I dumped the Merrells. They did not have the needed ankle support. I bought these and within a few hours my feet were feeling better. The arch support is better than most shoes on the market today. I am willing to say a little better than moderate arch support, but more would be great. If you get these take a really good look at all the stitching. The right shoe's tongue has stitching falling out. P.S If Keen designed a shoe that supported rolling ankles with arch support in soccer, tennis shoe, and a work shoe, you would have me as a customer for life.

Holy cow! This is my 4th or 5th pair of KEEN shoes, but it's the first time I have tried men's shoes. This pair of shoes is absolutely perfect! I tried them on this morning, intending on just wearing them around the house until I was sure I was going to keep them...well it took me about 2 minutes to be sure. I wore them to work today, and they were so comfortable. Really. Wow...just Wow. I love KEENs, and these did not disappoint! Zappos as always was spot on in both service and delivery.

Tried a similar style of Keens from an REI a few years ago and wore them constantly, from city walking to hiking trails. Decided to order these after a few years without wearing Keen shoes and immediately wished I had bought them sooner. These shoes are great for me.

This is my first pair of Keen shoes and the fit was great. They were comfortable from the first time they were worn and they look great with jeans. And the Zappos delivery was great - overnight as always!

Great shoe. This is my 2nd pair. So comfortable and hold up great. Last pair lasted 4 years of near daily use!

Excellent shoes! I bought them for work and have been wearing them every day since I got them. I work on concrete as an aircraft technician. I've been wearing them for over a month and they don't show any wear yet. This is my second pair of Keens. My other pair is Finley and I love them, also.

Really comfortable. Can't beat Keen for comfort. Zappos is amazing as usual. Ordered at 11 am on a Tuesday and the package was on my doorstep on Wednesday at 5:30. And it was free shipping. Hard to find companies like Zappos that have amazing customer service.

I'm on the second pair of these. These shoes are just awesome. I might buy 20 more pairs and be set for life. :-)

Like all of the Keens that I have owned or own, the Briggs II feel great! Right out of the box, the fit and comfort are what I always expect and get from Keen. Shipping from Zappos was spot on as usual, had my shoes the next day. Anyone who is on their feet all day and needs a comfortable shoe, Keens are the way to go, and get them quickly from Zappos!

I work in a pharmacy so I am on my feet all day. These shoes are absolutely the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Arch support is outstanding and the insoles are wonderful. They are a nice mix between casual and professional. The first time I wore these shoes was an 8 hour shift at work and they needed no break-in time. Strongly recommend for anyone who works in healthcare or any other field that requires you to be on your feet a lot.

I have worn Keen's for years for casual wear. I was looking for some new shoes for work when I found these and thought I would give them a try. I work 12 hour days on cement and seem to break shoes down before they wear out. I've had these almost a month, and they are much better than the cross trainers and casual dress shoes I've worn in the past. I already know when it is time to buy again, and I'm quite certain I'm going with keen. I wish they would offer the utility/service shoes in larger sizes, like a 15.

On my second pair, these are great shoes, I'm only buying Keen from now on. Perfect support, good reliability. Physical Therapist says they're the best also.

Warm & comfortable. Nice tread on the sole, and good for Fall, Winter & Spring conditions. Having broken both of my heel bones, I find Keen footbeds provide the support I need and help ease the pain.

Love Keens! These are typical. A little stiff out of the box but they don't take very long to break in. Keep it up Keen.

I am extremely happy with these shoes. I had a severe pain on my foot for which a surgery was recommended. Then the third doctor I saw recommended me to try these shoes. I do not need the surgery now.

I had a stress fracture in my foot. It hurt all of the time. I wore one of those boot things for six weeks. It still hurt. I went to a good shoe store. This shoe was the first shoe I put on that made it not hurt any more. I'm going on my second pair and my foot continues to not hurt. They are funky looking but has terrific foot bed support. Highly recommend.

My feet are a touch wider than are comfortable in many brands, but Keens feel as if they were molded for me.

After being hesitant about ordering online, I took a chance and am pleasantly surprised with the quality of the Keen Shoes. The efficiency and courtesy of the customer service rep was of the highest degree.

I absolutely love this shoe but it ripped out at the seam just after my one year warranty expired. I'm still wearing them, but there's a good size tear in the right seem of my right shoe!

This is the 6th pair of Keens that I've owned. Each one I wear until they're so worn out I just have to buy a new pair. So far the Briggs II aren't letting me down. They're super comfortable right out of the box & have required little to no breaking in.

These shoes are really great. I've had four pair of them now and I spend every day in them. I still have all four pair, and while some are a bit worn, they still are viable. They are totally comfortable, maybe the most comfortable shoe I've had, and since I'm 57, I've had a few pairs of shoes. The best thing I can say is that I'm a big guy and I recently bought a pair of these shoes a week before a week long trade show in Vegas. And while anyone who knows anything will tell you not to wear new shoes to a show, I was confident that I would be just fine, and I was. Comfortable from day one. I'm sold on Keen Shoes and I love the Briggs II.

Bought these to replace my husband's old pair of Keen Briggs. He wore the last pair out. He loves these shoes. They are comfortable and he does wear them every day to work. He is on his feet most of the day. His feet are slightly wide and there is plenty of room in the toe region. Would recommend these for comfort as well as style. Zappos is great with service as usual.

The Briggs II are very similar to the original, but I took a half size smaller. Not quite as much padding as the original, but they are still very comfortable.
