This shoe runs a little long but it plenty wide. It is so hard to find a shoe that is actually wide especially in heels, so if you need a wide heel order these just in half to one full size smaller.

I found these shoes to be both comfortable and stylish. They did hurt during the first try out, but after that occasion, they fit as smooth as a glove. I guess one has to get used to new shoes as shoes more or less mold themselves to foot shape and size.

Very nice shoe. I normally wear a size 8.5-9 shoe. I ordered the 9 wide initially but found it too large. This was my first time shopping with Zappos and I was very pleased to find how easy they make it to exchange.
I ordered the 8.5 wide and received it very quickly. It is still just a tad big but much better. The shoe is quite comfortable. The only thing to watch out for is that it isn't a pure brown color. It has hints of a very deep copper color and black. Very pretty just not pure brown.

These run really, really large! I normally wear a 6 1/2 or 7 wide. I ordered these in a 6/12 wide, and they were falling off my feet. They were so big, I'm sending them back for a 5 1/2 (if they have it). I've never worn a 5 1/2 in my adult life! Other than that, they are really beautiful shoes! They are a really nice shade of navy, and the lines are good. I'm hoping the 5 1/2 will work, because I really like them. The reason I gave them four stars for comfort is that the sides of the shoe near the ankles seem to rub a little. Other than that, they seem as if they would be very comfortable.

Needed shoes for my son's wedding this summer. Live in Alaska but in Arizona now and thought shopping here for dress & shoes would be a snap. Dress was easy but what a process for shoes! Could not find shoes & believe me I looked. Nothing comfortable for less than $290. Decided that was too much for my one time wear. Ended at Zappos started with Sofft Portland but my little shoe kept falling out. After reading reviews, tried Fitzwell Vincent. Took 3 shipments before finding the right size (these shoes run big) & width but finally have the right shoe for a very affordable price! Love all the sizes & widths and your customer service is amazing! First but not last experience with Zappos!

This is a very stylish and pretty pump.I ordered the black patent. I read all the reviews saying they run large, so ordered 3 different pair (10, 10 1/2 and 11) all in medium. I usually wear an 11. All were too small so will reorder. I think the comments about how large they run apply to wide widths. I would order your usual size or a half size up if you are a medium width.

I have a hard time finding stylish shoes because I need a C or wide width. I often have to compromise style for comfort but this shoe has both. I tried many black patent leather pumps recently and came back to Fitzwell because it was the most comfortable. I am very pleased with this shoe!

Purchased an 8, exchanged for 7.5 (I am in between sizes and these run a bit large). The heel area was still too loose. I do not have this problem with other brands, and it was true for other Fitzwell styles I tried. Adorable - just did not work.

Shoes were a little big and could tell I would "walk" out of them so will need to return them. I wear a 9 or 9.5, depending on the shoe. These are 9.5 wide. Not shiny as they look in the photo. Little disappointed in that as the sheen made them look a little dressier.

As other reviewers stated, this shoe is much larger than the size indicated. I usually wear either an 8 or a 7.5, so I ordered a 7 and the shoe was huge! I wound up ordering a 6.5 and it fit fine. I have no idea when I ever wore a 6.5! The shoe is incredibly comfortable and stylish and I will be ordering it on other colors!

I am a military officer and after 8 years of wearing the uncomfortable synthetic heels from the uniform store I decided I wanted a pair of patent heels that didn't kill my feet. I ordered 11 pair of conservative black patent heels from Zappos and Nordstroms to try (waaaaay easier than driving to a large enough store). The pros for the Fitzwell Vincent: I like the slightly squared toe and the width of the heel that gives more stability. Cons: in both the size 8 and 8.5 the edges of the shoe dig in at my arch and along the sides while at the same time my heels come out when I step. The Fitzwell Vincents are pretty shoes and would work with conservative or classic outfits, but sadly I found them painful to wear and difficult to walk in. These are going back.

These are very nice shoes. They are just what I was looking for; a low heeled, conservative pump. The fit runs a little large. I originally ordered a 7W and had to exchange for a 6½W. The only negative is the horrible outgassing smell of the material. The description said it was leather, but there is something funky in that shoe box.

I ordered the Bone Diamond Snake version in 9.5W, and these flopped when I walked. I could fit my thumb easily behind my heel, and I measure between a 9.5 and 10 (10.125" for largest foot). Returning for 9W. Otherwise, very happy with the shoe. I am pleased that these were leather uppers - it's not specified per shoe and I missed the stamp in the photo. And they are soft and not as rigid as I had feared from the slight shine they have.

Considering that the only shoes I can give "5-stars for comfort" to are tennis shoes, a "4" for comfort here is a very high rating for me. I would give it a 4.5 if possible. Toes just a tiny bit narrower than ideal for comfort, but that does give it a slightly more feminine look than wider-toed shoes. Heel is perfect height for me - a little height and femininity, but sturdy enough and easy to walk in. I'm going to order additional pairs in other colors.

I read the reviews that this shoe runs big so I bought the smaller of the in-between sizes of my feet. They were snug. I was also concerned about the fact the the "patent leather" had no label on it to say it was made of leather. If it's leather, it says so. When it fit super snug and didnt' say made with genuine leather there was no chance it would give to fit comfortably. That said, if it does fit your foot, I would imagine this to be a great shoe. The padding is impressive. It is a little shinier than I imagined, but if it's your style, you would be pleased.

These shoes are cute, the color is going to be very versatile and they are fairly comfortable as heels go. My only gripe is that they are really really big. It almost seems like they are a half size too big. I tried them on hastily and didn't realize the poor fit until after I already wore them outside, so I'll have to find some gizmos to wear in the shoes to make them fit better. For reference, I generally wear 8.5W. If I had to do it all over again, I'd order 8.5M and 8W to see if I could get a better fit. In a nutshell, good pair of shoes but you may need to experiment with different sizes to get a good fit.

I ordered these in 2 colors - the black kid and the brown croco. I wear an 11 M - and generally I think my foot tends to be more narrow. But these are a bit on the narrow side in general. The brown croco patent is absolutely gorgeous, but was very tight and narrow, I think because of the patent material. It had no give or stretch. Had to return them. For whatever reason, the black kid fit nicer and better (still a smidge narrow) but I think will stretch just enough with time. Decided to keep the black kid. Love the heel width and height, it is not too dowdy, but low enough for tall girls and interviewing.

These are nice basic pumps with a good-size heel, but like many pumps, they gap on the sides. My feet are somewhere between a 10W and an 11M, and I ordered these in a 10.5W. I think the problem with the fit is not the overall length but where the arch hits. This is a common problem in heels. These fit better than the J. Renee pumps because they come up higher on the sides, but I think I will try a pair of the Munro American pumps. I ordered a pair of their walking shoes and they literally envelop my feet, so I am banking that their pumps will fit well too.
