Not much to say really. A classic shoe that has stayed true to its form over the years. I know what I am getting every time I order them. The best part, I order them from Zappos on Friday I get them on Monday. Truly amazing.

The shoes fit, shipped fast and free, and there was no hassle. I liked ordering from Zappos it was easy. :)

They were comfortable right out of the box. The soft suede feels broken in immediately. I love the feel, and the classic style.

I like Sambas. A lot. I already have 4 other pairs. (You should see the white with pink stripes, they are beauties.) Three of them are the classic with the long tongue that folds over and you lace down. I think I prefer that style. It keeps the shoe to more of a clog. Functional, but not confining. I did my best to fold this little tongue down (otherwise it just rubs against my leg.) But don't even think that I don't love this shoe too. I got the bluebird and white ones. Love the blue. Apprehensive about the white sole. Previously I have had the gum sole. This shoe comes with a warning not to wash it, but to let it get dirty. Haven't seen that on my previous sambas, but I also never considered washing them. Apparently the colors could migrate on these. It also comes with a nice pair of extra laces in the exact same color blue. Bonus! Yeah, it seems they do squeak a little for the first few weeks, but I think of it as they are just announcing that I am coming and have on a sweet new pair of shoes. Oh, break them in for a few days before you wear them for hours walking. They turn out to be amazing walking shoes after they get to know you, but you have to start out slow and become friends. They are nice, simple, no extra padding where it is not needed. Clean lines. Great stopping power if you are running and need to change directions, but I guess that is why they commonly used as indoor soccer shoes. Great shoe. Zappos has them at a really decent price. Good job Adidas and Zappos. All I could ask was to sell a larger.

Many years ago, I had the black version of these which were designed for indoor soccer. They are just as comfortable. The only difference is that they do not have the high tongue designed to accommodate shin guards. Not being soccer player, I see this design change as an improvement. I'm sure I'll wear out this pair (wore through the sole after several years) just like I did my original pair.

I always really like sneakers that don't have a lot of sole. Something closer to the ground but with some support. Sambas always do that for me. These are particularly comfortable as I often have trouble with my ankle bones in one foot or the other rubbing on the side of the shoe and these fit me well. I am an exact 6.5 US woman's fit with average foot width, and these fit great.

Slick design...tongue a little cheap/plasticky...runs a little narrow/tight fit-wise.

One of the best pair of shoes I have ever worn. The only other shoes that rival these shoes awesomeness were a pair of Reeboks from the '80s. The grip on the bottom is the best grip that ever kept me from flying off the earth and into space. They look great too, this one girl I know keeps telling me that she really likes my shoes, she is about a 7 out of 10 so I'm cool with that.

These shoes are great! I wear them all the time. So comfortable, and hardly took any time to break in. The tongue can poke into your foot sometimes, so be aware, socks help. Also they look awesome. I got a lot of compliments. Mine are red and I was worried at first that they'd be obnoxious, but they aren't too bright or annoying at all. Overall one of my favorite pairs of shoes.

I love these. They are very comfortable for long walks. I got an 8.5 because I like to have some room in case I need socks.

My order arrived in just a few days. The fit was perfect for my son. The size charts helped me easily pick the right size.

This is a great shoe and very comfortable. I had to order a size up as they run a little small. Other than that, they're perfect.

I love these shoes! For any true "Go Blue" University of Michigan fan these are a must! The fit is true, the colors are exactly as pictures and they are very comfortable.

The true old timer shoe that last and feel good to wear any time of day.

Awesome looking shoes, MAKE SURE to protect with suede protector, as they get dirty FAST.

This shoe is great. They are great for kicking a soccer ball around, or just walking around. I highly recommend them.

Love these shoes. First day I wore them, somebody stopped and asked where I got them. "Zappos.com"

I have the original sambas (black with white stripes) and they are totally my favorite. I saw these and loved the color combination and decided to treat myself. When I tried them on they fit great right away, no breaking in. The back of the shoe is a little high, so I was worried it would cut into my ankle, but it's padded well so you don't even notice it. The only drawback is the material they are made of and they stain super easy, but you would get that with any suede shoes. Great shoes overall, and of course Zappos is the bomb. I ordered them on a Thursday afternoon and they were there waiting for me when I got home from work on Friday. What a great way to start the weekend! Thanks Zappos!

These are great shoes. I really wanted a pair of Samba Nubuc, but Adidas no longer makes them, which is a shame. These shoes are really nice. They are very similar to the Samba Nubucs that I had in High School. These are very form fitting and are meant to seem a little tight. They fit like a glove though. I measured my foot and picked the size based on Zappos Sizing. The size was fine.

The shoes fit and look great. However, slight ding to Zappos for the packaging and handling of my package. For some reason (a promotion I was not aware of) a can of Red Bull was included in the package with my shoes. The can was separate from the shoe box, but loose in the shipping box. Owing to the bitter cold in the southeast, the Red Bull froze, exploded, and subsequently leaked all over the inside of the shipping box. Luckily the shoes were undamaged, but the can leaked through the shipping box, creating a soggy mess inside the UPS truck. In the future, if including a promotional liquid, please pack it in some secondary containment, to prevent damage to the purchase in case of explosion.

Very comfortable and cool old-school style! The only drawback is that they squeak when new!

Beautiful shoes, color is exactly how it appears on my monitor. The tongue is a little weird for some reason, but nothing out of the norm for Adidas. Also, remember these Adidas shoes tend to feel a little narrow, of course.

Sambas are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. If you like the style (unlike me, I'm a Puma suede fan), just buy it.

When I first put on these Sambas I thought they may be returned because they felt too narrow but decided to keep them because I liked the color and had hopes that the suede would stretch out to accommodate my just beyond D width foot. I\'m glad I kept them because now they fit like a glove. The fabric liner is a much better alternative than the non-breathable vinyl in the other Samba lines. There is no condensation of foot moisture even after wearing them all day. No sweaty feet. The only other issue I have is that I can\'t wear them on a rainy day.
