I love these shoes! I have flat feet. They are narrow in the heel and I need a wide toe-box. The 574 New Balance Classic meets these needs. The removable insole allows for an extra arch cookie or a custom orthotic. Very stable shoe with great shock absorbing qualities. Looks good, feels wonderful. I hate the way walking/running shoes evolved to resemble giant, bulky, clumsy marshmallows. THEY DON'T WORK. NB had it right from the beginning with this simple classic design with cantilever heel. I may try to buy a lifetime supply.

Great Look - I work at a hospital and have to stand on my feet most of the day. These are great for that! They have great support and also look great. I have had may compliments and I reply, "Go to Zappos.com, and you will find every kind of shoe possible!"

Most comfortable work shoe - These classic New Balance shoes have a good arch support and offer good stability. I am on my feet all day for my job and these are the best shoes I have found yet. As a plus they look a bit more stylish than other straight black walking shoes. This is my second pair and I am hoping they don't quit making them.

Overall, super cute! I ordered my normal size (8.5) and they were for sure a bit snug. Broke them in with a thick pair of socks and they're perfect now! If you're concerned, I would definitely recommend ordering a half size up.

NOT true to size - I cannot feel my feet into these shoes! I normally wear a size 8. I bought an 81/2 wide and my toes are in the top. These do not feel like a wide width shoe at all. Now I am stuck with a pair of shoes I cannot even wear!

New Balance 574 Review - This shoe is great. I've had lots of compliments on it.

I LOVE these. They looks super cute with black leggings and my puffy vest for this fall/spring. I wore them out and got so many compliments and they are SO soft and so comfortable.. I’m a true size 8 and they fit great! I’m a very picky shoe person, must have the best shoes for comfort and support. These are perfect!

Love these shoes! I have narrow heels and kind of big bunions so it's hard for me to find a comfortable sneaker. New Balance fits the bill! I lean between a 7.5 and 8, usually 8, and these fit me perfectly in size 7.5.

Slippery comfort - I use these shoes for work at the restaurant. They're great for my feet and my back, but they're really slippery on a wet floor. This is my second pair of these and I know from experience that once I get the tread worn down, they won't be nearly as hazardous.

I need 10 of these! Cutely retro... I've gotten numerous compliments on the cuteness of this shoe. Not a running shoe, but certainly good to kick around with and walk in for hours. Amazingly comfortable and comes in wide even in the smaller sizes (Zappos had my hard-to-find 5.5D size!).

Love these shoes! These are a great pair of shoes. They come in widths, which was great for my wide feet. The W fits wonderfully for a wide foot like mine. These fit true to size and have great arch support. They were a little uncomfortable when I first put them on, but they softened up after a few short walks. I don't think these are meant to be athletic shoes, but they are great for just kicking around town, taking the dog for a walk, or playing frisbee in the park. I bought these in the Silver/Cream/Pink. The pink is a gorgeous coral color. The cream suede gets dirty pretty quickly, but that's to be expected. The tag says not to put these shoes in the washing machine, but I've washed mine in the machine and they turned out fine. A great purchase. Highly recommended.

I like these shoes and they are comfortable. However, when I spilled something on them and tried to wipe it off with a cloth and water, the cloth turned black. So, I don't think this is one to wear in the rain. I like everything else about the shoe.

Wore these all over Europe and they were perfect. Walked countless miles, up many stairs, over crumbly roads, never had an issue. Very comfortable and fit true to size. I had the white and they somehow stayed clean the entire trip too. Tried about 15 pairs and very glad I kept these. Excellent shoe!

Literally could not stop smiling when I first opened the box! They look even better than the pictures. I really love the suede on the shoes and just the whole design itself. I feel so light when walking in them. 100% satisfied with my purchase.

These were worth waiting for! They are super cute and seem to be comfortable, I’m wearing them to work for the first time tomorrow. I didn’t realize when I bought these that the have glitter around the N and on the back, it’s a nice touch, I was pleasantly surprised!

Able to remove the insole for my full orthotics which fit perfectly! The gum sole is slip resistant. Shoe has plenty of support and stability. Just what I need! Looks good too! The colors are like muted cotton candy. Very pleased.

These are the cutest kicks that I have seen in awhile. I love the 80's retro style of the New Balance Classic Palm Springs. I got the black and pink and the colors match exact to the picture. Unfortunately they are definitely wide in the heel as another reviewer mentioned. I ordered a size 7 even though I usually wear a 6½ in tennis shoes as others have mentioned they might run small. The 7 slides on and off my heel, and I know that they will not stay on if I run. The 6½ are all sold out. So I ordered direct from New Balance and had to pay a bit more. Thanks for the free return though, Zappos!

This New Balance is comfortable, supportive and very attractive. I am always looking for a shoe to help me with nerve pain from Morton's Neuroma and this makes my foot pain free. My 27 year old daughter says the 574 is a great look for me and for her age group. She approves and this matters to me as she is always worried I will wear old lady shoes! Not these, very cool.

I have the New Balance Classics W574 in many colors. I love these shoes because they are comfortable and wear well. I have wide feet and found New Balance to be the only shoe like this to fit my foot.
