Ordered a 10 and 10.5. I didnt feel there was much of a difference between the two. I ended up deciding 10 was the best fit, which is my size in most other shoes. So I would say these shoes are true to size. The colors are awesome. Unfortunately, both pairs are being sent back. The 10 had a defect in the stitching that I could not get past, especially considering the price. Seems like a pretty well made shoe otherwise. Also, I am very disappointed that these are made in China. I thought all Frye's were made in USA or Mexico. Guess not. At this price, they should be. Even without the defect, I probably would have sent these back after discovering where they were made. Buy American.

This shoe is good quality, has a very comfortable fit, and looks great. I would order half a size down, I usually wear 9½ but a 9 fit better. This is the best boat shoe for your money. I have tried Sebago, Sperry and Steve Madden boat shoes and returned them all.

Absolutely beautiful boat shoe. The leather is substantial but really soft. They run a little long, maybe half a size or so.

Looking for a boat shoe to replace Cole Haan driving loafers that wore through in the toe in less than a year. I searched for a boat shoe that could replace an upscale loafer. The Frye Sully Boat has rich and supple leather, colors that can be dressed up, are comfortable, and the quality stitching is what I would expect of a product sewn together in New York State. It is a comfortable fit and I am confident it can dress up or down and will live up to the Frye motto that it should last a lifetime if properly cared for.

The shoe fit very well and looks great. I would recommend this shoe to any looking for a good quality boat shoe.

Great shoes! Very stylish boat shoe - toe is just a bit more rounded than a Sperry Top-Sider (which I also own and love). Ran a tad small, I usually wear a size 10 in Frye boots and shoes; swapped for a 10.5, which fits perfect for me. I'd recommend going a half-size larger.

Very comfortable pair of boat shoes. They do fit like gloves (quoting the above review), conforming to your feet! Please do take note that the shoes can be a tad narrow, not significantly though. I got the saddle tan, which is simply beautiful. Anyway, the white rubber sole tends to get dirty very easily, but can be wiped off with Clorox wipes. Lastly, kudos to Zappos for the amazing delivery service!

Bought a pair of these in black a few weeks ago. By far the best boat moccasin I've put on. Fit like velvet gloves out of the box. Look great too. Seem to be exceptionally well made in every way. Will be buying another color as soon as I can.

I purchased these boat shoes for my 23 year old son for Christmas and he hasn't taken them off since. He has a million tennis shoes, sandals, dress shoes and says, by far, these are the most comfortable. The look nice with anything.

Without a doubt, the greatest boat shoe I have ever worn! Extremely comfortable right out of the box with zero break-in time! Comfortable foot sole & arch, beautiful color of leather (I purchased the tan), these get the highest rating possible!

This shoe fit very nicely. Using a dress sock instead of my normal heavy work sock left a little room inside the shoe. I added a little insole. Everyone at my daughter's wedding loved this shoe. Me too.

Very soft and comfortable right out of the box. Stylish and cool. I ordered the redwood ones and are not as red as in the picture. They are my first pair of boat shoes and am glad I spent the extra bucks. Worth every penny!

Was looking for a sturdy replacement to a pair of aging Allen Edmonds. Wanted a pair that still had the distinct heel to sole separation - too many just have an entirely flat sole. And I wanted a sole with a neutral color - too many are bright white. The Frye were just right. They are very sturdy - Frye's have thicker leather and seem to weigh at least 1.5 times the usual boat shoe. if you want a lighter Boat, try the Sebago or Sperry gold - both are nice options. The Frye also has a longer Vamp than many boats - to me that gives me more business casual options - can't see the bare foot or short sock as easily.

Great shoes. Like all Frye products and leather shoes generally, these will stretch out, so you might want to order a size or two down, especially if you plan to wear without socks. The footbeds aren't the greatest and have started to slip after only a month or so, but they seem easy enough to pop out and replace with some higher quality ones.

I bought a very inexpensive boot shoe last summer and wore them out so much the insole fell out. My feet and legs hurt so much I decided to spend more on the same type of shoe this year. These are the most comfortable boat shoes I have ever owned. Fits true to size and looks great.

Fantastic shoe. Much better than the Sperry Top-Sider Gold. Leather extremely soft vs. the Sperry. Very comfortable right out of the box. Great looking too.

These shoes were an excellent purchase; they fit like a glove and spared me any resizing drama the first time around. Just order your typical shoe size and you should be fine. The different colored leathers liberate these shoes from the typical rules of color-coordination; you can wear then with almost anything and they fit right in. They are incredibly comfortable, but make no mistake, I am in no way endorsing them as distance shoes. I walk a ways to work and these were a poor choice for traversing miles of Chicago, though around the lab or home they are perfect. The material quality elicits countless compliments. All in all, one of the best pairs of shoes I have ever had the privilege of owning. note: only rated comfort 4 stars due to the aches brought on by long distances. These definitely don't have the arch support of my running shoes.

This is the second pair of these shoes I've purchased for my husband. They are awesome. And Zappos is #1 in the whole world on service. Superior, AAA, I don't know how to say it any better. :)

This is my first pair of Frye boat shoes and I'm pretty impressed so far. I wore a pair of Sperry's for about 4 years until they finally started coming apart so when I went looking for another pair I thought I'd try something different. These feel more sturdy and seem to have much more cushion than my old Sperry's. The price is certainly higher but I bought the olive green ones while they were on sale so that helped. Definitely look good with both pants or shorts.

First Zappos is amazing - their service is just the best. You order one day and within the next day or two your items arrive. Amazing. Frye makes the best shoes and boats ever. They are so worth the money. My husband is very picky but he loves these shoes. They are true to size and look so good. He's a size 12 urgh. We are truly loyal to Frye because the quality of the item is so well made. There is nothing like opening a shoe box with Frye's inside. Every time you do even years later that new leather smell is the best. 5 stars

They are comfy right out of the box. Size wasn't an issue. They deflect water well, and grip to any surface, including wet polished granite! The foam footbed really absorbs the sweat. So far, I've really enjoyed these shoes, but be aware that the toes are a bit boxy compared to other boat shoes.

I could not be happier with this purchase! This is my 4th pair of Frye shoes and I can say that the quality of their shoes is what keeps me as a customer and this shoe is no exception. The pebbled leather is beautiful and the craftsmanship is exceptional; I expect these shoes to be a summer staple of mine for years to come. I initially ordered a size 12, which is my typical size, but I ended up exchanging them for 11.5s. Kudos to the simplicity of Zappos' return policy and process as well as your great product videos. You really do an excellent job of taking the complexities of the on-line shopping experience and minimizing them.

Great shoe. Broke in very easily. Fits true to size. The aged look is a nice change to the traditional boat shoe.
