Bought this shoe for Zumba based on the reviews of others. I was not disappointed - this shoe is great for zumba class. Great for all types of movement - side to side, front to back, spinning, etc. Ryka makes great shoes.

Ryka's seem to be the Jazzercise shoe of choice for many so I decided to try the Transition -- and I love it! Secure footing, good support, and the pivot dot they placed under the ball of foot has helped me manage choreography I had previously thought I just couldn't do -- great shoe (and really cute)!

I got these shoes for Zumba and I love them! They are so comfortable and so lightweight. I also have the Ryka Studio D for Zumba, but prefer these much more. These have just enough support, but still have the smooth sole needed for Zumba. I highly recommend! These are also very true to size. I wear a 6 1/2 and that's what I ordered, great fit!

Great dance and zumba shoes. I also like them for the weight room and cardio equipment. Lightweight and flexible. Not great for a boot camp style class. I also got the Studio D and that has more support and will try that one for my next boot camp class.

This is the most comfortable shoe ever! I use it for the gym, mainly zumba. The shoe didn't need any breaking in and is suitable for my wide feet and bunions. Go RYKA!

Very lightweight and flexible. I was able to pivot and slide without being held back. I have tried 5 different styles and brands and most were stiff or too narrow. This one fit just right. As always, great service from Zappos.

Ordered these shoes while on vacation for Zumba classes. I was wearing my running shoes for dancing and my knees were killing me. I have Ryka running shoes which are good for running but not dancing. The Ryka Transition made all the lateral moves much easier and took the stress off my knees. They also have a nice wide toe box which is good for me, but may be too wide for those with narrow feet. That's why I chose felt wider than marked. I have a very wide foot and to find an athletic shoe with a wide toe box is a super find for me. The arch support is moderate but I use heel cups in all my shoes as I have had plantar fascists which then gives me all the support I need. I love this shoe and am thrilled with it and it looks good on as well. To top it all off, Zappos upgraded my shipment at no cost to me and I got my shoes in two days just in time for my classes. Thanks Zappos!

I had a hard time finding a good shoe for my zumba class, but I finally hit paydirt when I got the Ryka Transition. It is so comfortable! And I can move around nicely when doing my zumba moves. My feet are a little on the wide side, but the B still fit me fine. I highly recommend this shoe for both comfort and style.

I have tried several different shoes for my Zumba/Cardio dance classes, and these are by far the very best. They are extremely light, flexible, comfortable and breathable. I was thinking after my class last night that I need to write a review and if you are considering any cardio dance shoe try these first. I also bought the white because I like them so much. The best! And I don't usually make comments like that!

I purchased these shoes for Zumba and they work great. At first I wasn't sure but now that I have worn them a few times, they are my favorite shoes. My foot is narrow but the medium size is just right.

I bought these for outdoor hoop dancing (dancing with a hula hoop), and I'm very pleased with them. They protect my feet from rocks, sticks, burrs, etc., while still allowing airflow, thanks to the mesh upper. The dance-designed outsoles let me move and spin easily, and the light weight doesn't tire my legs out. And they just look cool (I bought the white ones). Definitely worth the purchase.

I bought this shoe for Zumba. It is nice and light,due to the mesh I suppose. It has good support and the sole is not too tall and chunky so you can move laterally with going over on the ankle. The pivot point is very good, however I would like to have had it a bit smoother. It is still the best Zumba sneaker I have tried to date, and I've been through 5 pairs of shoes, including the Bloch dance sneaker, the Zumba shoe, Asics enthrall and a few others I cannot remember. So, yes, I would recommend it for Zumba. I ordered it a half size larger than my street shoe and put in an arch support that I purchased from Zappos. Zappos is awesome, BTW.

I purchased these shoes for Zumba. They are excellent. Good traction and lateral support, and my feet don't hurt even after five or six hours of jumping around every week!

Perfect Zumba shoe. The mesh lets air in, so my foot doesn't get quite as hot. I always buy a half size up for exercise shoes and that was perfect for this shoe. As always, Zappos is perfect with delivery!

I have been wearing the Studio Pro Lows from Ryka since December. However, I felt that the weight of that shoe really was a problem. Not with the Transition. I wore them today for Jazzercise and what a difference! They are lighter than the Studio Pros and just as supportive and comfortable. Don't be deterred by the amount of mesh, it doesn't give at all and my foot stayed firmly in place. I would recommend adding an orthotic insert, as I did, if you have high arches.

Bought this shoe for Zumba classes. They arrived shortly before I left for class, so I put them on and worked out them. Got a lot of questions and compliments from other class members. These shoes were great - I have narrow feet, so replaced the insole with a more cushioned one. I also wore Thorlo socks, which made them even more comfortable. I was able to do the turns, spins and lateral movements with ease - we have a wood floor at the gym. I almost forgot I was wearing new shoes. My normal shoe size is an 8 but bought these in a 9 1/2 for better fit and comfort. Highly recommend these shoes for Zumba or other cross training events.

I ordered three different shoes to try on for Zumba workouts. I decided on these because of their flexibility, lightness and overall comfort. The sole design helps with all the turns and quick directional changes. Have worn them a few times already and they are working out great!

Great shoes for Zumba or kick-boxing classes. The Nike Musique was too narrow across the box for me. These are ample and provide the pivot you need to protect your knees in dance aerobic classes. The cooling mesh is nice too. I tend to buy shoes 1/2 size larger for running or classes. I wear an 8 and bought an 8.5 and I am happy with them. So glad I found these!

Bought this for Zumba but have worn it for everything but Zumba. Very light weight, breathable shoe. I have worn it to the gym and work.

Bought these shoes for Jazzercise and they are terrific. Bought my normal Ryka size and they ran true to size. They have extra padding under the heel of the foot. And they are really cute. Great shoes!

My Ryka shoes are just right for Zumba Class. They are comfortable and cool. Zappos is a great way to shop.

Great shoes! Very comfortable and good arch support for fitness classes and aerobics. I am planning to buy another pair in a different color.

I love these sneakers. I bought them in both white and black and use them for Zumba and other dance classes I take. I tried many different dance sneakers and Ryka fit me best, and are great for both dancing and working out.

Bought these for Jazzercise classes. They feel a bit wide, but overall very comfortable.
