These are extremely comfortable for walking. This is my second pair. the first ones were so wonderful I had to have another in a different color.

Most comfortable shoes ever! This is my third pair. Great for extending walking or standing. Very soft leather that molds beautifully to your foot. Just enough support to allow your feet to move naturally. I wear them nearly all year long.

I\'m a big Merrell fan, but even all Merrells are not the same. These sandals are amazingly comfortable, and good looking on. I tried my sister\'s Bassoons on and immediately ordered both tan and black for myself. They fit both of us even though she has a wide foot and I have a narrow foot.

I bought this sandal in mauve and love it! The Merrell footbed is so comfortable! Please don't ever change it! This is the best sandal I've ever worn! The design and placement of the straps is perfect for my feet. No chafing, no blisters, and my foot does not move sideways against the straps causing me to step on the edge of the sandal as has happened to me with other brands.

These sandals were comfortable from the start. Wore them on vacation in Europe and walked everywhere. Usually wear a wide width, but Merrells fit great. Can\'t top Merrells for quality and comfort.

This is my second pair of Merrell Bassoon sandals. Merrell is a "no break in" shoe. Just put them on and go. They also last forever, and are so cute on.

These are my third pair of Merrell shoes and I am very pleased with the comfort and support they all provide. I have bunions, so finding a comfortable shoe is frustrating, but my Merrell's have been comfortable from the get go. My happy feet thank you, Merrell!

Love these Merrell sandals, very comfortable. Mahogany color is like a rich chocolate, style is simple, but classy. Leather seems like very good quality.

Very comfortable sandals. Lightweight, well padded, the straps are wide enough and don't rub, can walk miles in them. Good looking too with very pretty trim. Great job Merrell and Zappos!

I love these shoes! I bought them before a trip to Southern California and was able to wear them out of the box and comfortably walk all day! The straps are soft underneath and really comfortable. My only comment would be that the sole of the shoe extends a bit long in front and would be more attractive if it was shorter. I\'m now a Merrell fan and would purchase more of this brand.

I bought these for as a gift for my sister. She reports they are extremely comfortable and wears them every day. She has a petite foot. The shoes look great whatever she is wearing shorts, capris or a skirt.

I just got back from two weeks in Tuscany and France. I walked everywhere, wearing my new black Merrell Bassoons everyday. I don\'t know that I\'ve ever had a pair of shoes that felt so good. Plus they look stylish enough to wear with slacks and skirts on the streets of Paris.

I wore these to a picnic and to a meeting with the executive admin with confidence. They are comfortable and stylish at the same time. Amazing find!

My sister had these on and I thought they were really cute so I had to get a pair! I bought them in the mahogany (dark brown) and they were so comfortable from the very start that I also bought them in black. There was no breaking them in at all. I'm going to Japan for a couple of weeks and I plan to bring these. I think they'll do great for walking around all day and keeping me comfortable. I think the only minor drawback is that they are definitely on the more casual side. You can get away with wearing them with a casual skirt, but I don't think you could dress them up enough for a really nice dinner out.

These sandals are great. They feel wonderful all day, look good-the color is subtle, but pretty. I wish Merrells made these in a navy. I would buy them.

I like these sandals a lot, as they are both comfortable to walk in and nice looking. The leather is very soft. They are among the few sandals that I own that don\'t give me blisters, even when I wear them on my mile-long walk to work.

A good, basic casual sandal for wearing all summer. These provide good support for a day of walking around.

I bought these in black and really wanted them to work out -- soft leather, good arch support and very cute for a flat sandal. I wear Merrell's clogs and love them, so was expecting to find these to be as comfortable. Unfortunately, they are quite narrow for a med, and too tight to take a chance on them loosening up with wear. Disappointed!

I just bought Merrell Bassoon in black. They feel true to size and are very, very comfortable. I am an 8 1/2 but always go 1/2 size smaller in a sandal, because of the open toe. I love Merrell shoes and never go wrong when I buy them. If you want comfort these are the sandals to buy has good support and hugs your foot. My order was upgraded and I received them the next day. I love Zappos, they always have what you want and they send them right out. I always read the reviews and they are a big help as to size and comfort. Thank you Zappos.
