These are very comfortable. They are great walking shoes as I am not a runner. I use my orthotics without a problem in these.

Love these shoes! I have plantar fascia and weak ankles. These shoes offer great support and after many months of pain, I'm able to run again! Just wish they came in darker colors.

This is my second pair of the exact same running shoe, very comfortable. I have a wider foot.

These sneakers, although a little pricey, are worth every single penny! They are like walking on clouds! I'm not a runner, but have started to walk (a lot) and when on the treadmill, I will throw in some short sprints and these are the most comfy shoes I've ever worn. Worth every penny! (Size is pretty true-to-form - I wear a 9/9.5, bought the 9.5 and they fit very good - a little 'roomy' in the toe area, but nothing uncomfortable.) Very cushioned, no 'heel rub'.

These shoes are light, comfortable and the off to side laces work great, sometimes right on top can dig in. Very attractive. I would recommend them to anyone. I don't run but walk a lot and I pronate (foot rolls in) and these are very supportive for me in that area. I'm a size 8, fit well, but if you wear heavier socks maybe try 8 1/2 and if you run, as your feet move forward and can swell up as well as walking. But I would say true to size.

They are wonderful if you are flat-footed or almost flat-footed. I'm so glad I found these--other shoes caused knee and back problems. These are wonderful, and my feet don't hate me anymore!

I have utilized this shoe on indoor gym equipment, outdoor walking, on hiking trails, and while traveling. I'm officially in love with Asics now!

Got these for working out at the gym, my feet felt wonderful considering the pounding they take on a treadmill. Wear a size 8 1/2 and it was a perfect fit.

I have worn Asics running shoes for several years. The Asics GEL-Kinetic 3 is a terrific shoe. The gel heel continues around the entire circumference of the heel rather than only along the outside heel circumference in other models. Nice room in the toe box without feeling "sloppy" & has a supportive lace design. I wear a 9.5 which is a half size larger than my usual size 9. I've found the pounding forward movement requires the extra length to avoid impacting my foot. The shoes can & do accommodate my custom orthotics. I also use this shoe for intense jazz/hip hop dance & cardio workouts. It absorbs impact & offers stability. Very lightweight, too. Wearing cycling socks that keep my feet dry pairs well with the shoe. I have already ordered a 2nd pair to have on deck for the future.

Another great Kinetic Shoe! Very comfortable! This is also a great option to use as a cross trainer with the stability it provides. Great for high impact cardio classes as well as running!

This is an amazing shoe! Great stability and maximum comfort! I bought them to replace my original GEL-Kinetic and these are just as great as the first generation!

Asics are the gold standard shoe for serious runners. I run a minimum 50 miles per week and therefore require a substantial shoe to protect from and help prevent injury. And somehow, Zappos had them on my front porch about 14 hours after I placed the online order!

Excellent sneaker! I take Turbo Kick and Zumba classes in these shoes and they are super comfortable and fit my foot very well.

Very happy with purchase! Fits true to size for Asics. Comfortable and great for running. Is higher around the ankles than other Asics.

I'm now on my fourth pair of Asics Gel Kinetics. I walk several miles at a time and use them for aerobics, as well. The only running shoe I've found that really has a bunch of cushioning on the ball and heel. I can walk 10 miles in them easily without any foot fatigue. I've looked a long, long time for the perfect athletic shoe and finally found it.

Excellent shoe. I was very happy with my purchase. Asics are great shoes, and once again, they proved that with this shoe. They have great arch support - however, are a half size larger than normal. I like the fact that right from the box you can put these on and go for a six mile run, and they don't need to be broken in. I recommend them - great job Asics!

Bought these shoes to train for a marathon and love them! They provide great support and I love the colors! They are a little heavier than I would like them to be but overall I am very happy with them.

I absolutely love these shoes. They are stable and cushioned. Perfect for long distance running.

Thank you Asics and thank you Zappos! I have looked up and down for a new pair of workout shoes. I prefer running shoes for better heel cushioning in general, as I have had a couple of surgeries on my heel and ankle. I often have problems with my toes falling asleep due to shoe design / fit...and this has been my biggest battle of late. I have literally gone through about 4 pairs of shoes from other vendors before purchasing these. I returned them all...and actually got "stuck" with a pair that I thought that I liked (New Balance). Same old story every time...fit wasn't right / toes fell asleep / something was wrong. I just received this pair of Asics today, and I love them. The design is awesome, the lacing system is unique and functional, and the fit is perfect! I am a true 8.5 in all shoes, and that is what fit in this running shoe, too. Toes aren't cramped. Heel is firm but comfortable. Can't wait until I can really work them out! I would buy these again and again...certainly worth the extra money to have a pair that works and looks great.

I purchased these two weeks ago since I am training for a half marathon and needed extra support for shin splints. Although I am starting out slow, I have not gotten shin splints at all! There is sufficient room for my feet in the front - no bunching. Could use a little more arch support, but they have enough room for orthotics.

I'm not a runner, but I wear running shoes for walking, playing tennis, and working out. Five or six years ago, over a span of several years, I wore various pairs of New Balance shoes, and I always had shin splints. I thought it was something I was doing (or wasn't doing). But when I switched to Asics, all my shin splints went away, and I haven't looked back. Before buying the Asics Gel-Kinetic 3, I had the Asics Gel-Kinsei 3, which are about $20 more expensive than the Gel-Kinetic. Zappos doesn't carry the Kinsei, so I tried the Kinetic, and I can't tell the difference. The Kinetic is fantastic! The only issue I have with Asics (and this is true of the Kinsei as well as the Kinetic) is that it runs about 1/2 size too small. My feet were measured recently and I'm a size 8, but the 8.5 Asics fit perfectly. In an 8, my toes are right up against the end of the shoe--close enough to the end to cause pain when I wear them for very long. So, for this reason, I definitely recommend ordering 1/2 size larger than you would normally wear.

I love this shoe. I have always loved Asics and tried many other brands. It gives support and cushioning where needed.

Great shoes! I have challenges with my feet and have had a hard time finding good running shoes. These ones support my feet really well. Good stability yet roomy enough to be comfortable.
