Although these are really cute shoes and the length is true to size, they run narrow. Wish they would fit since they are so stylish, but really hurt a wide foot.

Ordered an 8W and this was a perfect fit. I usually have to go up in size because the wide sizes in any decent style are hard to find. These shoes are so comfortable and stylish. I cannot say how much better my feet feel at the end of the day compared to lower heels that I have been wearing. I am going for the black also because these shoes are so comfortable and stylish. They look great with a skirt and sweater, not just with slacks.

A beautiful shoe, but I really needed black, not brown. Felt more like a narrow that B width.

These are among the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, and I have very difficult feet! Plus, they're darling. I only wish they came in several other colors...I'd buy them all!

These are lovely shoes but they must be sized wrong. I ordered 6 1/2 but these are at least 1/2 inch too long. I am returning them but the Clarks I have rec'd that are similar are a wonderful fit

These shoes are comfortable and sexy! Such an unusual combo. I immediately told my friends about the "Fitzwell" company. I hope to purchase more of their shoes in the future!

This shoe is adorable. The black leather is not as shiny as in the picture which is a good thing. My first pair of Fitzwells, and I love the gel pads in the soles. Great to find current fashion trends available in wide.

Fits very well. Even with the heel. I feel sturdy in them. True to size.

These shoes are extremely comfortable. I wear a size 10 and purchased these a half size larger since they appear narrow. That was the best decision I could\'ve made. I am on my feet all day at work and at the end of the day, my feet are fine. This shoe is classy. It looks great with my jeans. I can see them working equally well with dress up clothing. Well worth the cost.

Elegant. Classic. Perfect heel height. The heel tips are plastic; I re-heeled with rubber tips for better grip.

I generally don\'t like Fitzwell as I find the heel pad annoying, but I like these. They are comfortable, and the WW is truly wide. A stylish shoe.

I typically purchase shoes for durability, comfort, and conservative style. I was able to wear this shoe right out of the box all day without blistering or discomfort. I really like this shoe and purchased it in brown as well. I wear an 11B in women's sizes; shoes can be tough to find. I'm happy to report that Fitzwell may be another shoemaker I can enjoy.

Super cute with moderate heel. 1st day out of the box wore them for 9 hrs. Look great with pants.

Beautiful shoe, and quite comfortable for my teaching job.

Very comfortable and true to size. Laces are a bit stiff and don't stay tied tight for long periods. However, the comfort and style far outweigh any laces issues.

I dress in vintage styles all the time, but though it ranges from Victorian through the 50s, I usually go with 30s-40s styles, for which this shoe was perfect. I am the kind of girl who rarely wears heels because they have almost always been uncomfortable. The only heels I tend to wear are for dancing, specifically made by dance shoe companies (not a fan of Capezio, though), but they are not made for and do not hold up for street wear. These shoes, while not having the absolute best arch support, at least had moderate support and nice padding in the ball of the foot. The chunkier heel made it comfortable to stand on for long periods of time - something that doesn't happen in most brands for me for shoes over 2" in height. The heel is sturdy as well, so I don't have to worry about rocking (I have weaker ankles and arthritis in my knees) or uneven weight distribution, or that pesky problem of heels snapping when dancing. I've even lindy hopped in these shoes, and they held up great!

This was a new brand for me but I love the shoes. They are beautifully made and extremely comfortable.

This is the 1st time ordering a Fitzwell product. Looks and feels great. A little higher in the heel than I planned but, still acceptable. Love the style.

My feet will not fit in a European-sized shoe. These are the most comfortable right out of the box shoe, fits me right and looks show-stopping. Had someone stop me in the hall today -- need I say more? I hope to be buying their boots next.

Last winter, with trepidation, I purchased this same shoe in brown. My concern was that its price is much lower than I typically spend for shoes in my larger size, 10.5. I was thrilled with the shoes! In addition to looking like a much higher quality shoe than the price would indicate, it is incredibly comfortable and it held up so well. I tried to get it in black last year but it wasn't available. Now it is, and I'm really looking forward to having this amazing shoe in both colors.
