I just love these womens Avia iShapes for cushion and support. I have a friend that wears this same style shoes. She told me to buy a pair, that I would really like them. I had to go to womens shoes because of my accident. I wear these 7 days a week. Super comfy for walking. Can't wait to buy another pair. Thanks Zappos and my friend.

I just had spinal fusion surgery and with these shoes I am learning to walk again. The exercise they are giving my legs and feet are great! After the surgery I could not lift up my big toes and now I can thanks to these shoes. They also do help with toning up my legs which is a big help after surgery AND breaking my left foot before the surgery. Avia, you rock!!!

I just bought these iShapes because my identical pair no longer looks brand new - haven't worn these yet - I was just afraid the style might be discontinued and they're just perfect for me! So I now I feel secure with a reserve pair. I have them in black, too! They're very comfortable and with the little added height, keep me from having to shorten jeans.

love these shoes! More support than Skechers, but enough rocker sole to give them the toning effect. Zappos is the best!

This is my second pair of Avia but a different model. These were too big by at least a half size.

I just love wearing these women’s Avia iShapes. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I walk 3 miles a day with them. Sometimes, I will stop in one place and rock back and forth with them. It really feels good for my ankles after having surgery. I am buying another pair soon.

I bought this pair of shoes after buying (and loving) the iTones. I was happy to find that they are just as comfortable. I work 12 hour shifts on concrete floors so I need shoes that offer good support. These fit my very average arches perfectly and the curved bottom makes it impossible to pound my heels. I couldn't believe how much better my feet felt after wearing these for a full shift.

These are the most comfortable walking shoes yet! I have worn other Avia styles for the last few years and these are even more fabulous! I can really feel the difference especially in regards to posture and working my core. I used them on my daily walk right out of the box and haven't turned back! And they arrived in one day! Amazing!

Great Shoe! I tried the Skechers (too heavy and clunky) and the Ryka shape shoes, and this was by far the most comfortable. It was also the least expensive of the options. I have ankle problems and the gentle rolling motion helps my movement, and reduces pain. I have not noticed any of the hype about toning, and I don't have any muscle soreness with these shoes. This shoe easily accommodates my custom orthotics also. Zappos rocks!

What a great shoe! Felt a little weird at first, but once I got my balance they are the most comfortable shoes I own. A word of advice, break them in gradually. I wore them the first day for about 6 hours (it's just a shoe, I'm tough, right?!) and my feet, calves, thighs and lower back were sore that night. Definitely some muscle action going on! I would highly recommend the iShape, and I always recommend Zappos. It is simply the best!

These are the most comfortable athletic shoes I have ever worn. They have lots of cushioning and support. Other shoes give me pain in my heels the balls of my feet. Not so with these. The fit was great! I even got my mother wearing them. You can feel some stretching in your upper thighs and buttocks when you first wear them. That is the point of a"toning shoe" and that is nice, but I will buy these again because of the comfort. Love them!

These are so comfortable! I just got them a couple of weeks ago for walking my dogs and at the gym. I walked 15 miles in them this week, and can definitely feel that I've used my hamstring and glutes more than a regular shoe, but they don't feel at all unstable. I walk on a paved path by a nearby lake that has rolling hills, and was concerned about a shoe with too much of a rocker feel to it because of the hills. They are nice and cushy feeling and felt great right out of the box.

I work 12 hour shifts as a nurse on a very big and busy unit. I am on my feet most of my 12 hours and these shoes are great. They offer complete comfort, support and are orthotic friendly. They are literally the first shoes I have found that do not leave me in pain after work.

Fabulous shoes. True to size. I can’t wear sneakers for longer than 10 minutes (hello 5 inches stiletto!) because of high arches, but these are great! I just added a small adhesive arch inside the shoe. I wear them when taking a Fusion class and they really make all the squats and lunges even harder. I exercise a lot so I haven’t noticed any soreness or anything, but didn’t buy them for that, just to replace my uncomfortable sneakers. 1st time I’m actually happy with sneakers.

These were keepers, and I wear them on the treadmill while I walk and watch Oprah. The fit's great - size 10 for my mid to wide size 10 foot. I DO feel a difference in my muscles; they have a good stretched and strengthened feeling. Seems like everyone's jumping on the rocker-sole bottom, and these Avias are worth a try for a reasonable price. They're kind of pretty too as these go; a nice pearlescence trim.

I ordered these for my wife after she saw a similar product in a mail order catalog, but balked at the $200.00+++ price tag. She has worn Avia for some four years now and has always been pleased! No difference here with the Avia iShape. For walking and exercising they can not be beat. The support, flexibility, and overall quality is what she has come to expect from Avia. It takes some getting accustomed to the shape and rocking motion they produce, but overall this is a great product at a great price. Couple that with Zappos service and you have a winner. She likes these shoes so much she had me order her a back up pair so she could rotate them and give them a chance to air out. Thanks Zappos and Avia!!

These have got to be the most comfortable sneakers I have ever worn!! I have so many issues with my feet - but have to say - it felt like I had new feet (seriously) walking in these. They support, almost cradle your foot bed...feel like wearing two very light weight and supportive mattresses under my feet. I walked over two miles to work in them the first morning and I could've kept going (right past my office door!). Didn't necessarily feel the immediate results in the legs or elsewhere (as they are advertised to affect)but then I've only worn them a few times. I can say however that my back felt great after that first day, so perhaps the effect - especially when you wear them continuously - surfaces over time. But after that two mile fast walk, I wasn't fatigued - but energized. I love them. Wish they made them in a darker color. I went out and purchased another brand of 'rocker' shoe in a darker color so that I could camouflage them better with dark dress pants.

These sneakers were very comfortable right out of the box. They look good, too. They are a little less obvious than the first toning sneakers that came out. If you are in condition, I don't think that these sneakers will help you all that much, but if you are just starting a fitness program, they do seem to help a little.

These shoes are roomy so thick socks are needed to fill them in. They are made for continuous walking so they should be worn only for fitness walking, not standing on - they will feel like you are standing on a rock! The other brands of "fitness/shape up your legs" shoes feel the same (tried them on at the local department store), so they do the job at more reasonable price. The ones I received squeaked at every step so I returned them.

Very comfortable shoes, but they are a little short in length, so allow an extra half size for sure. You will probably want to wear good socks with them. Easy to walk in, even though it is a little different feel than regular walking shoes.

Like the shoes. I wear them around the house while I am cleaning, trying to kill two birds. They are comfortable and I do feel it in my legs, after wearing them for a while my arches start to hurt, but if you are looking for this kind of shoe, I think they do the job.

I purchased the Avia Women's Avi-Motion I-Shape shoes after trying them on at a store. I fell absolutely in love with the comfort of these shoes and they made me want to walk - a lot! I purchased them and for one week I wore them every day (both for walking and just for daily wear). I have had two arthroscopic knee surgeries a few years ago on one knee and have had no trouble with my knees for at least 3-4 years now. However, after wearing these shoes for one week, both of my knees were in awful pain! I was so disappointed and alarmed! I love these shoes - the comfort is off the charts - you want to wear nothing but these shoes; however, I think they cause you to walk differently, thus engaging your knees big time - which ended up bringing a lot of pain to my knees. I went back to my regular tennis shoes and in less than a week, the knee pain subsided. I did notice that I felt a lot of tightening in my buttock area and you can feel the shoe working on your calves so they undoubtedly do help with shaping up! My husband also purchased a pair and he really loves his avi-motion shoes and wears them daily during work as well as while walking. He is younger than I am and doesn't have any knee issues so perhaps these shoes are just not a good investment for people with knee problems. I also feel that the style looks a bit like a orthopedic shoe an old person would wear. A couple of people actually made fun of me when I wore the shoes!

I\'m not sure if I like these shoes or not but in all fairness, I have worn them little since I got them. I have plantar fasciitis and really think that a good ol\' pair of Brooks walking shoes is better for my feet because of their support.

I purchased this fitness sneaker 2 weeks ago. I wore them exactly 5 times and from day 1, they have not quite lived up to the reviews that caused me to purchase this shoe. I for one found that this sneaker stretches quite a bit. After day 1, these sneakers felt extremely large 'width' wise. It may have to do with the leather used being too soft for this type of sneaker. Aside from the stretching, the sneaker looks as if I've worn them for a month. The support seems OK, but my arches did feel a bit sore at day's end. In all fairness, my work day is 8 to 11 hours. On a plus side, these sneakers do alleviate the pain I suffer from plantar fasciitis, and this is the only reason I just marginally recommended this sneaker.
