I purchased this shoes in January of this year. They are one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. However the soles of these shoes have worn out in less than 9 months. I work a desk job. I walk some during lunch but that is it. I am very disappointed. If not for the soles wearing out prematurely I would have been very happy with these shoes!

I wear a 10.5 or an 11 medium in every shoe I've bought in the last 20 years, including a size 11 Rockport black penny loafers I've owned for nearly 5 years. However, this shoe, the "Oak Knoll -- Shakespeare Circle" has the strangest sizing I've ever experienced. My first pair, an 11, were so large there was a half-inch gap at the back of the shoe. My foot nearly fell out. I ordered a 10.5 and they were so tight my feet ached after wearing them only an hour. A second pair of 10.5s were just as tight. I don't understand how a half-size can be the difference between falling out of the shoe and achingly tight. Otherwise, I wish they fit -- the too-large one was very comfortable otherwise and they are excellent looking for a practical rubber-soled dress shoe.

Loved the shoe, fit was ok except for the heel which was too wide, I intenden to order one more time different size we'll see.

I have ordered the same size shoes for 50 years, I don't ever remember a pair of 10M that hurt my feet like these shoes did.
