I was disappointed as I had a pair of very similiar Baffin boots for over 7 years and they were great. I ordered the same size, but there was no room for wool socks. I tried the size 8, but it was very clunky and stiff. Both returned

My foot size is size 9 but I ordered a 10 as recommendation from Baffin website that if the boots are -100, order a size up. So that's what I did. My foot has low arch, not on the narrow side nor wide either. So I guess mine is plump? I wear boc boots that are friendly for my feet. Since it will snow terribly in Indiana, I want boots with good traction and can be for deep snow. These boots are snug because of the liner...until now I'm trying to figure out if I just need sometime to break them in. Thick socks don't work and with thin socks, my foot is sliding in the boots. They are not heavy but clompy. I wanted to have arch support so I bought superfeet black (recommended for low arch). I first remove the liner from the boot. It was so difficult to remove the liners so I had to fold the outer part of the boots and pull/twist as hard as I could to get them out. I placed my non-bendable superfeet and that's a challenge too but I was able to by folding down the sides of the liner first. That's a lot of work. How I wear them now is using thin crew socks. And with the superfeet insole, it feels so much better when I walk. Kudos to the zapponians (customer service team)! I love them!

The pictures don't capture how HUGE these boots are! The calves are incredibly wide! I had to work to fit a pair of stretchy flared jeans over them, which then of course looked ridiculous. I doubt my snow pants would even fit over these. There isn't much give with the clips to secure them tighter around your calves, so you can't skinny them up to fit under pants. However the inner liner was quite snug and comfortable, and they seemed incredibly warm. Overall they seemed like too much boot for even a cold Michigan winter!

The boots are warm and functional and pretty good looking for snow boots but the buckle broke only two wears in. It seems like quality was overlooked in manufacturing.

These are way too short. I am size 7½ with narrow feet, but I usually buy shoes size 8 or 8½ for extra space and comfort. I ordered size 9 yet, it is heavy and the toe hurts. I am contemplating whether I should order a size 10 or 11.

These are extremly comfortable and warm boots! But I should have returned them for a smaller size. I wore them outside just once and I felt like others were looking at the overall size of the boots, so I should have exchanged them for a smaller size as I doubt I will wear this given they feel too big.

Just rated low since I am used to the Sorel Caribou type boot. Just wanted to try something different. This was nice and light but felt like a moon boot. Just a different style that's all because it is otherwise super quality. Just personal preference opinion.

I bought a pair for my husband and myself because they were rated very well. I am a grandmother who doesn't wear them very often but am raising grandchildren so on the rare occasion I go outside to play with them I get very cold so I e=wanted something warm. I purchased these and only wore them a handful of times and I was at a church sled riding party took a step and they ripped out on the whole side. Just WALKING in the snow. I notified Baffin and they woud NOT DO ANYTHING. They offered me a 15% coupon off another pair and never sent it to me. I contatced them 3 times and still never got a coupon. There customer service is TERRIBLE. OI wouldnt buy anything from them again just because of that. In the past I had an issue with Merrell boot and a wolverine. Both companies replaced the boot immediately.

Horribly sized shoe. My feet are length 7.5 yet I wear 8 or 8.5 for extra space and comfort in the winter. I had an exchange coupon and used it to get size 9. Too short! My toes hurt just putting them on. So I exchanged it to size 10 which came in one day for VIP customers. Still too short. My feet are skinny so the rest of the feet were fine. You can also pull the strap thing to make the calf part tight. Many people complain these shoes have too much space in the calves, but people with skinny calves like me can just pull the strap hard. Shoe is a little bit heavy since it is for ultimate warmth and the inner lining makes it feel snug. However, size 10 was still toe-aching for my 7.5 length feet. I am told that only 1 exchange is allowed and I can either keep the size 10 shoe or return it back to the store without getting the coupon back. So now, I'm going to have to dump these shoes in the trash and there goes my coupon. Feels at least 2-3 size short in length.
