For years I've been a big fan of Patagonia's Active Briefs. I liked them best circa 2010 when they had really fun patterns like poppy flowers. The last few years their patterns have not been very nice, so I haven't bought any. After a few years of wear, they are starting to stretch out and get saggy in the back. The patterns are fading on some, and there is pilling in areas where it rubs on clothing. Not a huge deal, undies are not meant to last forever, but at this price a pop you hate to be replacing them often. I was recently at REI and came across these and decided to try them out. I got the Bright Coral (which is really pretty). They look a bit more like standard undies (where Patagonia could pass as swim bottoms) but they were pretty cute for active underwear. I was surprised when I got home and washed them and wore them for the first time, to see that they were kind of big. I am 5' 3", 122 lbs. pear-shaped (usually a Medium, or size 6-8 on bottom) and bought these in Medium. These were a little looser than I'd prefer. I kept them anyways because they still work and who returns underwear? I came to Zappos to order another pair, this time in size Small. Size Small works way better for me. I never thought of myself as a Small on bottom, so this is something to keep in mind when ordering these, you may want to consider sizing down. Hope this helps someone! These are my new HG undies and I will be starting to throw out my Patagonias. Hate that these are so expensive, but I really like good undergarments.

Nice product. Just be sure to check it out right when you get it. I had one pair in an unwearable twist - must've been a factory defect - but didn't realize it till after I'd washed them & thrown out the labels.

I have 2 pairs and I love them. They would be awesome for camping or other travel. I purchased because I have a chronically ill child and I am overnighting in hospitals frequently (with no idea of when we'll leave). These undies have saved me during those stays. Highly recommend. I wash mine in the washing machine & hang to dry when I'm home, but hand wash in a sink when I'm in a desperate circumstance like I mentioned above.

These underwear are completely awesome. You wash them and they are dry in an hour. Great for traveling light, and very comfy too! Not cheap, but worth it.

After reading rave reviews about these briefs, I decided to buy a couple of pairs. I was traveling to a hot climate so I thought it would be great to have some quick drying underpants. They seemed to fit great, not too tight, just like I like them. However, once they got wet when I had to wade through water up to my chest, they started to stretch out. They served their purpose of drying quickly, but I suggest going a size down. I noticed this same thing on other Exofficio clothing I got. I'm very happy with the quality and performance. I'll just remember to buy the smaller size next time.

Overall, very comfortable panty. My preference and I'm still looking for them, are for hi-cut french briefs. Not bikinis, with the fabric and colors offered by ExOfficio. I wear these for sports and I like a leg opening a little higher with full coverage in the rear.

Funny writing that i LOVE these underwear but i have 8 pairs of the Give N Go Bikini Briefs and will order more when the Baja Blue color is back in stock. They are super comfortable, wick, and do not slide around. They actually provide a bit of tummy control too. A bit expensive but they have lasted longer than other brands I also LOVE the Give N Go Thongs too

I love these ExOfficio bikini briefs. Originally I bought a couple pairs for travel, and liked them so much for regular wear that I added a couple more. Then a couple more. I found that I need to size up one size . . . so beware. I wash in the machine and hang to dry. Once when I was sick I neglected to change my panties for 2 days and they still didn't have any odor. That sold me. Now I'm phasing out my all cotton panties as they get worn and buying more of these as they go on sale. Yay. I love them. MORE COLORS, please.

I love all the exofficio underwear. I've tried several styles, bikini, lace & brief and they've all fit beautifully and are super comfortable. I wear them for long days of hiking and running, and they wick beautifully and don't wedgie. Gradually I'm replacing every other pair I own with these. They might not be the right underwear for hot date night, but they're not so granny-panty that you'd be ashamed to wear them in any situation. Truly, the perfect underwear.

Yeah, this price is a lot to pay for a pair of underpants! But they're worth it--wash out in a flash, ditto dry. I travel with 2 white, 1 black. That's it. Comfortable stretchy but not tight fabric and elastic.

So I love the material but I like the band better on the sport version. This band cuts in a little too much. Agree with the other reviewers to order one size down. I’m a medium in everything but a small in these. What I really love about these is they cover my entire rear. I’m not a fan of undies that cut across the cheek, so these are great on that respect. But I’d buy more of the sport before I get these again.

Great coverage. Doesn't creep up. Lightweight fabric stays cool. Only downside is no cotton lining so panty liners don't stick very well.

Ladies, don't believe the hype. I bought two pairs of these in different colors only to find out that they do not work. I bought them for the anti-odor while working out, hiking or biking. I wore them to my kickball game and stunk so bad. I rarely sweat nor did I play hard...gross. Save your money.

I starting wearing these for hiking/running, but quickly ordered more and they are my everyday underwear. Alternated two pairs for 34-day Camino De Santiago and they held up great to everyday wear.

I have worn these underwear for years and absolutely love them summer, winter and fall. They wear well, wash beautifully and are great for travel and daily wear. If you ever have to wear them two days in a row, they rinse out easily and dry over bight.
