I have worn regular Chucks for years and decided to try the slim version because they look less bulky. Shoes feel true to size but just a little bit narrower than my regular Chucks. I don't know if it was just my feet but one shoe did give me a blister so I'm going to need to break that shoe in. The shoes do look very cute though and feel a lot lighter than normal Chucks. I'll just have to wear a band aid on one heel until I break these shoes in.

Great shoes. Love the gray. It makes them less flashy, but at the same time kool. I normally wear a 9.5, but got these in a 9.0 and they fit perfectly. They are light, and roomy.

Very simple, low key stylish. Not much in the way of arch support and the white is pretty difficult to keep clean. I normally wear a 12, but I bought these in an 11.5 and they fit perfectly. They can run a bit tight, so be sure to loose the laces up before putting them on.

Great shoe. Wider than normal Chucks. Wish they sold them in 9 1/2. Will be buying different colors of this style.

I. Important: The "Slim" moniker refers to the sole only; the shoe itself is actually wider than standard Chucks! The toe cap is wider and larger than on the original model. If you are a style traditionalist, this may be a problem, but if your foot is wide at the intersection of your toes and the rest of your foot, congratulations! You just found a pair of Converse that might actually fit you! My foot is wide at that point and these are the only Chucks that fit me comfortably. II. Note that the one star for comfort applies to the unmodified original shoe. If you add a Superfeet 3/4 insole, the shoe becomes quite wearable. With the insole, I wear my Chucks all over NYC and on long walks with no problem! III. Shame they only make these in full sizes. I sized down and wear these with dress weight argyle and solid color socks. I can't wear them with standard weight athletic socks, but I think they look good with argyle. Kind of a nerdy style but it's how I roll. I wear the navy slim ox Chucks. My next pair will probably be the high top gray slim ox.

These shoes are very comfortable and look really cute. I usually wear a 7.5, and the 7 fits me perfectly, so order a half size smaller than usual.

Great sneakers, third pair to compliment my wardrobe. May buy more!! Great fit, highly recommend.

Famous Chuck Taylors. If you don't know what a Chuck Taylor is, you must have been born yesterday. Same shoe they have been selling for over 50 years.

What a great shoe! Back to the basics! They have a thin, flat, even sole with no arch support, no developed heel and a reasonably wide toe box. If you're looking for a casual minimalist shoe, this may be the pair for you. I'm a forefoot/Pose jogger who jogs in Vibram 5Fingers. If you like minimalist shoes, you will probably love the All Star Slim Ox's.

Love these shoes. I've always been a fan of Converse, and when I unexpectedly lost my old pair I knew it was time to buy a new pair. I saw the fact that these were the "slim" pair and immediately was excited, since with most of the Chucks I don't like the big sole. I love the slimness of the sole. I totally recommend these!

Shoes are great! Absolutely love them. They are very stylish, but the size runs big so I bought a 7 instead of a size 8.

Perfect fit! True to size. Slim Ox looks less chunky on my petite daughter than the Chuck Taylor All Star Ox. Both are great, just liked the thinner rubber sole better on a smaller frame.

I love this shoe, I purchased the charcoal color which is perfect for me because it goes with just about everything without it being a huge contrast difference. I first purchased the Converse Light Ox, I didn't care for it because it lacked the white stitching that I love about Converse, which make these slimmer shoes perfect. I felt they were true to size, seemed a flat when walking around for awhile but I didn't really mind it after awhile!

Great All Star. Usually wear a 10 overall and a 9.5 in Converse, so the 9 worked great as advertised.

Very nice sneaks, but they run small. My normal size is 11, but I had to go up to a 12 in these. Love the low-profile look.

I love these shoes! I got them because I was tired of wearing flats to work. They are adorable. They make a pair of shorts look cute and go well with skinny jeans. I am a 6.5-7 in size and I got a womens 6; they fit perfectly.

I bought these in the charcoal w/ red and blue stripes; a great-looking shoe! I'm a bit confused by reading the general consensus here that this style runs large, because I normally wear a man's size 12, but I had to buy these in size 13 because the 12 was too tight for me.

I love the color and style of these shoes (gray with red stripe). I usually wear an 8 or 8.5, and got an 8 in these shoes, and they fit great. The toe part felt narrow at first, as my pinkie toe was rubbing a bit, but after wearing them for a day, they must be stretching out or wearing in, because they feel better and fit great. I like the low profile style as well.

Great shoe that takes no time to break in. Looks great with shorts, jeans, and even fancier pants. I particularly love the slimmer look, since the originals were a bit bulky. Only thing to mention is that you have to buy a size down. I followed this recommendation before buying and the shoe fit perfectly.

I\'m still trying to decide whether I like the slim sole. I\'ve heard people say they like it and other people say it makes them look like clown shoes when compared to normal Converse. Right now I\'m leaning toward liking it. \r\n\r\nI wear them a lot and they\'re very comfortable and durable.

These shoes are huge. Order a full size down. Other than that they look and feel great. I get white shoes very dirty, very fast.

These shoes are soft and comfortable and much much lighter than regular Chucks. I love them. And, as always, Zappos is the best!
