These were a gift to my mother who loved them. She thought they were very comfortable and at 72 liked to be wearing a stylish disco silver shoe rather than one that looked like you needed a prescription for them.

Finally a fashionable shoe that is comfortable, yet supportive. The hook and loop feature allows a wide range of widths to be adjusted for a custom fit. This is my fourth pair of Mephisto Ulda sandals. I am a teacher on my feet all day. These shoes make the grade all day wearability!

Love this sandal! I have arthritis in my feet and so far these have been great! I am considering buying them in another color.

I wear size 5. Right shoe is a bit wider, but I don't know if my foot. But I don't have problem with other brand. When first wearing them, the Velcro and sewing seam on top scratched my feet. I trimmed them with a pair of scissors, then, they are OK. I won't call these shoes are stylish, but they provide very good arch support.

These shoes are not comfortable at all on my feet. I think that they are kind of cute, but I have worn them twice and I wish that I had not purchased them.

I bought these because I had pain in my heels when getting up in the morning. They are super comfortable and after wearing them around for a day, the next day the heel pain was less. I give them a four for style because despite the fancy leather options, they do look a bit like Birkenstocks with heels. They were true to European size, I wear 38 or 7½, but 38 was given as 8 online, so if I would have bought according to the American size they would have been a bit small. Overall I am very happy with these shoes.

Loves these shoes. Usually wear 7.5 W or WW and the 38 is perfect with adjustable width. Bought the dark taupe and get lots of compliments, even from my 13-year-old daughter. Saving to buy another color. Worth the price.

I can always depend on the quality of anything I order through Zappos. The Mephisto sandals are perfect, comfortable, stylish, and I receive a lot of compliments on them.

This is my second pair of Mephisto Uldas. I first purchased the black last year. I have a high arch and the 2" heel feels real comfortable. My favorite shoes. I also bought the Bregalia which are lower and softer but not as comfortable as the Ulda.

These are incredibly comfortable. The straps are soft and padded. I have a wider left foot but these are adjustable so they're perfect and pretty. Excellent arch support. They are worth the money.

These sandals are not only so very comfortable to walk in all day,but also very stylish. Patent leather in the summer is just beautiful. Wonderfully fitting footbed, excellent workmanship, adjustable straps, what else would one expect from Mephisto. 5 stars!

This is a cute shoe that's also comfortable. The new soft Mephisto insole is great! Got the silver color first, then ordered the black after wearing the silver to a long wedding and reception.

Excellent brand - these sandals look nice enough to wear for dressed-up occasions but are truly comfortable walking shoes at the same time.

So comfortable right from the first step! These will be the shoes I do a lot of walking in.

These feel so good to walk in, like a slipper. As comfortable as a sneaker. The adjustable straps are great. The pink color is very flattering.

This shoe has a LOT of Velcro - perfect for the retirement home but a bit too old lady for me. Thanks Zappos for the great return policy!

This is a lovely shoe and can go with several colors. It is comfortable also and fully adjustable. The shoe is very similar in feel to Finn Comfort. Styling also very similar.

These sandals are comfortable, but not stylish. The straps are too wide to wear with anything dressy. Paired with jeans, they are fine. With a dress, they look terrible.

These were great until I purchased a new sole insert. I wore out the original one and purchased an "official" Mephisto replacement sole insert. It was so uncomfortable that I stopped wearing them. I finally purchased a second insert and had the same problem. It felt bumpy and hard under the ball of my foot. I finally cut some foam shoe inserts into a custom size and put those under the Mephisto insert. They're now acceptable, but I would be wary of wearing them for serious walking.

I bought these sandals in black and like them so much I wanted another pair in beige which, according to the description, the "light sand boa" is. Unfortunately, the pattern is very definite with brown and white as well as a cream color. The sandals, therefore, will not "work" for me. Hopefully Mephisto will make them in a solid (not patterned) beige nu-buck or in plain beige leather.

The bottom of the overlap on these shoes rub the top of my foot. They need to go back to old style of these shoes with a solid strap! No Velcro! I have 14 pairs of them! The old style is the best, not these!

I miss the Mephisto mobils in Ularia. I have 2 decade-old pairs in bronze and black leather. So comfortable, supportive, and versatile. These ones were far inferior in quality and style. The velcro is really noticeable and awkward looking, especially in the materials and colors/patterns offered. They don't even have them in black leather.

So sorry to be returning this shoe. I have never tried this brand. It ran a little narrow in the foot bed, and the shoe was too plain. Not as I expected.
