Looked for nicely heeled boots with a decent tread for years before I found these. My only complaint is that the soles are hard- what happened to the bouncing soles that Docs are so well known for? They have some cushioning inside, but it's not much. Fortunately the heels aren't too tall, so they're comfy enough. I get compliments every time I wear them, and people can't believe they're Doc Martens.

Usually I cannot wear this brand because they are usually too wide. This boot fit like a glove. I love them. The color is great and I love the style. Can't wait to wear them. By the way, I love Zappos!

I love these boots and they are very comfortable and stable despite their height, and also true to size (I'm an 8.5 US and these fit great!). I also have the shiny black version!

I am in love with these boots! I have them in the black patent leather and they are so perfect. They do run a bit big, so I ordered a half size smaller than I normally wear. The style is amazing; comfort is very good for the size of the heel, and I love lacing up my Docs for a night out! With the patent leather, they look nice with dress pants, and can also be worn with jeans. Truly my most favorite pair of boots!

Love the Doc Marten Darcie boot! So comfortable to wear all day: at the office, with my daily walking break for lunch, then to the grocery store after work, etc. Feet never tire and the boots look so cool! I wear them with long skirts, work pants and blouses, and jeans. They go with everything! Tiny complaint: they are a bit squeaky with the patent. I have many Docs, this is my first pair of high heels from them. I ordered my usual 7 (American women's) and they were too tight across the top of my foot so I exchanged for the 8 and they are a bit too loose everywhere else but fit perfect with thicker socks. Love them!

Stylish, weather resistant, comfortable. I can wear this black shoe to work, for fun, and the patent sheen even gives them some black tie appeal. Plus, Docs last for years and years! An awesome investment.

When I first tried on these boots I was worried about the seams of the tongue of the boot wearing against my feet because of possible high arches. But I am relieved to say that they do wear in. I am about a 7.5 women's, or a 38 European, and the size five UK seem to be working out fine. I was thinking of taking them to a shoe repair shop to have them stretched, but they are becoming more comfortable all the time.

These boots are everything I thought they'd be. It does not feel like I am wearing a heeled boot. I don't know how they've done it, but it is amazing. Upon initial handling, they are relatively lightweight compared to other Doc's. I was concerned that the patent might be too much, as the images on the website under the intense lighting might suggest, but they are perfect. The only thing I might do is add a gel cushion as the foot bed doesn't have any detectable padding.

I ordered these boots on a whim, thinking that they would be so uncomfortable that it would be easy to return them. Not! These boots are so comfortable. You don't feel like you are wearing heels at all. One reviewer did not like the thicker rubber under the ball of the foot, whereas that is what I think makes them even more funky. These boots are super cute, and a bit dressier and feminine without being over the top, and still maintain the chunky appeal that most shoes don't have these days. I highly recommend them, if this style of shoe is your thing.

I love these shoes! I ordered them for winter/fall use, but they arrived this August. It was a very rainy week in Boston and I was there on business and needed to walk about a mile to the office. Not only were they uber comfy for the round trip walk, my feet were dry and warm. I also got three compliments on them when I got in, yet no one knew they were new. Would love to get another pair or two in different colors.

Bad-Ass Approved. These Darcie boots toughen up even the most girly outfits in a Rocker Chic way. Equally appropriate with my leather jacket or my delicate white tiny blue-flowered sundress. Smart choice. Seasonless.

If you're familiar with Docs, the fit and feel of these will be exactly what you're used to. The leather is still and needs breaking in, but unlike some other styles I own, they don't feel like they need a lot of breaking in to be wearable for an extended day. They look great and they seem to be made to last forever, just as I'd expect from the brand.

Ordered these rockin' boots and the arrived in only a few day! Shortest wait on anything I have ordered online! These boots rock! I generally where a size 7-8 (depends on the make) and the UK size 5 fits perfect! The color is awesome. The black with faded spots of a white gray that are randomly throughout the boot! Only tip that I can offer is to wear higher socks with them. I wore ankle socks on the first day I got them and the eyelets did a number on my legs! Love these boots! Super comfy, very comfortable even after standing for 8-9 hours a day in them!

Cute and comfortable! I wanted something more sexy\/edgy than flats that I could wear for longer periods of time on my feet than heels. These boots were great. They are a bit stiff, but I\'ve broken in skate boots with neoprene anklebooties to prevent chaffing or blisters and they worked fabulously with these too.

Thanks Zappos! You did it, again! This is the longest shipping time that I have ever had from you all! 3 days! If you think about it, that would be phenomenal to get shipping that fast from anywhere else! We are spoiled rotten, by Zappos! However, when I went to the tracking number today, to see why I hadn't gotten it in the usual five hours after placing the order, I noticed that Zappos had it already checked in, and the shipping paid. Ready to fly out to me, about an hour after I sent the order in! It wasn't even Zappos, that had the slightest delay! Haha! Oh yes, the boots! They are the bomb! I love them! It's really hard to say a pair of doc's is beautiful, really hard! But, these are! No joke! The leather is phenomena! These feel like they were custom made! I have really, really severe lupus, scleroderma and rheumatoid arthritis, not to mention fybromyalgia! And thus i have severe nerve damage in my feet! I cannot stand for anything, even socks, to press on the top of my toes! Especially the big toenail! They don't! My back already feels better with a heel. So comfy! Thanks again!

These boots are very trendy. People notice them because of their shine and shape. I have received lots of compliments. I usually wear them with pants and they are very comfortable and durable. I have worn them outside in the rain and on dirty pavement. They still look great when I return inside. I'm not a high fashion person but I think these boots are very versatile. They could be worn with skirts, dresses, leggings etc. and still make your outfit look classy.

I ordered this shoe because I needed a 3” plus heel to wear with long pants. I’d stopped wearing heels because I was having pain in my feet from bunions. I don’t have any pain when I wear this shoe. It keeps my feet leveled so there is no strain on my arch. It’s also wide enough that it doesn’t crowd my toes. I feel strong and powerful yet comfortable in this shoe.

It was so nice to see a boot you can wear to work and still have a little wedge and heel and not be sore at the end of the day. All the boots today are skinny heels and flat bottoms. Nothing to look good and be able to work, except now I love this boot. I ordered two.

Doc Martens with heels? My dream come true. I'm a photographer, so I'm on my feet for long, very active days, carry gear and running around. I can wear these shoes all day, no problem. They are the comfort, quality, and attitude you expect from Docs, with the added style and sexiness of a heel. I LOVE THESE SHOES WITH ALL MY HEART!

I wear Doc Martens everyday. I love these boots because they have a nice heel and they are comfortable.

Sexy boot for a great price...Heel height is perfect I only wish that they had the yellow stitching and were taller. Looks great with my grey plaid pants and skinny jeans. Perfect for all the mud and slush that is in North Dakota now. The white leather is stiff but that’s the best part of breaking in Docs. Looks great even when they are muddy.

I simply adore these shoes! They are comfortable and give me height without losing my balance. I wear them with jeans, dress trousers, and best of all with my black jumper and argyle tights. Doc Martens take up most of my wardrobe of shoes and these are amongst my "most frequently worn!"
