These are cute and comfortable. No break-in required. I walked a long way on the first day that I wore them and I have no problem with the strap at all.

These shoes work well. I like more arch support and use them with a purchased insert. Together they works. The clip closure takes a little getting used to but it makes for a fast post-airline security shoe once you get the hang of it. They are a little duller in color than I would like. Overall very pleased.

Great shoe, perfect for slightly gravelly roads and light trail walking on campus and the hills behind work. The fit is pretty good for a Mary Jane.. I get a look that's okay in public against work clothes, and a rugged sole. They're for daily adventuring, not a good working hiking shoe for long trips, though, because the open top is an invitation for rocks, dirt, pokey-plant-bits and any debris you kick up to enter, stick to real hiking boots for real hiking away from civilization or the ability to clean your feet. I love them, seem to have got them for the right reason. About the coming loose issue. It hasn't happened to me, but I see one way it could/would. After training for distance walking I was advised (forced) to loosen my lacing, so with these I never tightened them to the point I could feel the strap digging or tight. If you do that, they will loosen on you. If you start with them merely closed and you can feel them but not feel them digging in they will remain exactly where you put them. Walking coach says almost everyone almost always laces all their shoes too tight, or wears them too small. Who knew, but that over tightening would cause the slide buckle to slip, definitely.

I love this shoe! It is super comfortable and can handle hours of walking. I like that it is as comfortable as a tennis shoe but way cuter. The clasp does have trouble staying tight so I just sewed on some snaps on the straps and now the problem is solved. The small effort is worth it because it's one of my favorite shoes!

These are one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I like them because they feel like sneakers but are a little dressier.

Just received the Kick in New Smokey and they have definitely addressed the strap problem others have mentioned. The strap on this one snaps into place and is rock solid once it is locked down. Maybe the new in New Smokey refers to the new strap design? Other than that, they are very comfortable and cute. I plan to wear them without socks.

This pair of Ahnu Kick is now my most favorite pair of shoes. Great look with jeans. Very comfortable and wipes clean with a damp cloth to again look like new.

This is a comfortable solid shoe- easy adjustable strap, supportive footbed, can take out inner soles for use with orthotics- They walk well- I have logged 2 - 3 miles at a clip with ease- would not hesitate to recommend them.

I have been trying to find a slip on that would fit, look stylish and be comfortable to run errands in. This is a very comfy shoe if you have wide feet. This does run slightly small so a 1/2 size larger is not a bad idea.

So nice and comfy - I am really happy with these. They are perfect for work where I stand much of the time. I have been telling everyone about these shoes. My feet are wide and these feel great.

Great light weight shoe. As others have mentioned, the strap does become looser as the day wears on, but they are stylish & light and great for daily wear and long walks.

All around great shoe - It took two days for these shoes to get really comfortable for me. At first there was some minor rubbing. Now I love them. They are sporty and seem to be made really well and durable. I have only had them for a few weeks though, so we will have to see how long they last. For now they are perfect.

This shoe rocks - This shoe is so cute, so comfy and has great support, and it looks so cute on my feet. It makes my feet look smaller in a good way - I've been walking in it every day for 2 weeks now and no problems from day one. I bought another brand, similar styling but had to go and buy support insoles for them as they hurt my arches because there wasn't enough arch support and they cost twice (yep, twice) as much as these little shoes. I love this shoe!! This is a great shoe with great style, great value, and great support. I am glad I checked out Zappos before running all over to try to find something. Yeah Zappos, you're the best!

These are cute, comfy shoes with good support, but they seem to run a little small. I might\'ve tried a larger size, but I have a similar pair from Patagonia. The clasp is meant to make things easier, but I\'m okay with good ole\' velcro.

These are really cute and comfy shoes for kicking around town and traveling. Hoping to do some light hiking in them as well. For folks who are having troubles with the strap fastener - it locks down to keep strap from slipping, so not a problem. Upsides: Sporty yet girly for versatility. Great color selections. (I got the new smokey.) Enough room for orthotics if necessary. They run wide, so good for wide feet and/or bunions. Downsides: Cheap construction for the price. Soles squeak. Overall, more upsides than downsides.

These shoes are cute and comfortable. I wore them on a trip to Italy without breaking them in and didn't even get a blister. My only complaints are that they are a little too wide (although I do have a narrow foot) and that the strap comes loose and I have to constantly tighten it.

I love the shoe, but I’ve got to agree with the people who said there’s a design problem in that the strap will not stay tight. You end up having to pull it tight again every time you stand up. I’m going to see if there’s something I can put it on it that will both allow it to be adjusted and yet give it some resistance so it stays where you put it. It is a pain. Best tread I’ve ever had, and incredibly comfortable otherwise.

Could be perfect if not for the closure - I bought these shoes and have found them to be very comfortable. Unfortunately, as another review stated, the closure just does not stay tight, no matter what I do. It is annoying to constantly have to tighten it, so I hope the manufacturer corrects this problem!

Ahnu Kick - This is a cute shoe. It is a good color of brown - very dark and if you were traveling and limited on shoe space you could get away with it paired with black. My only complaint is that after wearing a few times the strap loosens as you wear it.

Since other reviewers have noted this shoe felt small if anything, I'm not sure what happened with my pair - they are much too big! The label says that they are a US 8/Euro 41, and while I do wear a US 8, I usually take a 39 in European sizing. The strap is quite wide which makes these shoes more clunky-looking than I wanted, so I won't even bother exchanging for a smaller size.

Nice shoe Although too hard to break in. So similar to 2 other pair although the inside top by outside of foot by baby toe is still too stiff and have to change shoes before 8 hour waitress shift is done. Have tried to wear at least 8-10 times to work now!
