My wife and I started doing the C25K running program. All I had was a pair of clapped out Adidas running shoes. I wanted/needed something with more cushion. I was looking at some of the other brands of shoes that have a shock type system, but the prices were a bit high for me. Then I saw the K-Swiss tubes and the price was right and the look was awesome. I can't say enough about how comfy and nice these shoes are. Highly recommended, I tell everyone I know to get a pair.

This is a phenomenal shoe. This is the first K-Swiss shoe that I have ever used, and I can safely say I will use no other brand of running shoe again. Stylistically, this is an angle from K-Swiss that I had never seen before - and I love it. In terms of performance, the tubes enhance my running posture, and the mesh top keeps my feet cool. I have been able to train longer and harder in these shoes than anything before. They are terrific quality.

These K-SWISS shoes are amazing! Can't stop raving about them. From the color to the technology, it's fundamentally sound inside and out. There's ample cushioning where I need it, like at the heel and forefoot. The Tube's breathable upper hugs my feet comfortably and limits unnecessary foot roll. The spring-back effect I get from the outer sole gets me in the right running motion and helps reduce fatigue in my legs so I can push myself a little bit further. The color(s) are bold and aesthetically pleasing. Overall, the Tubes 100 is nice to look at but even more fun to run in!

I have run about 60 miles in these shoes and find them comfortable and easy to run in. The fit is good. My wife also has a pair and she is a serious runner, running and winning 100 mile races Massanutten 100 as well as Sawtooth 100 first female in both, so her training is extensive. We both like these shoes but I find after a long run of ten or more miles I need to change out of them or the top of my toe starts to rub a little but I have orthotics that are thicker than normal and I think that is the cause. As for Zappos, they are a great site had the shoes the next day, every time less than 24 hours. Have had to return shoes and was no problem at all. Thumbs up for Zappos.

Loved the shoes and it arrived when I expected it. My only complaint is that it wasn't the color I expected. I was expecting yellow but the color was somewhat fluorescent green.

Overall, it's a decent shoe. It feels a lot lighter than other shoes I've had in the past -- mostly Nike and New Balance. The mesh is nice, and keeps the shoe cool.
One note -- I ordered 4E, but the shoe only comes as wide as 3E. That worked for me (barely), but it's something to consider.

If you're looking for support, don't get these. If you're looking for shoes that feel like you're walking on a cloud, these could work. Kenny Powers endorses them, he isn't a real person, so don't expect to have performance like a real running shoe. Basic logic. But I bought them because of Kenny, and I'm happy about that.

So far I like these shoes. I would describe them as more flexible than an Adidas Bounce but more structured than a Nike Air Moto. They are approximately one half size longer than the comparable Nike running shoes. They are listed at Zappos as 4E width but the box states 3E width. If K-Swiss offered the Speedster or Tubes 50 in 3E I would try those as well. I would prefer a solid color black to the fade.

The shoes are very comfortable for running. It has proper width, height, everything. Though, I think that the quality of cloth used for the netting looks cheap and is not comparable to what you get with Reebok or Nike.

These sneakers are marketed as running shoes, but I could not stop wearing them since I got them! Very comfortable and lightweight. I replaced the insole and made them even more comfortable. I've got compliments on them too. Good job K-Swiss! 4.5/5.

I really wanted to love this shoe, but the lack of cushioning in the forefoot was painfully apparent. I know, it's not advertised as a cushioned ride, but 'frying pan' comes to mind when trying to describe this shoe. Additionally, the 'tubes' felt kind of mushy at the heel...not cushioned, just mushy.

Really cool-looking shoe and comfortable as well. The mesh upper over the toes was stretched out on one of the shoes, causing a pointy 'elf-shoe' look that wasn't consistent with the photos. I had to return them.

Shoe was nice. Loved the idea of the different sized tubes for different areas along the foot. Problem: You felt the tubes through the footbed causing uncomfortable pressure points. Really disappointed in the shoe. Had to return to Zappos. No issues or hassles there. Thanks for making the return a smooth transaction Zappos!

I was not impressed at all by these shoes. As soon as I put them on and started walking around I wanted to take them off. Granted, I only walked around with these on and did not run in them. They may perform better when sprinting. Coolish look. True to size. Cons are the ball support to the point of it being uncomfortable walking around (ball in front part of foot behind the toes).

I loved the shoes. They fit well, were comfortable and offered good cushioning for my size. I am 6'4" at 230lbs. The down side is that an unruly seam in the toe area rubbed my toe till it bled completely through the shoe. It was a manufactures defect and Zappos replaced them immediately. I love Zappos.

Terrible. I bought these based on the hysterical Kenny Powers online ads, but these shoes suck. I strapped them on and walked around the apartment and my left foot literally fell asleep and started to tingle. Also the graphics on the shoe did not match the pictures on the site (the location of the K-Swiss logo on the side).

Love them at first but they really broke down quickly. The tube the hit the ball of my foot caused a pressure point to numb two toes! Once I was back in some New Balance, I got the feeling back. Contacted K-Swiss to see if these may have been defective.
I'd also recommend:
Go with New Balance for Wide Shoes! Hopefully K-Swiss will make this right.

Lots of room in the toe area, but doesn't seem to do any harm. The tubes on the bottom mean only half of the surface area that could be touching is--but the grip is good because the rubber is really sticky. One exception I've found is the urine soaked tiles near urinals are as slick as glass wearing these. They also have knobs of rubber on the end of each tube to help you cut, and a few of them got ripped off playing a few games of basketball on a plastic grid court surface. I'd buy them again, but watch your footing around urinals, and don't play basketball on a court with a plastic grid surface.

20 miles in them. I am a neutral strider. KS Tubes size 9 felt a bit roomy in the toe box but things settled nicely. Lacing technique is so important. The best thing to do with these and any other running shoes is: after a few runs throw away they thin insoles that come with the shoes and replace them with your favorite sport insoles. A thicker insole helped with the roomy toe box and that was the only worry. They felt good right out of the box so after a little extra money for good cushions you are set. The tubes are quite breathable and are cool in cold weather. I would say if you perspire a lot then these are probably super nice for that and are good for warm weather as well. Though durable enough I will not be going too far off of groomed paths or pavement with them strictly due to their mid sole to tread design. Even my Adidas liquid ride pick up debris! Tubes feel really good on pavement and grass when you can find it. I hope to get 200 miles from them. Good price and Zappos is always very prompt.

I had been looking for shoes for about 6 months and finally stumbled upon these amazing shoes. I use a leg brace to walk around and it's very hard to find shoes that fit over the brace and that look good. These shoes are the perfect fit because of the mesh material and the eee size. I also fit down in them like a glove and don't walk on the backs like I did with almost every pair of shoes I purchased for the last 10 years of my life. Definitely recommend this shoe!

Had a previous pair of these and loved them. Decided to use Zappos since they had a much better color selection than I could find locally. The footprint of these shoes is weird but they are incredibly comfortable on the soles of my feet.

My son orders these shoes all the time and loves them. I decided to try a pair - I might say here that I am a woman. I just have a horrible time finding shoes that fit me since I have very wide, flat feet so I have frequently been forced into wearing men's shoes. I found that, although the average width that my son wears seemed quite wide enough for my feet, for some reason, I have to return these because they are way too narrow for me!

Zappos was fast, easy, and convenient. The Tubes are a great shoe; flexible, light weight, and shock absorbing. I bought them for greater impact resistance on the Elliptical and they work fantastic. Great service and a great shoe.
