These are the best boots I've owned, hands down! I've lived in MN and WI my whole life, and I know what makes for a good pair of boots. These are warm, lightweight, keep your feet dry and are tough. No, you won't see them on a runway at a fashion show, but I have had several women comment on how much they like them... so even though there are no sparkles or fur, they're still attractive. I've had mine for a year now, and they're still looking great. Many of my family members own Baffins and will replace liners every 5 years or so, but several have pairs of boots that are 10+ years old. This is a quality product that I highly recommend.

These boots are great for what they are snow boots. They are not for the bars or a fancy night out. They are so warm and padded that you don't need socks even when shoveling after those nor'easters. They are also not for long walks, they are quite heavy. But for shoveling and apres-ski, they are perfect. They are also completely waterproof and have that tie at the top so you can even be out while it is snowing and your feet will stay dry.

I think these are true to size but they are going to feel a little snug when you first slip them on because Baffin is pretty serious about keeping your feet warm. The liner in these boots means business. At first I thought it was going to be a pain to put these on over my pants but now that I've worn them a few times, they seem to stand open like a pair of old fashioned Sorels. They're not quite step-in boots but it doesn't take a chair to pull them on. The buckles are cool, I feel like I can cinch everything down pretty well. They slip up on my heel a little but I have wide toes and narrow heels so it might just be my mutant feet. The boots don't rub my feet raw with the little heel slip though, I might even consider show shoeing in them. Overall, these are great boots. Bomb proof. My feet are always cold these days so I wore them in my treestand, my dad's feet froze but I was fine and I wore normal socks. I'm looking forward to plowing snow and such with warm feet. If the liner holds up to continuous use (I'm cautiously optimistic about that), then I think I'll order an extra liner from Baffin's website because I don't see the outside of these badboys breaking down any time soon.

I purchased these for a gift for my friend who goes ice fishing and works outside. She LOVES them. They are very warm and LIGHT, comfortable and have a built in gator. She does use them with a heated insole. The first time ice fishing she didn't use the heated insole and after 30 minutes her feet got cold. She put the insole in and her feet stayed warm for the 6 hours she was out there. She got a whole size larger for the extra socks and insole which worked well.

These quality of these boots are amazing! Unfortunately I will have to send them back since they run a full size smaller. I order size 7 (usually wear 6.5), but they feel like they are a size 6. They are also very bulky so if you are looking for something that will keep you warm and dry no matter how they look, well. These are your boots, they will definitely do that for you. I will recommend these boots to anyone.

Too small, and my heel keeps rising up, so my foot doesn't stay in place. Returning them because I'm not getting 11s. That would be huge!

These looked ridiculously huge! I am a utility forester and have to walk around all winter in the great outdoors of Illinois. I was looking for a replacement to my old boots. I read all the positive reviews on these and thought they would be perfect. They were comfortable. If I just had to sit on the couch and slip these on, they would be perfect but they are awkward and impossible to walk in normally. The straps do not tighten well either. They just looked like Frankenstein boots! Also, there is so much padding that the 9 was too small! I normally purchase an 8.5! No thank you.

Ordered a 1/2 size larger. Heel kept slipping but yet my toe bumped end. The seam was weird in the inside by the toe also. I was disappointing after reading all the great things about Baffin. I bought these after finding out that Sorel's were no longer made in Canada and had been bought out by Columbia. They are now made in China. I thought I would try these after my expensive Columbia boots didn't even last a year. I will say the Baffins have a great feeling liner...just weird seam and didn't fit right.

Amazing fit, super cute and easy to secure with minimal hassle. I love these boots. I wear a 7.5 in heels and ordered these in an 8 and they fit fantastic. Better without a thick sock. You won’t need them in these boots.

These are hands down the WARMEST boots I have ever owned and worth every penny. I grew up in MT and have lived in WY for the past 30 years. Winters here can be frigid, but I also need to get outside and enjoy nature. I originally bought these for standing around at my daughter's nordic ski races as my feet were freezing just standing in one place in normal winter boots and my Baffin's were up to the challenge. I continue to use them as my "extreme cold" winter boots (it's currently -26 here). They are perfect for snowmobiling and everyday wear, but are definitely a little too heavy for walking long distances or snowshoeing. Not a fashion statement by any stretch, but if you want to keep your feet warm, these are THE boots!!

I love my boots. They are lightweight, hold up well in the frigid weather we have up North here in Alaska, and are very comfortable to wear. Would recommend them to anyone wanting to keep their toes warm.

I bought these boots for snowmobiling and ice fishing in northern Ontario and they\'ve been great. -20 F and standing on the ice for hours and my feet stayed warm. The fit seems good. They are bulky and a bit heavy, but that\'s the price for warmth in those temperatures.

If you have seriously cold winters and need to be outside for hours - these boots are awesome! Not that I would call them fashionable, but I bought them a few years ago and used them during a record breaking New England winter and never were my feet cold. Even when we had snow banks higher than the house and we were outdoors for hours shoveling (my husband also got a pair that year). Hope we don't have another winter like that !

These boots are amazingly warm and cozy. I live in Minnesota and would never trade them for anything on those truly cold winter days or when there are giant piles of snow to walk through. They're a bit unwieldy for commutes in the city if it's not severely cold or snowy. They're not ideal for long walks and they're pretty heavy and clunky. They're not "casual night out" kind of boots. I think the boot itself is about 2" longer than my foot with the insulation. Amazingly warm, great insulation, but you have to know that's what you're getting them for.

I went up a full size from my street shoe and it was almost impossible to get my foot in them! Then once on, the ankle was really baggy since there was no straps to tighten it. They run very small and narrow. I do not recommend these.

Best boots I ever bought. Feet still got cold sometimes but rarely. Made me brave the northern winters. Easy on and off. Looked cool, if a bit much.

Kept my feet warm 250 miles from the Arctic Circle, in March, standing on snow and ice at night 5 hours shooting the aurora borealis. Took 3 hours on the ice at night to feel cold enough to stamp my feet. Bought 1 size larger to accomodate thick wool boot socks and liner. Comfy and cozy. Highly recommended. Great for dog sledding and snowmobile too!

Shoveled in snow many times and always kept my feet at a comfortable temp for hours. Just shoveled in the blizzard of 2016 from 11 am to 5:30 pm and are worth every penny! I was climbing through snow piles and no snow ever got in. They are a bit heavy and bulky but I'm used to them now. They do a great job in the cold!

Love the boots, they seem very warm and just what I needed in this cold climate but they run small. I usually wear an 8-8.5 so I ordered a 9 but my toes feel crowded and my heal slips when I walk, so I am forced to return them.

Not the coolest looking boots I own. I feel like I should be dancing to jamiroquai and voting for Pedro when I wear them. The are very comfortable and warm. Easy to take on and off. No laces! 2 clips and a drawstring top. I did call Baffin and they suggested ordering a size up. They were right. I wear a 7, but that was too tight so I ended up with an 8. And that's not wearing boot socks. Glad I bought the boots. They're my go to shoes here in Buffalo.

These are the warmest boots I have ever owned. I am outdoors shoveling, walking my dog in our woods & backyard which most times has at least a foot of snow & snowmobiling. My feet were consistently cold no matter what socks & boots I wore. My old boots (Quest & Colombia) did not keep my feet warm and my toes would be numb within 15mins. These boots keep me warm and they feel really cozy inside. I ordered my regular size & did have to send back for the next size up. They are a slight bit bulky but that's to expect with any winter boot. I would definitely recommend these boots if your feet get cold easy.

I don't see why so many are complaining about the shoes running a size smaller, unless they are men who've mistakenly shopped in the wrong department. I wear a size 8, I ordered an 8 and it fits perfectly, even with thick socks. They are amazing as they keep my feet dry, warm and comfortable. It's been a very cold winter here in Michigan, I ice fish every weekend and my feet have been happy, happy, happy. They're the best boots that I've ever owned!

Excellent cold weather boot. Toe box runs slightly small due to insulation insert. I ordered one size up and it fits well. I do have a wide foot, however, in regular shoes a medium width fits. This is a clunky boot, but not too heavy. The insulation insert is super comfortable. Perfect for walking or snow shoeing in very cold temps. They are also waterproof. They each have two sturdy clips for easy entry and exit. Do not attempt to drive in them. They are just too big for that.
