My husband bought these for me last week. They are beyond gorgeous if you enjoy some glitz. Needless to say they are made with exquisite precision. I ordered a size 7. Usually I wear a 7.5. My Phyllips Fryes are 7.5 and fit perfectly right out of the box. These are a bit more snug. They hug my heel, which is unusual in any shoes since my heel is narrow. There is some special padding around the heel in these boots that makes them just right for me. I have yet to graduate to wearing them with socks. I am still breaking them in. I can tell that after a few wearings they will be perfect. The look of these boots is truly a delight. They will go with many outfits, and if I have the nerve I may just wear them with a fancy dress to a gala or black tie affair. They are pricey, but Zappos had these on sale! I was fortunate to get the last pair in my size. They have a more-or-less pointed toe, but they still have enough width and enough room in the toe box. This is quite important to me. If I cannot wiggle my toes I won't wear the shoes. The zipper is almost hidden. It goes up the side of the boots, making it easy to get them off and on, even with a high arch, which I have. They are loose in the calf. My calf is about 15", and there is plenty of room for tights or jeans. The heel is a little higher than I prefer. I think that the great support that these boots provide will compensate for the heel, which is 1 " high. I prefer something less than one inch, but these don't seem to trouble my back or my gait. I am 71 years young. Can't wait to see the pop in my granddaughter's eyes when she sees them. The Frye Website had these for a lot more than what I paid at Zappos. They arrived a day after they were ordered. Great service.

I bought these boots a month ago, but the weather was too warm for boots. So the minute the temperatures were low enough, I whipped these babies out for a day on the town. People literally gasped at the sight of my bejeweled feet, and pleaded "Where did you get those boots?!" I have a lot of great shoes, but these boots, probably more than any other, inspire the most envy from my friends! I bought an 8.5, which is pretty normal for me, and wear them with thick socks to keep them on and provide some extra cushion. These are my first pair of Fryes, I just bought my second, and I know there will be many more joining my shoe wardrobe in the future. With Frye, you get a lot of good boot for the money!

I have had my eye on these boots for over a year. They arrived today, and they do not disappoint. The construction of these boots is expert. The style is exquisite, and the versatility is unmatched. I already tried them on with jeans, shorts and a sundress. All look perfect. My only regret is that I took a year to make the decision to purchase. They are well worth the price. I will wear these for many years to come. They are timeless.

These boots are to die for! The look alone is worth the price, but that's just the beginning. These boots are comfortable right out of the box, the leather is substantial, yet soft, the studs are out of this world, the color is perfect and will go with everything. The boots have a great feel to them and by that I mean they feel great on the feet and they feel amazing in your hands. Be sure to order 1/2 size down and be ready to receive compliments!

Okay, ladies, this is the most beautiful boot I've ever had the pleasure to wear. They are absolutely stunning! (Pictures don't do them justice!) They fit by skinny calves beautifully with just the right amount of room for jeans or leggings. The quality of these boots is amazing and for me they run pretty true to size (I usually wear an 8 or 8.5 and the 8 I ordered fit me perfectly!). Get these while you can!

Fabulous boots. Unique. They rubbed my toes slightly the first time I wore them and I thought I had made a costly mistake on size but they just needed to be broken in. After that first time they were very comfortable. You will get a lot of compliments on these boots.

I’ve owned a studded Deborah boot for 6 years now, and they were my favorite. I resoled them once because I wore them all the time. It was time for a new pair. Frye boots never disappoint. If I were to change one thing, I prefer a pull on boot and not a zip.

LOVE LOVE LOVE but they have to go back, very small tops, unable to zip them up...so sad

These are wild, fun boots. I don't wear a lot of boots, so to me these felt quite stiff and hard--I'm sure all real cowboy boots are like that. I did find them a bit small and a bit narrow (I have wide feet). I sized up half a size, and probably could have gone up a full size.
