I just received these today. Gorgeous! They were a little loose, put on a pair of socks (which I usually wear with boots) and perfect. The leather is very pretty & great style. I am 5'7" and weigh 155. If you have thick calves, these boots will not fit, they are for fairly slim people. If you think they might work, take the chance, you won't be sorry. Not a lot of arch support, so if you're looking for that, these won't work. Size feels about a 1/2 size too big.

This is the best cognac color of leather tall boots ever in my life! The color is amazing and eye catching! You will never be able to find this color in tall boots in any brand, I promise since I have been researching almost all my life and own 100 pair of tall boots. This one is really so gorgeous and beautiful more in person. I got numbers of compliments from all strangers on the streets and stores, restaurants, anywhere I went with these boots. I found later these boots were sold out anywhere in stores, especially this Cognac color first. I was so lucky I could buy earlier in Zappos, as I was always fun and research first in Zappos online. I thank Zappos; they gave me super fast shipping - 2 days - and I could bring them in my suitcase for international travel and wore them in holiday season in stylish city there! I will keep these boots in great care and hope to keep all my life!

This boot was comfortable the first day I wore them and I have very sensitive feet. I hope the company keeps making them and does not change anything except maybe the calf was a bit large for me. Great boot! And as always Zappos is the easiest way to shop!

I am very pleased with these boots. I wear a 10 and they are sized the same as 2 other pairs of Etienne Aigner boots that I have bought over the years. The brown is a very rich chocolate color and they are 'walk in all day' comfortable with just enough of a heel not to look too flat. They are really a riding boot style with enough detail to give them some flair with slacks or skirts.

Classy, elegant, and comfortable! I've been wearing these boots since last November and they have become my go-to boots during the cold winter months. They look great with skinny jeans, casual dresses, and skirts. The slight heel gives it a dressier look, but I cannot emphasize how comfortable they are (I wear 7.5 and these were true to size). I got them in Cognac and initially ordered them in dark brown as well, but decided the cognac has a much more beautiful shade that matches dark jeans perfectly for the fall/winter look. Obviously, they aren't boots for snowstorms, but they do withstand a fair amount of snow and rain. Great for slimmer calves, too! Now the next quest lies in finding a pair of summer shoes that can pull off elegance and comfort as well as these do!

LOVE these boots. They are extremely elegant and look high-end. Quality! I am petite (5’4”) and have slim legs and had trouble finding boots with a narrower shaft. Many others ended up looking like rain boots because of how wide they were. These are perfect. They are gorgeous with skinny jeans as well as skirts. If you are worried about the shaft being too tight, I would still try them. I’ve had them 3 months and they have stretched some to the mold of my legs.

These boots are great! They fit perfectly and have a nice narrow circumference that fits my calf perfectly. I tried on SO many boots that were too big and didn’t look right. I’ve been looking for brown, flat boots for a long time, and was so excited to finally find the right pair. Also, the suede interior is really soft.

I have shopped everywhere looking for boots that fit my criteria and narrow calves! With all the helpful measurements on Zappo.com, I was able to narrow my search and when these boots arrived they were more fabulous than I had hoped for! Love the service at Zappos and love my boots!

Zappos service is wonderful! These are the most comfortable dress boots I've ever owned. As an equestrian I am very familiar with quality boots but typically dress boots are a disappointment. These are not! The quality and attention to detail in these boots are impeccable and the fit superb.

This is quality leather. It has a stiffer feel and look. There is perfect shaft height. I wore the boots with a knee length black knit dress. I think the boots would look better with a long skirt or pants.

These boots are it! Classy styling, super leather and very comfortable (no need to break in!). Shaft width is just excellent. Can highly recommend this boot! The search is over!

Classic. I just received these boots in the mail today (thanks Zappos for quick shipping!). I've been looking for a riding boot in this color for a while now and the Vira in Cognac is perfect! At first, I was a little hesitant to purchase this boot because of the embossed logo and buttons in the back as I usually prefer something more simple and plain, but all this detail is what makes the boot look very unique and definitely classic. Plus the zipper is so convenient as I can easily get this boot on and off without worrying about stretching the beautiful leather. I am quite petite (4'11") and this hits underneath my knee, which I am perfectly fine with. I usually wear a size 5.5, but I got it in their last size, size 6, which I'm glad I did because with socks, the fit is perfect, not too roomy, nor squishy for my feet. I have somewhat thin calves and I can see why people who have wider calves would have a problem wearing this since it is a bit narrow. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and cannot wait to wear these!

Perfect! The marathon hunt for the perfect brown boot is over! These were true to size and didn't gape at the top. The ankle doesn't make you feel like you are wearing a pair of Welly boots either. They are very comfortable - I wore them Christmas shopping all day and didn't have a problem (with the boots anyway!). Look great under skirts and dresses. Lovely. And Zappos ships quickly.

These boots are gorgeous and so comfortable! They are the perfect flat boot and look so chic. I bought them in cognac and have been searching for the perfect flat boot in this color for 3 years. I finally found them and love the embossed ensignia on the side. They are sharper than any other cognac/camel colored boot I have seen.

I really like these boots. The color is a gorgeous rich brown, and the details make them special. They are a little tall, and go right below my knee, but I am only 5'5" tall. I do wish they were a little shorter, but other than that, they are true to size and super comfortable. The heel height is perfect for walking all over the city or shopping all day. A great pair of boots.

I adore these boots. The leather is of good quality in feel and appearance, they are adorable with skirts and tights, and they are very comfortable. At work I am on my feet much of the day, and wear these without any problems. They fit me well, as I have rather thin calves, but there is no way I could fit jeans inside them. If one has muscular calves then I would not bother trying these. Overall I am extremely pleased and enjoy wearing them.

This boot is fantastic. I had issues with some other styles that were too big around my calf. These are perfectly proportioned and the leather is high quality. They are comfortable and are great with skirts and tights or skinny jeans. I like them so much I bought them in brown, too.

These are wonderful boots. I love everything about them! They were supremely comfortable from the first minute that I put them on.

Gorgeous, but tight. These boots are beautiful: understated, classy, and a great shade (cognac), but they are quite tight around my reasonably slim calves. Fitting a pair of jeans inside is difficult. The foot bed isn't very cushioned, either, but since they run about a half size large, an insert would work perfectly. I'm very sad to be returning these boots.

I love these overall. The only issue I have had is that where the leather transitions over the Achilles heel, it rubs a bit. Thicker socks solved the problem. I have pretty slim calves, and I like that these don\'t leave big gaps at the top of the boot. Comfortable even with lots of walking!

These boots are beautiful. Hard to find the right width, though. And the zipper broke on mine after just a few months of wear.
