I have four kids and my oldest son gets a new pair of these every year. The rest get handed down. We own around 15 pairs right now. We spend every weekend of the summer boating. They constantly go in and out of the water. The really nice thing is that they dont get soggy or fall off like a lot of other shoes. Even The pairs that have gone though 2-3 summers of abuse on the river are still in excellent condition. I also own 2 pairs of these for myself. The only problem I have had is the tan ones tend to peel but after contacting hoy they replaced those pairs and I no longer buy that color. Aside from that they are long lasting and comfortable and I will continue to buy these every year.

This is the second pair that I bought for my two-year old niece and she loves them! She outgrew her first pair which were white. She lives in Hawaii and wears them all the time. The first day I put them on she wore them all day and didn't have the slightest discomfort. I will buy her another pair when she outgrows these, too.

I used to get these sandals for my kids...now my grand kids. A great sandal, well made. They do run large. The leather ones can be thrown in the washing machine! Love all the colors available now. And love Zappos service!

What a lovely shoe. Classic through and through. Plus, these can get wet and take a beating - and still look great and feel good.

These shoes are great! They cut into his foot a bit at first but they fit fine. My son wears a 7 but I had to get an 8 to allow room to grown through the summer. We would recommend these shoes. They are nice looking but can get wet.

These sandals are the best! I bought them for my children when they were young and now I am purchasing them for my grandchildren. The are worth every penny that you spend on them.

The salt water sandals are excellent! I have been buying them for years. My four children wore them, and they now range in ages from 19 to 32. Every summer that was the first thing I purchased were their sandals. They still talk about picking out different colors each year. I am now buying these same sandals for my grandchildren. They are just great. You will never find a more durable sandal for your children to wear. Little girls can dress them up or you can dress down. They last forever.These sandals clean up great. They can be worn in the creek, then to church. I loved them most because really small children can't unbuckle the buckles. Most sandals for small children either slip on or velcro. What is that about? You spend half of your day hunting up shoes and putting them back on. These sandals stay on and are oh, so comfortable. You can't find a better sandal for your money.

These are sandals I remember wearing and loving as a kid. My young daughter has now worn a pair of her very own every summer because she loves these sandals, too! Pretty and indestructible. They hold up well enough to be passed down. Makes the cost worth it.

Wonder sandal for children - The sandals are the best! Bought them 25 years ago for the kids and am now buying them for the grandkids! They are wonderful quality and very long lasting, but my child would grow out of them before they wore out. The BEST!

Great Shoes! I bought the Saltwater Sandals for my one and one half year old grandson, as he had outgrown his first pair. These shoes are not only very comfortable, they're very cute, can be worn by a boy or a girl, they last forever, and it’s okay to get them wet! My daughter was suffering with severe morning sickness and couldn't get to the store to get my little grandson new shoes. Since I work full time, it made sense to order them online. Great! The sandals arrived in just a few days. I bought a pair of navy for my 15 month grandson and tan for my 30 month granddaughter. Couldn't be happier with the purchase. The leather was soft and comfortable and both kids loved them. They look really cute with all their clothes. I think the sandals run a little longer than usual but that gives more growing room.

Love these cute blast-from-the-past sandals! They're cute, comfy, and exactly what I remembered from my own childhood. My daughter wore them immediately without blisters or complaints. I remember that when I was a kid I got them wet and it didn't damage the shoe. The ONLY small thing that may be an issue for you is that the soles don't have much *tread* so if you have a clumsy or very active kid, you might want a more *Teva*-like shoe. My daughter likes to run but she's very careful and hasn't slipped. She also has pretty wide feet and these fit, a bit snugly at first but they'll stretch.
