I am 27 years old. I started a running for the first time in my life back in march. I was training because I wanted to join the Army. I started developing pain and hurt myself. With a little research I discovered I had low arches and needed the correct shoe fast. I bought the New Balance 1012 and can't believe what I have been missing my whole life. This shoe is super solid, made in America, loaded with technology, and fixed my over-pronation problem. I am totally hooked. It even cleans up nice. I had dry mud and grass stains on my beautiful shoes and I just took some water and a scotch bright pad to the sides of the shoe and now they look like brand new again. PS: They fit true to size and the laces never come untied. I love these shoes!

Awesome shoe! Great support and keeps me from walking on the outside of my foot. Only problem is like all white shoes they are hard to keep clean. Wish they had some other colors. But I love the shoe and will be ordering these from now on!

These shoes feel great, highly recommended. My plantar fasciitis is almost non-existent when wearing these shoes.

Most comfortable sneaker that I have ever worn. I wear a 12 4E, and New Balance are the only sneakers that fit properly. This sneaker cost more than I would like to spend, but it's well worth the extra money. I feel very stable, yet they are very cool, and lightweight.

I'm a bigger dude, and can run in these shoes very comfortably. I have to be easy on my shins, but at least I can run in these. The Asics, Reeboks, etc. I tried were no go, but these work perfectly. Worth the cost.

I am a large runner that needs a motion control shoe. This is my fifth pair of these - the hold up great to the wear and tear and they are comfortable to go 10 miles right out of the box.

I have two new knees and these shoes are the best. A little spendy but well worth the results, This will be about my 10th pair over as many years. Zappos is simply the best at what they do.

Purchased these tennis shoes for our son who has a wide foot, 2D! They fit him perfectly, just as described!

This is a great shoe. I have flat feed and tend to over-pronate. The NB 587 has been my go-to shoe for about the last 10 years but I like this one even more. I wear a 14 4E so my choices are slim. Zappos is awesome too. I ordered them on a Tuesday with the free standard shipping and they were at my house the next day.

I immediately bought a second pair of these shoes, because they feel so good on my feet. I wear a size 10 4E and they feel true to size. They are also made in the USA, and do feel different from the shoes made overseas. I am thinking about ordering my third pair in three months, because I'm afraid they will discontinue them. Great shoes.

My 1012s have been great. Very solid, balanced, with lots of support. Comfortable right out of the box. My toes need lots of room, and the 2Es do the trick for me. Over the years I've tried other brands (Saucony, Brooks) but NB holds up longer.

Excellent support, stability, and comfort for a growing teen. He has very flat and wide feet, and these shoes allow him to run without pain. Awesome!

I have flat feet which leads to severe over pronation, so I generally have problems finding shoes that provide enough support. These shoes are one of the favorites I have found. They have great support even when running. They feel very comfortable and even look good doing it, which isn't necessarily easy to find in a shoe designed for people with problem feet. Thanks New Balance for a great shoe and thanks Zappos for being a great company to do business with.

It is extremely difficult to find shoes that fit my left foot as it was crushed in a car wreck. This is the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned! New Balance is one of only a very few brands I have found that offers a variety of widths and lasts to accommodate my foot problems. Zappos' carries the full line of their products.

This is the best New Balance running shoe I have bought in a long time! Fits perfectly and the support is wonderful! It is worth every penny. Great job New Balance!

Sneaker is very comfortable and I was pleased with the wide width that I got. Would recommend this sneaker for an active outdoor person.

I have been running in the Brooks Beast for about three years. I switched to the NB 1012 because I found it difficult to find size 14 in the Beast and I was ready for a change. I found the NB 1012 very comfortable. It seems lighter than the Beast and still provides ample support. I'm still running with the Beast, but I'm happy to wear this shoe as well. This shoe doesn't feel as rigid as the Beast, and I found that to be a good thing.

I have bought many pairs of New Balance shoes in stores, always purchasing a size 11 4E. I felt comfortable ordering this size but shoes received are a full size too big, and width is more like a 6E. I will not attempt to order running shoes again.

I bought these for my husband & he loves them. He felt that they were great for people who need average arch support.

I recently suffered a foot injury (plantar fasciitis)and if any of you have ever suffered from this you know how painful it can be and how long it can take to fully heal. I bought several pairs of sneakers and other shoe inserts to relieve the pain. I kept one set of shoe inserts and I kept the New Balance MR1012 sneakers from Zappos and returned the rest. The MR1012 was 100% as advertised and I wear them all the time when not at work. It's hard to find a product that does exactly what it advertises to do. I am 100% satisfied and would highly recommend them to anyone with heel or arch pain and those with healthy feet as well!
