These shoes changed my life. The fit of these things are amazing. Even though they're cycling shoes they're the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. If the soles weren't so stiff and slick I'd wear them everywhere. They're true to fit and feel great. I live car-free and commute everywhere by bicycle, so I spend a lot of time in cycling shoes. The added comfort I get from these shoes coming from the cheap pair I'd been using for a past few years easily justifies the cost. I immediately felt an improvement in my technique and the chronic ankle pain I've been experiencing has improved greatly. Aside from how lovingly these things hug my feet, the build quality seems excellent and the buckle allows for easy, precise adjustment. If you're a serious cyclist then do yourself, your feet and your ankles a favor and drop the extra cash on these shoes.

I have feet that are wide in the front but normal in the heel. These shoes are great for me (in wide) because they are wide enough in the front but the heel is snug enough not to slip. These also have a very comfortable upper, unlike some cycling shoes which seem to dig into various places on the top of my foot when tight. I gave them 4 stars for comfort only because the footbed is quite hard, and doesn't fit my foot perfectly. This is not a huge deal, because the insole is removable, so I will just replace it.

After trying many other brands, SIDI is the number one cycling shoe in design and performance. Genius 5 Pro Carbon, the best value. Other SIDI models are substantially more expensive and only a few grams lighter with simply a different enclosure system; but essentially the same shoe structure. Zappos always delivers!

I got these shoes after riding in a group of 8 guys and six of them were wearing these! After riding for over a year in cheaper all velcro shoes - these are so much better! Wow, they really lock my feet in there and allow me to precision adjust! These are great, I know they're pricey but you are getting what you pay for with these!

These are great cycling shoes. I got the max size so I could wear my insert. I like the upper strap being separate, so I can get the top tighter than the toes.

Great shoe! I normally wear 11EEE width and the shoe fit my foot perfectly. Perhaps a tad bit long but this didn't seem to be an issue. Something to do with the European size. First pair of cleats that I have owned. Did a 300+ mile road trip the second week of owning the shoes and they performed great. Dried quickly after a couple of summer thunderstorms. No cramping or forefoot problems.

Perfect road shoe for this wide footed cyclist. They are very comfortable, well-made, and adjustable.

These shoes are awesome. Buy them. I had Pearl Izumi shoes for a year and they would make my toes numb on long rides. Finally broke down and spent the money on these...and whoa! no more numbness, they fit my narrow foot better and they work great with my Look pedals and Keo cleats. I will not buy any other shoe than Sidi.

If you're looking at these shoes, and seriously considering shelling out the bucks for them, then you probably already know what you're getting. These are the standard in cycling, against which all shoes are measured. They are super stiff, very comfortable, allow very precise adjustment of the ratchet strap (even while riding). If you have wide feet, you probably know how narrow most bike shoes are, but Sidi's Mega series provide a wide enough platform that enables you to really hammer on the pedals without hurting the edges of the balls of your feet. You will get more out of your bike by upgrading to these shoes. Go ahead...you're worth it!

Great shoe. A touch narrow, but be aware that this shoe will stretch. Solid pedaling platform, easy to adjust without unclipping. May want to get a footbed if you're planning on doing brevets, ultra marathons, etc.

These are great shoes, on my third pair. I was borderline wide, but stepped up from a 46 to a 46.5 medium and do fine. Also pays to experiment with insoles. These do tend to stretch after hundreds of miles and rainy rides; however, adjustment can be taken care of with the straps.

Shoe runs smaller and narrower than indicated. I like that it is narrower because I need that. Had to go up a 1/2-size. Otherwise, it is a light and great fitting shoe.

I wore these while racing up the unforgiving accent of Alpe d'Huez this Summer. I went flying by some guy named "Cadel" on the final climb, he muttered: "nice shoes". (Cadel was right. These are very attractive shoes that fit like a glove.) Next up were a couple of brothers, Andy and Frank. I caught Frank's wheel and as I passed him he gasped: "I hope you bought your Sidi Genius 5 Pro Carbons from Zappos; they have the quickest shipping around." (Frank was right, I ordered them on a Thursday and I wore them on Friday afternoon.) Andy then said to his brother, Frank, as he cracked from the pace: "Zappos also has a great return policy...but it looks like he won't need it." (Andy was correct too. I'm keeping these babies. The fit is a little large but they are very comfortable). Finally I caught and passed a British kid who called himself "Bradley" as we approached the summit. Bradley was a strong cyclist but I was able to reach down and adjust the caliper buckle as I rode. This is a nice feature along with the high security velcro straps that holds tight. It makes for a very secure fit that doesn't pinch or restrict your foot. (Bradley didn't say anything...I think he was jealous of my shoes.) Finally, be careful when walking in these. Even with the pad on the heel they can be slippery when walking on a slick floor...or up the steps of a podium.

I have a wide foot with a high instep. These Sidi Mega fit better than any other brand I have used. I normally buy 9 Wide - these 43 wide (Mega) fit well. Great cycling shoes!

I'm writing this for my recalcitrant husband. He has super wide (4E) feet and is hard to fit. Couldn't find a single pair in any cycle store/REI. Given these limitations, he finds these comfortable and worth the price. He rides 100mi+ races and hasn't gotten blisters or raw spots...so I'd say 5 stars on that. It's not the perfect fit (comfort 4 stars), but it's a rare find for this width foot. Recommend! Note: no arch support but that's normal for these shoes.

I was right between the E (Mega) and D sizes. I tried on a D at a local shoe store and it seemed too narrow at the time. Ended up ordering the E from Zappos, but it did loosen up a bit after a few thousand miles. I am running the middle strap tightened to the limit of range, so maybe go with the D next time and plan for break in. Shoe in general feels great with no pressure points. Too much arch support is uncomfortable walking, but fine riding. Edge of tongue was digging into foot at first, but has broken in to where it is not an issue. Let someone try on the shoes and they broke the caliper buckle. Good to know replacement parts are readily available. Don't be afraid to leave lots of room in the toe box for initial fit.

This shoe finally solved the cramping in my forefoot when cycling longer than 25 miles! I tried 2 other brands with no relief. I needed more room in the toe box and now my 10 "friends" have the space they need to wiggle and stretch to prevent the cramping. This shoe was a little more than I initially wanted to pay, but it has been well worth it now that I can ride longer with others! The quality of the shoe is excellent and looks great as well.

I find the width sizing from SIDI very confusing; or at least other online sellers are confused. Zappos was pretty clear: width: E - Wide. Which is also known as the Mega. I found the regular width in a local bike shop too narrow, and they wouldn't do a special order, so I went to Zappos. The Mega is very WIDE which concerned me at first. But after cranking the front two straps the fit is perfect. Final strap position actually looks about the same as in the product photo. Have a thousand miles on them now and they are ultra comfortable. Grabbed some Speed Play Zero cleats and pedals from eBay and was good to go.

I bought this shoe because I have a wide foot and it comes in a mega size. I am very pleased with this shoe especially since wide cycling shoes are so hard to find.

These are great shoes! The soles are nice and stiff so hot spots don't develop where your cleats attach to the shoes. They are very comfortable and seem to transfer power very well to the pedals. I highly recommend them.

I love these shoes! They are comfortable (for a pair of cycling shoes) and the buckle adjustment is awesome. The straps hold well. I have bargain shopped for shoes before but after numbness from my other pair I decide it was time. So many of my friends who are serious cyclists wear these. If you want a great pair of road shoes that will last a long time, then get these and stop worrying about the price. You get what you paid for. Note, these work only with "three-hole" style cycling cleats. SPD, Look, Keo, Time. I have Shimano SPDs and they work great!
