bought these and true to the advertisement, they are waterproof, NO WET SOCKS for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used to wear a 8M, but after pregnancy I wear an 8 1/2C (slightly wide.) I ordered a 9W. The shoe size on the box is 9W but the shoe says 9 only (customer service called the warehouse.) I wore them around the house with different socks and they fit great, using different tightnesses with the lacing. I tie them loose, to slip on/off without lacing. I have run trails in rain, snow and mud, and they keep my feet dry. Stiff at first, but relaxes a little. One shoe weighs 8 ounces (by my scale), my Asics is 8 ounces and my Timberland leather hiking boot is 1.2 ounces. The brindle color looks great with jeans, pants/shorts (khaki, olive and brown). I wear them everywhere (trails and town) and they look cute, sporty, practical and all-seasons in the NW. Love my shoes - Zappos delivered in one day and has great customer service!!!

These shoes are amazing. They fit like a dream at a full size larger than I usually wear (10). They made a 10K walk along a canal feel like a jaunt to the corner, and despite a light rain, my feet were never cold or wet. They also didn't need any breaking in. I ordered these after being disappointed by a pair of Keens and now I'm Merrell for life. Seriously. These shoes are amazing. If you're worried about the width being too large by ordering a size up, the shoes are exactly one size smaller than marked in every respect, may as well be straight 10s in my case.

I love these shoes; they are comfortable right out of the box. However, I was not careful enough when putting them on and scrunched the back down creating little ridges on the inside around my heel thus causing a blister, so I recommend being very careful when putting them on not to create the ridges because once they are there, there is no way to get rid of them. I walk in these shoes every day in the desert, winter and summer, and these shoes keep my feet dry in all kinds of weather plus I have good traction when walking on snow or ice.

These Merrell Siren Sports are very comfortable. I wore them on a 5 mile hike a few days after purchasing them and my feet were completely comfortable with no blisters or problems. They are perfect for going to my sons' games where I'm often standing in damp grass. The only disappointment with this shoe is that it was not offered in a wide width in all the color selections. I would have prefered more cheerful colors.

This shoe is sturdy, comfortable and good grip for short hiking. It was a little short in the toe so I worry about a longer hike.

I am very satisfied with the function and the look.

I bought these just for winter walking and running. I put orthotics in them, and I love them. They are waterproof, as touted, and they are comfortable as well. I am very pleased.

I definitely recommend this shoe after a year of putting it through the wringer (snow, heavy rain, mud, walking all day, travel). It is comfortable, flexible, and always waterproof. I have very high arches and very wide feet, and the only time I had any issue was once I used them to do a brisk walk 5 miles for exercise and found they weren't quite wide enough (I bought the "wide" width), but other than that one time I find them very comfortable, they have been wonderful on several hikes of 4 to 5 miles and of course great for work (I do walk around outside for work) and weekends. In summary - a 5 star all-around shoe but if you have very wide feet use tennis shoes for long distance walking/running on paved paths.

This is my fourth pair of these. They are the only shoes I can wear all day at my job in a nursery (I cover 5-7 miles a day on pounding on concrete).

I love this shoe so much I ordered a second pair after totally wearing out the first one. They look great on the foot. They feel wonderful and give the best support I have had in any athletic shoe. I have some pronation on one foot and it totally corrects that when I have them on. I also love the color combinations that they come in. Lynn Buhaug

These shoes rock! I have worn them hiking, repelling down waterfalls, rafting and zip-lining. They dry quickly, keep feet dry (when not submerged in water) and look great after having them 2 1/2 years!

I need a great shoe for walking on vacations. These are tight and rub on the outside below the little toes. Hope they will stretch because I love the color and style. I didn't want white or black with jeans!

Very comfortable while walking in the rain. Bought it to use for our trip to Whistler in few weeks, anticipating sloshing around in the village. I'm sure my feet will be happy and dry.

Love the Merrell Siren Sport of which I own 5 pairs. The Siren Sport Leather, no longer available. is the most comfortable. This shoe is very nice.

I love these shoes! This is my second pair. They are so comfortable and durable. They are water proof and a good alternative to a snow boot. They did need a little break in period.

I bought these for an upcoming vacation that will require alot of walking on asphalt. I'm wearing the shoes daily to break them in. I find that the insoles are not soft, but somehow they are very comfortable. They seem to reduce strain on my feet, legs and back. I believe these will be perfect for their intended use. Added bonus: I really like the appearance of these shoes. I normally prefer ballet flats, but they would be impractical for the amount of walking during this trip.

Really happy with these shoes. Comfortable right away, without having to break them in. Light weight so not bulky. Did buy a half size larger than my usual size, fits great.

Amazing! These are my first Merrells-and I could not have picked a better shoe. I am going to rock these in Ireland this fall-they will keep me dry and comfy-you will. Love these!

These are great shoes. I have worn them every day for at least an hour of walking in an urban area. They are also stylish. I ordered one full size above normal and they fit great.

Just received these shoes and am very very satisfied with them. I need a 9.5 but with most shoes must order a 10 because I have a wide foot; usually this means sometimes shoes can fit not so well for me. No problem this time; great fit. This is my second pair of Merrells. Came back to this brand after trying a pair of North Face trail shoes that within a year the upper material was pulling away from the sole. Decided to come back to what worked and think it will prove to be a good decision.

These shoes are comfortable and sturdier than I thought they would be. No breaking in period required! These are supposed to be waterproof, due to the Gortex, but I haven't worn them in the rain yet, so I can't address that. They give plenty of support and are a great walking shoe.

Best shoe ever! I got these a month ago and I think I've worn them every day since. I love them. They molded to my feet like gloves in just a few days yet provide really nice support. And the waterproofing got put to a serious test this weekend and they passed with flying colors. All weekend in buckets of rain and mud and my feet stayed 100% dry. I'm going to order more in case they ever stop making these.

We found the same shoe at a similar price elsewhere, but they didn't offer the range of colors offered by Zappos. We appreciate having more choices, easy ordering and prompt delivery. Thanks!
