Found this to be one of my fav boat shoes on the market. Very stylish yet conservative. Durable and sturdy.

I really like these kind of shoes but had to return them because of minor defects after a thorough inspection. They're stylish and easy to match with jeans and chinos. This is my 2nd Timberland classic boat shoes and the first pair lasted 5 years. By the looks of it, I think the quality in terms of materials and comfort has decline somewhat.

Looks like the ad. and so far feels light and comfortable.

Very comfortable definitely for casual wear not a long walk walking shoe. I'm used to a blunt front end boater but am getting used to this one. Feels a bit to long in front but I think that is a matter of style not fit.

These are great all around shoes that allow me to simplify my daily choice. I would highly recommend good insoles as these are not confortable for long periods of time standing.

I use them for fishing on the boat, as a just throw 'em on and go, and as a dress shoe! It's a "jack of all trades" type of shoe. Love em!

The boat shoe is the perfect shoe to combine with khakis and a nice shirt. I like to wear them to travel and to go out with my beautiful girlfriend. You can wear them everywhere and anytime they will always give you that classic look. I can highly recommend them.

My husband is not happy with the slick bottom. Any inclement weather will make slipping an issue.

I've purchased 2 pair of these. The soles seperated on first pair and Timberland replaced them via store credit. Time will tell if the second pair are better. They are comfortable and stylish.

On my 3rd pair of these in 20 years. First pair was lost, second pair just wore out the sole and leather after 15+ years of constant wear. The third pair I am really disappointed with the durability of the stitching. At the crosspiece that goes over your arch to the sides of the shoe. The stitching broke down or came loose AT THE SIDE on both shoes. Found a cobbler and had them repaired but you would think they would hold up better for that price. Something has changed in the manufacturing process or the quality of the stitching.

I have had a number of pairs over the years, but no more. On every pair the soles comes loose on the front of the shoe well before it's worn out. I glue them but it's not the same. I wind up using them when gardening.

They are tight on the side and uncomfortable. I ordered 8.5 size and I had to exchange them to 9. I wish they were available in Wide W because I think they will be more comfortable in a W.

I have been buying these shoes 25077 since they were in NH (1972). Always have 3-4 shoes in different condition. Over the years the quality has gone downhill (China). The soles separate from the shoe and interior pad comes lose. Customer service doesn't exist!

Had to return the shoes. Although advertised as wide, they were not.

Very nice looking shoe, but shoe size 13w runs smaller than all my other 13w shoes.. this shoe is not available in the next size up.

The shoe is comfortable and fits well, however not totally happy with this shoe, i have the 3 eye boat shoe and like the way they did the upper and lower smooth leather liner inside the shoe, but in this version they dont, its raw leather, doesnt look as nice, or feel as smooth, other than that its a nice shoe.

I've purchased 3 or 4 pairs of these over the last few years and have found them to be comfortable, and they have been reasonably durable. The reason I've rated them no higher than 3 is that the insole liner of one of the shoes was not glued properly; the front centimeter of the liner was not glued and caused it to be uncomfortable to wear. I intend to try to glue it myself rather than go to the trouble of returning them, but it is a bit of a red flag regarding the construction of the shoe, so I will be keeping an eye on that and will consider the next time I'm in the market for this type of product.
