I just purchased these shorts for my husband who is 47 and from the old school. He like his shorts above his knee and he doesn't like shorts with wide legs. These shorts are perfect for the man who likes shorter shorts and not so loose around the leg. They fit him so good that I am ordering him 2 more pair. You have to make sure that it is the straight fit and not the regular fit.

They must be Irregular or defects because they do not fit like they should. I had to send 2 pairs back because they did not fit at all, the replacements fit a little better but not like they should. I still have a couple pairs of original 505's and they seem like they are better than these new ones. In my opinion these might say Levis on them but I don't believe they were made by the Levi's Company. (It's a shame the product sucks because Zappos does have excellent customer service!)

The old school fit of these shorts speaks for itself. I'm so glad that regular fit is still available. This is my first experience with Zappos and I am extremely pleased.

I bought these shorts for my husband through Zappos because I couldn't find them in our local stores or through Levi's themselves. He is very loyal to the Levi brand and loves the fit & durability of these shorts. We definitely recommend these Levi's shorts. I am so thankful for discovering Zappos. Have been waiting for this product which is made each January and was contacted by Zappos the item was available (but not by other email shopping sites). Received this item in 20 hours of ordering. Wonderful service for a great item.

I couldn't find this particular brand of Levi shorts in any of the local stores. I found them at a very reasonable price online. My order arrived the very next day! I was so pleased, and I will use Zappos again when I need to make a purchase online!

I own other 505 shorts and these are much shorter than the others. Moreover, the denim feels a lot thinner than those made in the past. I would have kept the shorts had they come down a little further on the knee. (I'm 6'4 and these fit me like boxer shorts.

Hard to go wrong with a pair of Levi 505 shorts. This is the second pair, having almost worn out the previous pair. when I first inquired about buying this pair, they were out of stock. So true to Zappos promise to let their customers know when on hand, it wasn’t but a few short days an email was received and the order placed. The fit is great, the color great and they look great. Buy them!

These Levis denim shorts are of a nice weight material, medium weight, legs are not too wide...only issue we had is there was a defect in the color, albeit a small area, right on front of one leg; still quite noticeable. I returned them, received refund immediately... I am about to re-order another pair as my husband really liked the look and fit of these shorts; nice shorts, very good price point...would recommend.

I purchased these for my husband, and they really are great shorts! Excellent fit - not tight, but not too loose, and a bit shorter, which looks much better than the long, baggy shorts that have been in style for so long. He finds them very comfortable. They're a tremendous value, as well - the same shorts are $45 at Levi's. Thanks, Zappos!

Nice fitting - medium weight denim. I wear a size 32 in both levi's 511 and 501 - and a 32 in these were spot on. The leg width is just what I was looking for - relaxed but not sloppy, and not skinny. I can do slim jeans but slim shorts don't do it for me. These are just right with a slightly tapered look.

This company goes above and beyond in customer service !! Sent the wrong size , responded to a phone call immediately !! Remedied the situation on the spot !! I highly recommend Zappos !! Will order from them again !!

Some Jean shorts have such wide legs they look like a skirt. These have a trim leg that is comfortable and flattering. Hubby loves them!

Perfect, I’ve bought these short for 30 years

Fit was perfect for me, style and comfort was what I expected.

My husband stumbled on a pair exactly like these and he really liked the way they fit (as did I), so I hunted specifically for this brand, style and fit. They aren't too long for a guy who is only about 5'9" like many shorts are. The regular fit looks less baggy overall. The fabric seems durable as one would expect from a pair of Levi's. They've washed and dried nicely for the first wear.

The size was correct and fit perfectly. I love these Levi shorts. They are like they once were, very comfortable, good fit and material felt great like it did a long time ago.

Got these for my Dad, who only wears Levi's jeans. He loves them, and other men at his retirement community wanted to know where they could get the same. Ordered same size as his regular 505 jeans, and fit perfect.

My husband loves his levi shorts and jeans, he has been a levi man for 50 years... I bought him the dark wash, it was great, I think these are a little shorter than last years, but not too short, maybe an inch shorter... I can't say enough nice things about Zappos, they are even fast in this pandemic, when everyone else is sloooower! I came back to order more of these levi shorts for my husband (I only ordered 1 pair, as I thought they had changed some, i.e. straight/regular...) they are out of stock in this finish, in my husband's size, but they will notify me when they are back in stock! Thank you Zappos for carrying the levi size and styles my husband needs, we always can count on ZAPPOS!!!!

The jean shorts fit great and so comfortable. I have another pair and I have always thought they looked nice and felt great. Nice price !!
