This jeans did not fit me or my body type at ALL. I am 5'4" 155lbs, curvey shape (boobs and hips) littler waist and this came up too high and were just tight overall. I ordered the 8 and the 10 and neither worked for me. :( I was hoping these would fit great as I loved the weight and feel of the jean but... not for me will keep shopping for the right jean fit for me.

These are fine but I was expecting a pair like the black ones I bought last year which are a bit "heavier duty" and look like they cost a hundred bucks. These blue ones just aren't as "dressy" as I'd like and I'm actually sorry I didn't return them. I wish NYDJ would say which style it is on one of their tags inside the jeans so we could buy the exact same one a year later. It's frustrating to play the guessing game when ordering online, especially at these prices.

NYDJ is not what it used to be. I am very disappointed. This fabric, which I chose for how dark it is has a shiny very synthetic look to it. For the past couple of years, I find that different styles fit very differently and I have a hard time finding the same jeans that I loved the previous season. My problem - but why can they not use a durable fabric for the pockets? All of the pockets on all of my NYDJ jeans disintegrate just as the jeans themselves are getting to that perfect worn look. I am returning this particular pair because they are thin with too much stretch which must have something to do with the shininess.

Ewww. These are getting returned. I say this as a fan of the NYDJ Janice leggings. These are not straight leg jeans: they are super baggy in the thighs, to the point of making me look saddle-baggy-y. Unlike the Janice cut, the belly on this jeans does not lay nicely and firmly, but lays in an unflattering way that makes my belly look bloated. Not a nice look. I ordered in a size 4 as well, which also fit, but it really didn't improve the situation. Plus the inseams are not precisely cut. They are anywhere between 33 and 34 inches, but not exact. These are just poorly cut jeans. =( On the plus side, they are nice and stretchy, very soft.

I have this pair of jeans,in black and Indigo; they are too short, I have a 34 preferably at 35; inseam, the waist is too high and the sides stick out, I have no curves on my sides. I need a straight slightly more slender fitted Jeans, Do you have a model that would fir me?

Beware--the fabric content is NOT as stated in the description on the web site. If that is important to you, the fabric content of the jeans I just received is 98% cotton and 2% spandex, (not 96/4) and not nearly as stretchy and comfortable as my NYDJ jeans that are 96/4. I sent them back.

I love NYDJ and so I was willing to spend this much on a pair of jeans. But these are crap. The material is thin. The worst part though is the fly - it pulls apart. No matter what I do. I'm so frustrated with this pair of jeans. I've never had a pair of NYDJ that did this or fit so poorly or felt so poorly made. Boo hoo.

I love NYDJ but this purchase was very disappointing. The material is thin and when stretched does not maintain denim color. Additionally, the fit is off and the second time I wore them the fabric flap over the zipper started to pull and no matter what I do (iron it, suck in my gut) it bubbles out. I feel like I spent money on a pair of jeans I can only wear with a bulky sweater to hide the zipper issue. I am very disappointed.

I have about 12 pairs of NYD jeans/crops. My favorite are the heavier fabric. I am a little over 5'9" and 150pounds. I am a 12/14 but in NYD always a 12. I need the 33 inseam. I matched style numbers and ended up with these. Nothing like the ones I was trying to match! I have athletic, but slim legs, these jeans were sooo tight they felt like another size smaller and the contrasting bright gold stitching and large rear pockets made me look huge! Too tight and turned me from slender to lumpy. They didn't fit like other 12's but length seams true. Color wasn't attractive. They are going back!!!! The new fabrics are lighter. This weight seems mid range for NYD. Their new styles are disappointing.

For several years I have worn NYDJ jeans and love the styling and cut. I like that the pants have a high waistline which is hard to find in other brands.
Unfortunately the last 3 pairs I purchased have been poor in quality and just plain unwearable. Here are my reasons:
- Even though I bought 1 size smaller and they are skin tight, by the end of the day they are stretched out and sagging.
- To keep the jeans fitting tightly I must wash them every time I wear them. Though I follow the washing instructions, after 4 washings the elastic gets ruined and puckered up, especially in the crotch area which looks just plain weird.
-These are the most recent pair of dark blue denim jeans I bought and are just ugly. The fabric is very thin and looks more like a navy twill. I wish NYDJ would make some jeans out of classic, quality , non-stretch denim....pants that actually looked like denim jeans. With the NYDJ supporting fit technology, non-stetch would hold and support the body very well.
- There no longer seems to be much standardization in sizing. In stores I have tried several pairs of size 2 NYDJ pants and they all fit differently. Some I can't even pull them over my hips, others are baggy.
Again I love the styles and fit technology but quality needs to be improved on the fabric and sizing.
