The eagerness to help a customer is outstanding with Zappos. Today you do not find many companies that put the customer first and really do all they can to make your experience the best it can be. \r\n\r\nWe have purchased New Balance running shoes since my son was in men\'s sizes two years ago. They run wider than most brands and hold up very well.

A very comfortable pair of shoes. I have lymphodema and my feet are very wide and I was able to purchase these in a very wide size. Have had many good comments about how these shoes look.

Great pair of jogging shoes. Like most other jogging shoes, they took a couple of days to break in. Very comfortable.

Very comfortable. I wear them daily, as work shoes. I am on my feet 8 hours a day, on concrete flooring. This is my 2nd pair of NB shoes, which I have been very happy with. I just replaced my previous pair (NB) after wearing them daily for the past year. My only problem with wearing them daily is the mesh material of which they're made. When it's cold, the cold air blows right through them. If the slightest bit of water drips on my shoe, it sinks right through my sock. Needless to say, I avoid puddles at all cost! I understand they're made for running, and not walking in snow and rain. I will live with it, to have comfortable feet!

I have short wide feet and this shoe is perfect - I do strenuous hikes and walks in these and they come thru for me… no slipping on rocks, etc., AND I didn’t need my arch supports.

4EEEE - such a comfort for my wide feet. This is the second pair of MR749s I bought because the first pair felt and fit so great. I use them for walking, 12-15 miles/week and they are perfect for that. I jog a little, too, and they are light and have good shock absorption, too. Great shoe for the price.

Great shoes, probably run a half size small (normally a 13/13.5, went with the 14 and it fits perfect). Replaced insoles with orthotics and the laces are a bit too short, but otherwise doesn’t change the overall fit. Will definitely buy this shoe again when I run this one into the ground.

Justin - After determining my foot size, arch, and gait type I needed a wide (EE) shoe with stability (normal arches with mild overpronation). When I got them they squeaked on hard floors right out of the box. The toe box is too narrow even with the wide size I got. I also ordered a half size larger because they majority of reviews said they ran a half size small. My toes were still cramped and I noticed my foot sliding toward the inside of the shoe. Other than that, they seem like good shoes. They look exactly as pictured, are comfortable, offer great impact resistance, and moderate arch support.

I ordered these for my son he has wide feet and it is difficult to find shoes that fit properly. Not only do these New Balance in black/silver look great but they fit great, too! He said they are super comfy.

I ordered this product for my husband,and he has found them to be incredibly comfortable, and yet very sturdy and durable. I have ordered other footwear from Zappos.com and have been greatly pleased with the prompt delivery of their product, and the wonderful customer service. You will never be sorry that you ordered from them.

The pictures really helped me decide to buy this item. The sizing chart is completely accurate, making it easy for me to buy the correct size. The shoes are exactly what I expected.

New Balance MR749 is a great shoe! I ordered the EE (wide) size and they fit perfectly, which is why New Balance is so good. One special note: the toe box area of the shoes let in a lot of air which is good for cooling. However, if you use them in cold climates (as I do), they are a bit too cool. Overall, I would highly recommend them! I like the comfort, style, choice of color combos and price.

These are solid, comfortable shoes. I\\\'ve had some issues with durability: the back, bottom of the shoes has come loose during calf stretches. But other than that, I\\\'m happy with the purchase.

Love the shoes! A little stiff at first, took a couple of weeks to fully break in. I had to put athletic insoles in them, but I have to put athletic insoles in all my sneakers because factory insoles offer no support. I work and workout in these and they're a great all around shoe. I would definitely recommend them.

The shoes were delivered in perfect shape. This particular shoe is a shoe with superb comfort and fit; I like that. Of course, most people would.

Never go wrong with New Balance - 2 years ago, my workplace had a flood. A water pipe burst and the cleanup was massive. My employer gave everyone in our department a $100 gift certificate for new shoes since ours were ruined. That was the first time I tried New Balance and I will never go back. This shoe is phenomenal. I am a big man, 6'3" 400 pounds, so shoes are very important. This is the most comfortable pair of shoes I have put on my feet. I never have foot, back or leg pain. They fit perfectly in the 4E width and have superb cushioning. The Abzorb feature is what keeps me coming back. If you're big like me, find a pair that has Abzorb and trust me, your feet will love you!
