This review is very late (two years!) but worth writing. This is my absolute favorite purse in the world! I have used it almost daily for two years and it still looks new. Get compliments on it all the time (many from guys in hardware stores), and people are always amazed it's really made of seatbelts. When it gets dirty, I put it in a mesh bag and wash it in the washing machine. Comes out great! It's also the perfect size - not too big, not too small, and it has the metal feet! Awesome bag!

This bag is beautiful! The color is very nice. The picture does not do it justice. I would recommend this product and if I only had one purse for the rest of my life this would be it!

Purse snobs unite! I know you...you've carried Coach, Brahmin, Michael Kors...a whole host of other brands. Well, me too! They now all sit idle in a storage bin as I fondly embrace my new love...Harvey! This seatbelt bag is more structured than I am used to...but hey...I am tired of digging at the bottom of a cavernous bag for my phone, lip pencil, etc. This is super-hip worn cross body...sits on the hip. Look Ma, No Hands! I ordered it in the charcoal...black being a little harsh for me...and this charcoal gray goes with everything I wear...mostly casual skirts, leggings, tights, jeans, scarves. Perfect in every single way! Strap is thick enough that it does not cut into your shoulder. The perfect bag for my next trip to New York in the fall! Highly recommend and bid farewell to the spendy designer bags...you won't need 'em now that you've found Harvey.

I just got this bag and it is amazing! I can fit all of my stuff in it and still have room for a bike lock and light jacket. It is very comfortable and the adjustable strap makes it really easy to ride bike with it on. I had hesitations and was looking for youtube videos galore but am very glad I got it and maybe will make my own video revie.

I got the multi color green bag and love it! The photos do not do it justice. My friends are all now wanting to get one too. This bag will last a lifetime!

Yes this bag is stiff, however with time they do loosen up. However the rigidness of this bag helps with the durability, it is made from actual seatbelts so it will never be super soft. This bag will last your forever and is well worth the money.

I love the way it looks. But it is totally not practical: the zipper at the top doesn't have any extra fabric so mouth of the bag is narrow, meaning the contents of the whole bag tapers upwards and severely limits how much stuff you could stash in it. Otherwise I would have kept it, looks very nice. FYI, the bag is slightly stiff as if there is a wire frame underneath; I liked this aspect to give it some shape but some people might not like.

I have one of these and I love it! It looks great and is very durable. I use it as a personal item to carry on on the plane and it fits perfectly under the seat. I get compliments on it all the time. I even got a compliment on it from a TSA screener (who must have seen thousands of bags) once.

I'm so glad I bought this bag! I use it as an everyday bag to and from work. I commute on the train, so it is large enough to hold my Kindle, wallet, phone and even an umbrella. Perfect commuter bag.

I purchased an original large tote in black in 2000. I still get compliments and the tote looks like new! After 12 years, a marriage, new house and 2 kids... still looks new. This is a fantastic product. I am very hard on purses and have even managed to drive a Frye tote into the ground. but the seat belt bag is still going strong and look new. You will not be disappointed.

This is my 2nd Harvey bag, I absolutely love them! They are super stylish and practically indestructible. I love the messenger style because the strap is very long and super comfortable to ware crossbody. The purse is on the larger side which is nice if you have a lot to carry.

I love it. It is a bit heavy, but it is extremely durable. Color is perfect. Not much for pockets but I knew that going in. I do love Harvey’s products.

I feel like this bag is "too busy" and would like to exchange for a solid color.

My favorite bag I have bought thus far. I love the color. It was well made. It is not to big or to small. I want to buy many more in different colors.

I love this purse! I was nervous to buy it unseen, but the awesome return policy at Zappos made me decide to take the risk. The purse is way better looking in real life than in the photo. I got the "treecycle" and I love the different colors. One perk is that it is fun and interesting but also conservative enough to be professional when I go to work events. Size is fantastic. Big enough to hold all I need, but it doesn't look giant from the outside. I get complements frequently and strangers have asked if they can touch it. Several friends have also bought a Harveys bag after they saw my awesome purse. Incredibly well made, I am betting this will last a long time. Other reviewers mentioned that it was heavier than other purses but I haven't noticed that. I wear my purses in the cross-body style and this works great and is comfortable. The purse has 3 pockets on the inside lining that I use for keys, phone and chapstick. I didn't realize the interior pockets would be big enough for these items and it is great to not have to dig around for them. Looking forward to many happy years with this purse.

Over the last couple years I have only bought Coach Purses, well no more. I bought this purse to try out and fell in LOVE! I was looking for a cross body bag and this is it. The strap makes this purse the best bag for wearing that way, very comfortable unlike others with skinny straps. You can also shorten it to wear as a shoulder bag. I ordered all the colors and Black was my favorite, it looks very rich. I highly recommend this bag.

I just received my bag and I absolutely LOVE it! the colors lean towards more grey tones with a touch of the gold/tan. perfect size, perfect strap length for cross body or shoulder. I know this bag and i will live happily together for eternity! My only complaint is that it did not come with "Feet" (neither did the storm color i ordered) Nor did it come with the cool red "Harveys" hanging tag. puts a seed of doubt as to Authenticity, but These are things Im willing to live without bc this bag is really great looking!!

I have NEVER had a problem with Zappos. This is a first rate company. I love buying and dealing with Zappos. This is a great purse. Love the size and that it is a cross body.
