I love Asics and while these are really nice looking shoes, they are not the most comfortable Asics that I have owned. That being said, they are still a good purchase. However I do use other Asics for running. I wished these would be my "go to" shoes but they aren't as comfortable. Super cute though!

I like the Asics, they are a comfortable, stylish shoe. This is my second pair of this particular style. They are lightweight and great for everyday wear which is what I use them for.

I train 5 days a week at the gym and needed a shoe with good cushioning that could stand up to jumping and higher impact workouts. I was looking for a comfortable stylish black sneaker, and this fit the bill. I know there have been comments on the laces being short...I actually prefer it so I don't have to double knot and these stay tied. Probably not the greatest for lateral movement due to the shape of the heel, but overall I am very pleased with the sneaker for training and also worked fine for Zumba. All my Asics I've had to order 1/2 size larger than my actual size, and did the same with these and they fit great.

These are perfect for a gym workout, weight training, especially lunges where you need foot flexibility. Shoe feels solid but not tight. Love them!

First time trying the brand Asics. I love these shoes, great fit and more support than my previous Nike's.

I bought these for my daughter, who was getting ready to run a 10 mile race and could not find size 10 shoes that were comfortable. She loves these and was able to get them three days before the race; and loved running in them!

These are slightly tighter than all the 8 ASICS Gels I have had in the past (about 5 pair). They are stretched out better now.

Asics Gel-Frantic 5 are extremely comfortable. Purchased these based on looks and was wonderfully surprised how well they fit. On my feet 15 hours a day and these stand up!

I am a big fan of Asics shoes. They are very supportive, light, and durable. I bought a pair similar to these last year and have worn them everywhere. Very satisfied.

These shoes are really comfortable. They have fabulous arch support and they give a really good feel when you walk, kind of like they bounce back a little. They are a little snug in the width but I need that for support when I literally run around at work.

I do cardio 6 days a week along with high intensity interval training. I work out on carpet, and this shoe is perfect for it because of the almost non-existent tread on the bottom. These are great and supportive for intense workouts, and they're cute too! I cannot say enough about Zappos service. I have been ordering shoes from them for over a year, and after the first couple times ordering, I have been consistently upgraded to overnight shipping for free! The excellent service is what keeps me coming back to Zappos time and time again!

Great looking shoe. But then it ends there. Having purchased the Asics Upstart and being very happy with them, decided to try another line within the brand. This shoe falls short to my prior experience. I am a runner, and hoped that the "gel" feature would be the same in every shoe. Not the case for me. These actually make my feet hurt after about a mile where the Upstarts can take me up to 5, 6, however many miles I want to. I would highly recommend these shoes, if you are just wanting something really cute and stylish, but please don't try to use these for long distance running. And they run a little small. I have always been a 7 in every running shoe I have ever purchased (no matter what the brand), but these, I had to go a half size up.

Shoes are great. has a lot of cushion and provides great support. The only thing I have noticed is that it feels a bit narrow in the front, so if you have wide feet you may want to try it out first. other than that, I love them and the black color is so cute!

The sole is very thin. They are good for some training, but not great on a spin bike. They are lightweight, stretchy and breathable. There is good heel support.

Like the look of these, however they feel a little more narrow than other Asics I've owned and have taken longer to break in. Good lateral support though.

The Gel-Frantic 4 was the best pair of Asics I have owned. Overall I am pleased with these shoes, but they are not as comfortable as the previous ones. Also, they do run smaller than any of my other shoes, including Asics; however I have a wide foot and these fit nice.

Love these shoes. Great for my sort of all-purpose sneaker...not so much a running shoe. Basically, Asics version of Shox but less expansive and more comfortable. Note: I am a half size bigger in these than in my Asics Kayano running shoes, so keep that in mind while ordering. Lost one star overall because the shoelaces are a little bit too short.

Runs a bit small had to go a 1/2 size larger. Shoe strings long enough, comfortable shoe.

The Asics have great heel support and cushion, I needed that for running. Overall I like the Asics so much that I purchased two.

I have previously worn the Gel-Frantic 4 ,and noticed it was time to get new sneakers. So I decided to give these a try (since I loved the 4). They are not the best shoes out there. I have no arch support or ankle protection. They run a little too low below the ankle for me. I also had to put in new shoe laces since this I could barely tie a knot with the ones given.

The laces are not two feet too long, they are too short. The toe bed feels like a cheap shoe, no cushioning just blah material. They are lovely and stylish looking but I have purchased much better Asics in the past for less money. I hope the brand recovers their quality. I was very disappointed that the laces went from one extreme to another.

I have exclusively bought Asics for the past 7 years. I did the foot test on Zappos website and these shoes were in the category that would work well for my foot shape. Well, they look great and fit okay, but were really hard and uncomfortable just to stand in. The soles are really really hard.

I wore an older version of the Gel-Frantic (I think it was 3) to pieces because they were so comfy. This re-styling is awful if you're used to earlier models of the shoe. They're not kidding when they say it has slipper-like styling. The shoe runs so narrow through the sides of the toe box/shoe that it's uncomfortable. Had to return.

The sole in the front of these shoes is extremely thin. I couldn't possibly run in them. My feet were killing me from just wearing them on the elliptical stepper. Unfortunately, I am stuck with them since I have worn them outside. I ordered my usual model of Asics running shoes and plan to wear these casually because they are really cute.

Love the way the shoes look. I have had a lot of discomfort within minutes after putting these shoes on to work out. I have never really had to break shoes like this in. I was disappointed. I have worn them several more times and they seem to be getting better. If I had a choice to purchase them again, I would pass.
