I really wanted these shoes to be comfortable. I had heard only good things about them and I was so excited about a shoe that was both cute and comfortable. I spent way more money on them then I should of. The soles of the shoe are indeed very comfortable, but the tops of the shoe where they held together with metal eyelets are killer on my feet. It doesn't matter how much I loosen or tighten the shoe the top digs into my feet. I haven't heard anyone else complain about this so I don't know if I just got a defective pair. All that I know is I spent quite a bit on a pair of shoes I can't even wear.

ordered a half size bigger than I normally wear but when I walk, it feels like I'm going to walk out of my shoe. The back where my heel is, are loose but other than that, they've very comfortable. For me, I guess I needed to have ordered my true size.

I was very happy with this shoe, and of course Zappos service as well. The size I originally ordered was too big, so I ordered a half size smaller and received it the next morning! The shoe itself I love, but it does rub on the back of your heel a little which becomes uncomfortable after a while.

Really cute shoes- order a half a size down, though. Maybe it\'s just me, but the heels of these shoes rub and give me blisters on the back of my heels every time I wear them! I usually just put a band-aid on for preventative measures, but it\'s kind of annoying to have to remember to do that or suffer painful blisters.

These shoes are very cute and comfortable. I have fairly narrow feet so they are a tad bit wide, but they are loafers and are not supposed to be super well fitted. It also seemed to run a teeny bit big, so if you are between sizes I'd recommend going a half size smaller.

Disappointed. The first pair I bought in the size I usually get were too big. I got a smaller size and they are very squeaky. I also think with the type of insole these shoes have that socks would be required if walking a lot or it's hot outside.

Your company has changed the material You have used in the past that you make your boat shoes with. It is very flimsy. Probably why some of the reviews say shoe is running bigger. Mine are definitely floppy on my feet. Sure do miss my old Angelfish boat shoes. I wore them out!

Not my favorite Sperry style. The shoe doesn't come back far enough at the top to be super comfortable to me.

The seam by the eyelet on the left shoe was crooked and the material at that point was too thick. The right shoe didn't have this problem. This is all about quality control. I ordered a wide and the right shoe was fine but the left was a little too tight by the bone. If I had a bunion this would be a terrible fit. I wore these a few times so I can't return them but they are a perfect for donation.

I am so disappointed. The shoe is really cute, BUT Sperry needs to rethink how they finishing the inside, particularly over the widest part of the foot. The shoe has inflexible lumps and bumps. The stiff leather thong threads inside and rests right on the first joint of the large toe. A perfect place for a blister. The heel is hard as well. No way will these areas break in, and peds do not protect. I personally would never wear this shoe with socks, so I am returning.

Heel fits fine; forefoot is so tight it distorts my feet, despite reviewers who were able to adjust for bunions with the ties. It's a really cute casual shoe so I'm disappointed. Are there any manufacturer's who make women's shoes that are roomy in front, normal in the heel? And why do half sizes stop at size 10? Sad.

This is my 4th pair of Sperrys and until now, they've seemed to get more comfortable and seemingly better quality with each pair... this is the first time I feel like trying on my new pair isn't like stepping into a pillow. The color of the leather is much darker in person than online and the brand stamp on the heel looks a little sloppy compared to previous pairs. That being said, these shoes are still the style I'm going for and are comfortable overall - I'll keep them, mainly since I didn't want to pay to send them back and I haven't seen any in a similar style with lighter leather, but I likely won't buy through the website in the future and will try on Sperrys in a store before purchasing to confirm the comfort and style.

I ordered these in my normal Sperry size and they were too big. The style is very cute, but the inside sole on my left shoe was already coming up, so they aren't comfortable at all.

These shoes are a lot cuter than I expected, but the were bigger to size than my other pairs. Also, in the left shoe, the heel part of the sole was already starting to detach when I got them making them quite uncomfortable.

I purchased my standard 9.5, which I wear in other Sperry shoes But it was too large so I ordered the nine. However, that also was large so it is simply that the shoe runs wide. I am so disappointed because it looks absolutely terrific!

I initially ordered these in my usual Sperry size and they were very large and sloppy on me. So I ordered a half size down, only to realize that the heel area was still way too wide. It was most disappointing, as the look is great!

This item is not as pictured. It looks like the tie is brown leather. It is shiny gold. The fit was also uncomfortable. It was tight at the top and very lose toward the back of the shoe. Thank you.

Sperry Anglefish are very cute and comfortable with the big exception of the width in the front of the shoe. The front is very narrow and the all leather ones especially do not streatch with wear.

I was very disappointed when I received this Sperry. I am an avid lover of all sperrys and have been a fan of the angelfish for years. Was super excited when they came out with them again. However, after receiving mine, I was utterly frustrated. They did not fit and I purchased the same size I am in all sperrys. Also, they seem very cheaply made. They are not the same as the original angelfish there is less cushion on the inside, and the outside feels much cheaper. I am going to be returning them.

I just received my shoes.......and while they are very comfortable, I'll have to wear socks with them because they were too wide. I ordered the AA, but they're not narrow enough.

I've always wanted a pair of these shoes but I was so disappointed by hope they felt. They rubbed my ankle so I had to return them. Everything else about them was great and I really wanted them to work out, but they hurt.

I desperately wanted to love these shoes but sadly they are not for me. I typically wear a size 9 (sometimes a 9w in running shoes depending on the style). I read all the reviews about the shoes stretching and people needing a 1/2 size smaller but I was skeptical & ordered a 9W since some reviews noted them running narrow. I think the shoes are really cute and go with lots of my wardrobe for spring and summer (slightly darker brown than in the picture) but the fit is just wrong for my feet. 9W was too big & 8.5W felt like they were squishing my toes together & cutting into my heel (it did feel like it would improve some overtime with stretching but not enough to ever be truely comfortable.) To save Zappos shipping another pair (love you Zappos! Your customer service rocks!) I tried on a 9 in a department store & those just didn't fit right either, stayed on better than the 9w but pinched my toes (really don't want to encourage bunions). After exhausting all my options for sizing it's become blatantly obvious that this style is not for me. :-(

This particular pair was defective. The insole was a good two sizes too small. My big toes hung over edge inside the shoes. Super uncomfortable! Ordering an exchange right now, hoping it's right next time!

I love Zappos, but I am very disappointed with these shoes. The tan part is darker and the back piece is lighter, making a stronger contrast and it just isn't as feminine looking. They are very comfortable though.
