For steel toe shoes, these were a great option. I'm used to wearing heels all day at work, so it took me a minute to get used to the weight of these, but they're extremely comfortable with great arch support (and cushy heels). Although I would never wear these if I wasn't required to, I think the style is pretty decent.

I love the construction of this shoe and have been looking for a slip on barn shoe for years. Alas, this is still too narrow. Please consider making extrawide toebox shoesforthose of us with "bear paw" feet!

This is the 2nd pair of Ariat safety clogs I have purchased over the years. The first pair were snug all over. Took alittle time to get them stretchedtowhere they weretotally comfortable. This pairfitsvery well in the toe area, but I feel the heel is a little wider, so my heel slips a little. I still think these are fabulous clogs. They look great, are easy to get on and off, and the steel toe has saved my toes a few times over the years, since I work around horses on a daily basis. I will continue to purchase these clogs as long as they have them available.

For a womens work shoe the Ariat has a decent look. The size runs a little small and is difficult to slip on or off.

Love how they fit. Don't assume you can wear thick socks with these ! Granted they just arrived and I need to wear themlonger :-) Oneissue -thecolor -goldenbrownis not the pretty shade shownon the site. They are a brown not a golden brown. I was disappointed in the color difference from online image and what I saw when I opened the box ;-(

These shoes have a painful break-in period. Do not wear these without socks for the first two weeks! Major Owies! I had to wear 5 bandaids after the first two days. The leather is very stiff and the shoes come so tight that the first few days you can barely fit nylon socks. I also wore my socks upside down so the toe seam on them wouldn't bother me. After a week the leather started to stretch and I could wear normal cotton socks. After another week (of all day wear) the shoes stretched to fit - a huge relief as I was beginning to wonder if I should have ordered a half size up, or if my feet were too wide (I bought wide width). So after 2 weeks of break-in, these shoes fit unbelievably perfectly and are now so comfy I don't want to take them off, ever! For faster break-in, I've heard some say to soak the shoes and then wear them 'till they're dry. These are too hot in the summer, but the slip and oil resistant soles are amazing for winter and seriously any terrain. On some hard floors these are as loud as high heels because of the hard soles. The soles are very tough and solid all the way through, so likely to last longer than a year. I walk a lot and get tired of wearing through tread in a few months. Some reviews complained that the steel plate make these too heavy, but I'm pretty sure it's actually the solid soles that add the weight. In my opinion these aren't noticeably any heavier than a pair of sneakers. The steel toe is a bonus. I feel safer moving heavy furniture at home, walking through the production facility at work, and dancing with my husband who is almost twice my weight. I love that these have a heel to them, so they look office-worthy and I can look most guys in the eye now, and yet it doesn't feel like I'm wearing heels at all. The base of the heel is very stable too, so no ankle rolling! These are easy to walk in. The style is kind of cute without being over the top, which makes these a great shoe for just about any setting. Slip-ons like these make it so much easier to leave in a hurry. I love that the top of the shoe comes up high enough on the foot so people can't tell that I'm not wearing socks when I cross my legs. Despite the difficult break-in period, I would like to get another pair for when these wear out. They are so comfy, and a terrific multi-occasion shoe! I'm also very glad I didn't order a half size up.

These clogs look great for steel-toed safety shoes. They are slightly heavy and the insole was not glued down well in my pair so It comes out every time I take off the shoe. Other than that I am satisfied.

My typical shoes size sits between a 10 and an 11 -- depending on brand -- so I try to find shoes in size 10.5. Ariat does not carry the 10.5, so I went with the Black shoe in size 11 thinking that would probably work best as safety shoes never seem comfortable. Even with my thickest socks, they felt too big. So I was happy to order the Brown shoe in size 10 to see how that fit. Ten seems good. Now I will be returning the Black 11 for a Black 10. Two pairs of Ariat to switch out and wear at work.

The shoes are cute and well-designed. I ordered 1/2 a size up which was good because they do run a bit tight. During the first few days, they felt heavy and a bit constricting, but after that, they felt much more comfortable even after a long day of work. Overall I think it would be perfect if it was not so heavy.

I love these boots, but the buttons keep popping off! Can I return them? I have taken them to the shoe repair shop 3 times now!

Shoe is higher on the ankle than a typical shoe. As a result it rubs on the ankle and is slightly uncomfortable. But given the lack of other stylish steel toe ladies shoes I kept them and am adjusting. I wear an 8.5 or 9 depending on brand and ordered the 9 based on other reviews and it fit well.

A wonderfully styled steel toe but a bit on the small side. Based on other reviews I ordered my true size in a wide, but it was still too small. I returned the the clogs and ordered a half size larger in a wide.

I ordered my normal size 6.5 When I received, it was so tight, so I had to send back and order a 7. It is much better, my feet has wiggle room. It's a bit heavy, but hey its a steel toe shoe- guess that is to be expected.

I got this along with the brown size 9 and had to return both. However, these are the best looking safety shoes I've seen. My problem was I was stepping out of the 9 and needed about a millimeter more in the 8.5.

Best looking safety shoe I've tried but 9 was too big and 8.5 slightly small. I was stepping out of the 9 and my toes were up against the tip with the 8.5. I didn't want to take a chance that I'd find the 8.5 too small after a day on my feet. The brown are very nice looking. I normally take an 8.5 or 9 but in this case neither.

Great safety shoes. As an engineer, I have to go from the office, to the field, to the boardroom, and these work. Look good with black pants. A little difficult to put on at first, had to keep a shoehorn stashed with the shoes. But they are getting softer. Nice not to have to mess with shoe laces.

This is a well-designed comfortable steel toe safety shoe. The only drawback is that the upper is cut very high, and cut into my ankle bone. Likely not a problem for everyone, but something to be aware of.

Very comfortable from the beginning. Safety rated. One of the better looking for women's steel toe, but still wish there was something a bit more stylish. Got a half size bigger, just in case, and it is just right. If you want extra room, I recommend go up one whole size.

Nice looking steel toe shoe. Definitely runs small so order up a size. I bought a wide width because of reviews saying the shoe is narrow. I\'m glad I did, but I also wish I had ordered up a half size too.

These are great quality shoes. They look great and are made well. I wore them everyday for about a month trying to break them in and wasn't able too. I have to wear very thin socks and I thought they were very uncomfortable, however, it might have been not breaking them in. I wished they had worked out better for me.

I loved the way the shoes looked being safety shoes. I really wanted to love them. I don't even like them. They hurt my feet so bad, I've worn them for a week, 8 hour shifts, on my feet most of the time. IF I'd have saved the boxes I'd send them back. Just aren't working for me. I'm stuck with them. Maybe I can sell them.

The good: These are so cute and do not look like a steel toed shoe. As to Ariat standards, they are also made very well and are no heavier than my danskos. The bad: I read the reviews that indicated you should size up. I typically wear an 8.5-9, so I figured a 9 would be safe. I was wrong, so I am exchanging them for a wider size but not longer. These will be perfect for someone with a narrow foot. I have a pretty average width foot and they were still too tight on me.
