These are amazing! They have changed my boyfriend's life. I am not exaggerating. He suffers from cold toes to the extreme despite warm socks, slippers and he just ordered an electric foot warmer because he was so exasperated at always having cold toes while he works! He wished for warm toes for his birthday when he blew out the candle, and then I gave him these. He can only wear them inside for the most part, save trips to the garage and such, but when he does his toes are warm and toasty! Thanks to all the other reviewers - I was going to buy down booties but he doesn't really have much of a need to pack them and some I've worn have thin insoles that make them colder than you'd expect, so I decided on these based on the reviews. And they came through, all the way! It was fantastic to be able to do this for somebody I love, amazing how it worked out.

Glorified slipper, not really boots to wear outside in bad weather. Unfortunately I am stuck with them now since my daughter wore it outside and found out it is not waterproof. Have to spend more money to buy real boots.

I bought the booty to keep my feet warm inside my house during winter months. It has performed very well and keeps my feet comfortably warm. The sizing chart is accurate. I wear a size 10.5 running shoe and the XL booty fit just right. I tried on my GF's size Large and my toe touched the end. Overall, I am very pleased with the warmth and comfort.

My dad had a stroke 7 years ago. He's 93 and his left leg swells due to circulation problems and normal shoes won't fit. These slide on easy and keep his feet warm. the sole also helps prevent slipping. There great.

Very poor construction and very limited durability make these good for occasional use, but worthless as regular booties. My fiancée and I took these on an extended snow camping expedition, and after two days of morning and evening use the pull tabs had come off and the drawstring sheath had started to separate from the body of the booties. After three weeks, the cuffs had come off of of our booties, fabric was fraying, and the foam pad of the sole was poking through at the corners. This was after only using the booties on snow - I would expect that use on rough wood floors, rock, or dirt would be even harsher. The design is also a bit disappointing- cold leaks from the joint at the sole/side interface, where there is little insulation but lots of exposure to cold. Not well designed for cold-weather use. Very disappointing. Nice if you are only planning on using it a few times a year, but not the best choice if these will be a regular tool.

I really love these! They are as comfortable as bedroom slippers, light as a feather, and keep my feet warm and dry!

Comfortable and warm. I would buy again. Only reason for 4 stars on comfort is that the toggles in back sometimes bother the back of my legs when my feet are up in the recliner.

First - the positive. They are very comfortable and keep your feet and ankles warm. If you want pretty colors, be prepared to pay about $30 more :( Now the negative. Order one size larger than your normally wear (I wear a size 8 and wear a LARGE in these booties). These are designed to wear inside the house; wearing them to walk down your driveway to get your paper or mail will wear out the soles in a couple months. And they are not waterproof, so wear in the shower at your own risk...

Baffin is the best if you want to stay warm. Don't even bother with any other brand, especially boots. These are great for around the house, running out to the garage, or in a tent where comfort is key. The sizes do run a bit small in this item, so order on the bigger side of the chart.

The Baffins mark the end of a two month long search for some camp booties to wear around the house. I am disabled and suffer from chronic cold feet. I thought that if I could find some down booties I could solve the problem. I ordered down booties from REI and other vendors and couldn’t find a pair that fit or would stay on my feet. I ordered three different pair on e-bay all with similar results. The Baffins came up in my search results often as I shopped but I always overlooked them because they aren’t down filled. After so much effort and so many failures I decided to try them. My winter boots are Baffins and I love them so I thought they were worth a try. So far I’m very pleased with the booties. I am using them with Hot Hands charcoal toe warmers in them and they get pretty toasty. Before I was disabled I was a backpacker and I can confidently say these wouldn’t be great for that. They do make a great slipper. They stay on my foot, there warm and comfortable. They are very wide and very large, to the point of being funny but I don’t care, I just want warm feet. I score them low for style but high for warmth. I think they are warmer than thierbdown filled competitors. Overall I love them. Not sure how they will do in the durability department because they don’t have a rubber or plastic sole. I’ll try to do an update in a few months to see how they hold up.

Only used indoor. First pair had 13 years, size extra large. My shoe size is US 10. This time l purchased the large size, snug but comfortable. Pittsburgh, I wear them fall, winter and early spring.

These slippers may not be cute, but wearing them is like walking on an effing cloud. Incredibly comfortable and cozy. I know these are meant to be used for more than just slippers, but I got them to keep my feet warm this winter in my chilly house. No more cold tiles. Well, the tiles are still cold, but my feet never feel the chill when I am wearing my Baffin slippers. Another bonus is the slip-resistant bottoms. I can't tell you how many times I've taken a header on my staircase. No more wipeouts or falls down the stairs. These are some bad arse house slippers. I love them.

My feet get cold easily. I use these for winter wear around the house, getting the paper, etc. They are excellent for lounging around indoors and would work well while camping or other winter activities where you don't want to wear heavy boots once the day is done.

My wife loves the booties. How she married me with cold feet I'll never understand but these booties have really warmed her heart. I buy her booties about every three years because from December to March she wears them all the time at home (we're heat frugal) and these are the warmest yet.

While this boot is attractive and extremely comfortable, I had expected a sturdier sole, capable of supporting perhaps two season's use for short outdoor errands and on-campus use while teaching. The soles are soft, will wear through easily, and not support walking on outside paved surfaces, even for short periods. The rubberized "grips" on the sole have no traction on smooth, wet floors, and are as slippery as flip-flops on wet tile. On the other hand, they make great alternative bedroom slippers and are good for going outside in deep snow to unwrap the dogs' ties, when they go around the oak in the back yard. These boots are a good buy, if they're what you want, but they don't quite meet my needs.

Good old comfy "camping" slippers! Great in a pine forest, not water proof or really very water resistant but that isn't what they are made for. To keep your tent clean while keeping your feet toasty warm these rock! and they pack well!! although they do have a sole so cannot be rolled up, they still do not take up much room at all for the amount of comfort they provide! and for cold winter nights these are great inside slippers as well! Love my boffins and always have a few on hand!

My husband loves these boot/slippers. He wears them indoors as slippers not outdoors. He wears a size 10 1/2 shoe however we read the reviews and decided to go with the 2xl size instead of the large. The fit is perfect. The boots/slippers are great, he loves them. Very comfortable and warm. Zappos is the best!

Even in LA the floors get cold, so I got these even though they looked like overkill. Turned out to be perfect. Easy to slip on and off but don't trip you like clogs or slides, and the warmth goes above the ankle which is a good thing. No slip soles and top and ankle tighteners (like you'd have on a winter coat) are perfect.

Okay, so I'm super anal - i ordered both the Baffin Cush Booty and the Baffin Base Camp in small and medium. Here's the deal: the Cush Booty runs smaller than the Base Camp. My foot measures exactly 6.5 womens. The small Cush Booty was just a wee bit too small - sort of stretched out the boot. But the small Base Camp fit snug but with just a little room, enough to wear with socks. The Cush Booty bottom was super thick and soft - you could take the bottom and start rolling up the whole boot if you were overnight camping and needed space. The bottom of the Base Camp was more rigid, but still cushy and comfortable.

I wanted a simple, lightweight boot that I could put on quickly. These fit the bill. When worn with an insulated sock, they keep my feet nice and warm. They have trouble staying on in deep snow though because instead of standard laces, there are drawstrings. All in all I like the boots, especially the very light weight.

I suffer from cold feet. Slippers have not been enough. These do, in fact, keep my feet warm. I've only used them around the house. Would also like to try something like this for around camp at night but I think they're too bulky to pack in my pack. Down would pack better but then, I'm afraid of the down getting wet. And I gotta assume you'd feel every rock and branch through the sole while you're moving around base camp. I digress, these have been great so far for my original intended purpose-for use indoors.
