I usually buy flats for around $50 & have never paid this much for a flat shoe but since I had a gift card to offset the price I took a chance. I needed a flat that would look dressy for work (I bought the black), but would withstand daily in/outdoor all-day standing (I'm a teacher aid) & on the playground & on the classroom floor a lot. I trusted the reviews and they were correct - this shoe is comfortable all around the upper foot! They do not tear up my super sensitive feet. I usually hate shoes and wear only flip flops or slip-on types because my heels suffer so much & all shoes give me heel blisters & scars. These shoes didn't need breaking in the leather is so thin & soft/flexible & bendable you would never believe it until you wore them. My only negatives would be the price, the lack of cushion on the inside and the sole is cheapy looking for the price, a flat plasticy type strip. Also, I read a bunch of reviews about the size & ordered 1/2 up...regret it! I wish I would've just ordered my actual size. The leather has stretched out to my foot & after a month, they are loose fitting. I will save my pennies & try to buy another pair, this time in my real size and maybe a daring color too. Overall, I am very happy. I get lots of compliments. They go with everything from jeans to dressy outfits.

Material very stretchy and gaps in the middle area when walking. Too bad, as they are very attractive for casual or dress.

Love these shoes! Pretty, easy, and comfortable. The style and color go well with most outfits. I always get lots of compliments when I wear these shoes. One thing, though: I wish I had only sized up half a size and not a full one as these shoes do stretch with wear (the leather is gloriously soft) and now they feel a tad loose -- issue somewhat resolved with orthotic inserts, which also provide arch support that these flats lack.

Really comfortable, buttery leather. Definitely order a half size larger at least on these shoes. I normally wear an 8 and the 8.5 Even so, Zeppa is a snug fit. Zeppa fits much tighter than the Sloop style and required a bit of stretching. I compare this with Sloop which felt good right away without any breaking in. Wedge heel is comfy and gives the shoe a bit of padding (whereas the Sloop is very thin).

Something has happened to the sizing of FSNY shoes. I have several of this style that fit perfectly. All of a sudden, they are too small by a half to a full size. Not sure if it is the materials or what. Disappointing.

As always, when ordering from Zappos, the shoes came sooner than promised. They were exactly as pictured and described and are excellent.

The cutest little spring/summer shoe! Very comfortable, looks great with everything from dressy to casual. Bought it in pale pink and went back for the beige. The reptile-like texture makes it extra-special. You can't go wrong with this one, but be sure to go up a size (as with all French Sole).

Gave it overall one star 'cause shoe was at least one size smaller than marked. Disappointed because it's so cute!

I love the Zeppa line. I have 4 pairs of them...tell you why. Well made, has a little glitz to them without overkill, unreal comfort, and just a little better in the support category than your standard flat. Honestly perfect w everything. The sizing is the only tricky thing...I am a 7.5 and always have to order an 8. Tried getting away w my reg size once and got pinched for it. What's strange is that the Fortuna...the French Sole shoe that looks like a Zeppa but w a peep toe, I have to size down in! Almost the same exact shoe, but different sizing! So buyer beware that French Sole sizing is screwy.

The website suggested ordering shoe a half size larger and they were right. I am a true size 8 and I ordered an 8 1/2 and they fit perfectly. This is a beautiful, well made, comfortable shoe. I have received many compliments. It's a little pricey but worth it.

I love these shoes. They are stylish and comfortable. They are so incredibly soft! I can walk in them virtually all day without discomfort of any kind. They look great with simple black slacks or a dress.

These are great shoes, and they're very comfortable. But you need to get a 1/2 size bigger than your size. I had to get a size 7, but my normal size is a 6.5.

This is a beautiful shoe, however I usually wear a 6.5 and a 7 is too small, also. I have a narrow foot as well and this shoe is way too wide for me.

I really like these shoes. There comfortful and stylish. Black goes with everything! I think everyone who buys them will enjoy.

My third pair of this comfortable, leather-lined, wedge style that is good looking with skirts, jeans or slacks but practical enough for some moderate walking. My normal size is 9.5 but I order 10 in French Sole.

I received these shoes late in the summer season, so they haven\'t been worn yet, howver they are soft as butter and the fit is better if I use a little foot pad. The shoe is so pretty and looks like a little French girl.

Very comfortable,light, beautiful. Work with dress or just shorts. Will get another color, too good to pass.

This is a great shoe! so comfortable, very very soft. I find it has a little more support than french sole flats usually do. I bought it in black, and love it so much that I ordered the pink and the blue. All are great but the pink looks just amazing! I notice that many people seem to order a size up. My usual shoe size is 6 1/2 and in french sole I usually wear a 6. These fit perfectly in a 6 1/2. I may order another color!

These shoes are so cute in blue snake print. I get compliments whenever I wear them. Very light and comfortable, too. Almost like being barefoot. I had to buy a half size larger.

I followed the recommendations I read and ordered a half size up. I couldn’t be happier with these shoes. I have a bunion and a sore, injured big toe, but took these out of the box and wore them all day with 100% comfort. I am ordering additional pairs in fun colors!

I first got these shoes at the recommendation of my granddaughter. I have them in Suede and Leather. They are the first shoes I go to every day. I have arthritis in my feet and they really are comfortable.

I've had other Zeppa shoes in different colors, but these ran less comfortable.

This runs short. I ordered an 8 and it was tight and short. Have ordered an 8.5 and will see how that works.
