Shame on OluKai! I have worn their Kekai (now discontinued) sandals and sung their praises to all my friends. I ordered the OHANA, three pairs for a trip to California. They arrived, looking exactly like the Kekai. But when I wore them, after an hour I was slipping on the floors and outside. I scrubbed the soles thinking it was something I stepped through. But no. The materials used in OHANA are shoddy and similar to what they use in soles on kid's shoes from discount retailers. It's a shame that a shoe manufacturer like OluKai has scrimped on such an outstanding sandal. They should replace the soles with the same material used in Kekai sandals. Those, live up to the OluKai name. Not the OHANAS.

Half size wearers.....here is some information that I hope helps you: Two friends have these flip flops. Both wear 8.5 size typically. One has narrow feet. She wears the size 8 olukai flip flop, the 9 is too loose. The other has very rounded feet that are tall at the ball of foot area. She wears the size 9 olukai--the 8 is too tight for her. My true size is 8.5 wide. I have a wide and flat toe/ ball of foot area and a narrow heel area. I ordered both the 8 and 9 not knowing what would feel best. I kept the 8 and returned the 9. The length and width of the 8 looked and felt better to me, the 9 was a little long. I liked the more firm fit of the thong on the 8. I was concerned the 9 would be too loose over time.

I love these shoes! They're cute, and very comfortable. They have good arch support, and a soft footbed that has a little give to it. (A welcome change from the Orthaheel flip flops I have that have great arch support and feel hard as a rock). I have a bunion on one foot, and have had surgery on my other foot to correct a bunion, and these shoes are very comfortable. I wear a 7.5 wide, and these shoes, in an 8, fit great.

These are so great and comfortable. I have a pair in almost every color! I suffer from plantar fasciitis and these are the only brand of thongs that I wear. Great support.

These are the best flip flops I have ever owned (and I've owned over 100 pairs and have a flip flop fetish). They are so great, I'm getting rid of all my other flip flops and buying more colors in these! I have a really high arch, and these feel amazing on my feet. I bought the black pair and the brown pair, and I wore them to Disneyland and they were awesome! Worth every penny, I hope to add a couple pairs every year, they are too good! I'm a 8 to 8.5 and I ordered the 8 and it was perfect (the nice lady told me these run a tad big).

I've been wearing Ohana's since 2012 and these are an absolute staple for me. I've purchased probably close to 15 pairs since, and keep backups of the colours I like best, since every season they change them out. I am going try my best to write a description that will help everyone here. I have worked with orthotic designs for years and understand that this sandal gives you proper support from it's deep heel cup, arch support, and a sturdy yet cushioned footbed (I'd describe the footbed as a dense yoga mat shaped for support so that you do not over-pronate your step.) I have never encountered any staining, or an cons with these sandals in regards to the footbed. What I would say is that for any overall cons; that the straps do stretch with regular wear, the sizing in true to size (although years ago 2012-2014 the sizing used to be slightly large, they have since corrected and it is now true to size) the sole of the shoe is sturdy, but could use a bit more a grip for wet surfaces (it's rubber, but traction feels of plastic over the years - maybe they should produce in USA and not China?) The pros; excellent feeling of comfort, they are not at all heavy, they conform to your foot, your feet and back and knees will probably ache less due to the near zero-drop design. I prefere the classier colours, the rich browns etc. compared to the "spring" colours, but to each their own. Olukai makes excellent shoes, for the price and total comfort, these are worth it, but perhaps manufacturing should come back home to justify to whole Hawaiian appeal. These are my house slippers in the warmth, and go to lounge outdoor sandals when weather permits. Excellent product Olukai, these are their pilot sandals by the way, and I hope they keep them in production for years to come.

Sizing has changed. I love these flip flops, I’ve been wearing them for 7-8 years. However, with this last pair, they’ve changed the footbed to be slightly shorter and narrower. Maybe just a manufacturing oddity, because this is my 4th pair and I’ve always worn an 8 with a perfect fit. See attached pic for comparison of old by new. The difference is not a lot, but I like my flip flops to be just the right length so the toe doesn’t catch, and so the new ones are too short. Will try a 9, but I’m worried that will be too big. Previously they were the perfect flip flop. Cute, comfy, quick to dry, and very durable.

I bought these flip-flops almost three years ago, as a birthday splurge for myself. Recently I noticed the sole is separating on one. Reviewing now because I'm so disappointed in their performance. I live in coastal FL, and own/wear numerous pairs of sandals, so it's not like these were worn exclusively. For the amount of money spent, I would expect a much longer life!

I am very very happy with these shoes. I recently developed plantar fasciitis from climbing and purchased this brand on the advice of a friend. I could not be happier - they are extremely comfortable, with perfect support right at the bottom of the arch and across the foot, and they are also quite stable. I did not have any issue with a slippery sole, as others have mentioned. I cross a creek in these daily and they don't cause a problem. Highly recommended.

Great for my narrow feet! I plan to wear these around my house since I prefer no shoes inside and will keep these clean as indoor only shoes. Walking barefoot isn’t good for my flat feet. I have very narrow thin feet and tried similar styles. The fitflops and vionics were too wide for me. These are still a tad wide but it’s a flip flop so I’ll deal. I definitely feel the arch support which takes a little getting used to but the podiatrist tells me i need it! These are supper soft and nothing rubs or irritates.

These were extremely comfortable with great arch support. However, I will be returning them for one size smaller. I typically wear an 8 in most shoes and will need to to order these in a 7.

These flip flops are great - they have a nice arch support in them. I can't remember if they come in half sizes. I wear a 6 1/2 but got a 7.

I LOVE THESE!!! I'm a flip flop person for sure but recently I've been dealing with plantar fasciitis and flip flops were out of the question. That is no longer the case. I've tried other brands of sandals with arch support (even shoes for that matter) and still had severe foot pain. My BF turned me on to these. I've had them on for 3 days straight, since I bought them. I've been able to walk long distances without issues. My feet FEEL FABULOUS!! NO FOOT PAIN!! It's been a long time since I could say that. I highly recommend these for anyone suffering with foot pain. The flip flops themselves are very well made and feel nice to the touch. No rubbing between the toes or slipping feet. You really are getting a great quality product for the price. I'm trying to decide on another color right now. :)

I have plantar fasciitis (fairly recent) and thought I"d never wear sandals again, but really wanted something just for those short treks around the house. Tried the Vionic Tide and loved everything about it except the fact that the between-the-toes piece on the right foot rubbed me raw. The Ohana was recommended on several foot-problem-related websites, so I went for that, and it's a winner. Good arch support and no pain. Perfect fit in my regular shoe size.

What a terrific flip flop! This is the first year I decided to abandon cheap Old Navy-style rubber flip flops and take care of my feet during the casual summery days. Spent all day walking around the city and the arch support plus the cushion of the sole was just fantastic. The sole was also wide enough for my extra-wide foot (I'm normally a 6.5 and I was told to order a 7). The straps are also comfortable--no chafing.

Love Olukai! This is my third pair. So comfy and they last! Best flip flop I have and I have a lot! I wear a 6 1/2-7 and I got the 7 in the pink and they fit great and I love the color!

Wore most of the time while in Maui on vacation. Super comfortable and supportive. I generally wear a 6 1/2 to 7 and the 6 fit perfectly.

These are absolutely the most comfortable flip flops made!!! They deserve a 10 star rating! They have the perfect amount of arch support and feel like they massage your foot with every step. They are very true to size. These Olukai Ohana sandals are very well made and should last a very long time. Although it cost more than most sandals, they are VERY, VERY WORTH IT! They are pure top quality!

My wife loved these and my daughter tried them on and loved them as well so I bought another pair for her. They provide support and are made in the USA a bonus in these tough economic times. Service was fast.

These are the best flip flops I have ever worn! Just the right amount of arch support for someone like me who has worn flip flops her entire life and now need something a little more. I love them and will be ordering again!

Awesome flip! I ordered this Olukai Ohana in black one evening and had it delivered to my door by 1:30 pm the next day! Awesome service! Great flip flop, comfy right out of the box. Cushiony feel and I want to wear it all the time. Normally wear 8.5, but ordered 8 (info from reviews) and fits perfect. Highly recommend. I'd love one in each color. Zappos is the greatest!!

I suffer from Plantar Fasciitis and have to have shoes on except for showering and sleeping. I’ve tried these before and wanted to give them a second chance but they’re just not for me. I don’t know if the arch is too extreme or if there’s just not enough cushion in the heel, but my heel pain has worsened just wearing these for a few minutes. So I will ship these back. These are also heavy so that could be part of the issue for me as well. I will go back to my Oofos for house slippers. If these don’t work for other’s with similar foot pain, I highly recommend Oofos flip flops and slides. Thank you Zappos for your wonderful customer service! I wear 8.5-9. Ordered the 8. Usually in this brand I need to go up to a 9 - not in these. 8 fits well. Comfy. Decent looking. Honestly in flip flops, depends how long your toes are how the shoe fits. These work great for my short toes ;)

I have a high arch and suffer with intermittent bouts of plantar fasciitis. Because of that, I stay away from flip flops. No more. These give me enough support that I don't hurt my feet and they look good as well. Very pleased.
