I love these boots. Last year I bought my first pair in vintage brown, and today I just received them in redwood. These boots are as close to vintage Frye boots as you are going to get. They are beautiful and absolutely comfortable. I think next year after I get my income tax refund, I'm going to have to break down and buy them in black as well. I'm a very frugal person normally, but these boots are worth the price. They are my once a year splurge!

I ordered the black leather in a size 7.5. I'm normally a 7 in most shoes, even some Fryes, but tried on the 7 in the store and couldn't walk. The black is darker than pictured. I really like everything about the boot. I was initially worried that the wooden sole and stitching would look bad, but it looks much better in person. The boot comes up high on the leg if you are short. I am 5'2 and it comes up just below my knee. But they look great and the heel height is perfect. Comfortable after just a few wears.

Love these boots. Saw them in the store, not in my size and had to have them! I have been pining for and ordered the vintage brown, they look great, in an 8.5 and they were too snug, with morning feet. Returned them that morning, easy peasy, and got the 9 the very next day, and it fits perfectly. I'm 5'8". I am a first time Zappos customer and plan to buy another pair of these boots when I can. The customer service was outstanding, very patient with those of us not so PC savvy.

I LOVE this boot. I have received many compliments. I love the color because it is a reddish brown. I wear a size 5 or 5 1/2, so I ordered the 5 1/2 and it was a perfect fit.

Loved this boot! I liked it even more than the image I saw online. The beautiful stitching, great heel height that is not too low and not too high. Excellent fit around the calf area and the Redwood color is gorgeous. My only complaint is that the leather is quite stiff but I have several pairs of Frye boots and they do soften up over time/wear.I normally wear a 9 but the 8.5 fit me perfectly. Thanks for the great selection Zappos!

Taking into consideration all the previous comments, I ordered a 6 1/2. That's my perfect shoe size; however, I couldn't get my foot down into the foot part of the boots. What a bummer because these are the sexiest boots ever! The leather is beautiful, the smell of that wonder leathery scent. The color is just as beautiful as previously commented on, that it's a dark enough brown with some red-highlights that it'll go with all dark colors, brown and black. I love them! Just going to order in a 7, then I should be able to get my foot in.

I initially bought the Campus 14L. They were a little casual and and too sloppy looking for me. Returned them and bought the Jane 14 stitch. I love them! I can wear them with skirts and jeans...tucked inside and out. I wear an 8.5-9 and decided to go with the 8.5. At first they were a bit hard to get on over the heel but now they are perfect size. I didn't want to slosh around in them so I am glad a bought the smaller size. Great quality boots!

I adore these boots! Beautiful leather design and quality, love Frye - worth the money. I usually wear a 7.5 or 8 in most shoes, but I ordered these in a 7, they were very, very snug at first (but not in the toes they have a long toe), but after wearing for a couple of days, they broke in and fit perfect, just how I wanted them. I thought they were comfortable from the get go perfect heel height. I get tons of compliments every time I wear them. Once again, ordering with Zappos was great, best customer service! Zero risk ordering.

This boot is amazing. I ordered the vintage brown. It\\\'s gorgeous! The leather has some black and red parts as well as the brown, so it goes with everything. And, I don\\\'t even notice the boot has a heel, it is that comfortable. These are well made, beautiful boots that will last forever. I recommend going at least 1/2 down though.

This was my first pair of expensive "big girl" boots, so I spent a lot of time searching for the perfect pair. I wanted something that I could dress up or dress down, and something with a bit of a heel but could still be worn comfortably all day. This boot, the Frye Jane Stitch, is perfect. It took a couple of days to break them in a bit, but now they are very comfortable. I usually wear an 8.5 to 9 shoe, so I ordered the 8.5 boot. It fits perfectly. I have a normal width foot. The calf opening is also perfect, at 15". I can wear skinny jeans tucked in or wear the boots under bootcut jeans. Again, I am pretty average on calf circumference, so your mileage may vary. I chose the antique brown color, which I figured would be more flexible than black, and I really love the color. If you buy these boots, you won't regret it.

shoes are gorgeous. I have gotten so many compliments on them. Would highly recommend getting them waterproofed and having the sole reinforced if you want to keep them for a long time. The heel is a nice height for walking. \r\n\r\nShoe is better for someone with a narrow foot. I have a slightly wider foot and it can be a tight squeeze into the boots.

Took some breaking in, but these boots are great. Zappos sent them pronto. I ordered 1/2 size down. Left foot was great, but right foot seemed weird in the arch, too close to the heel. Since these boots cost as much as my first car (I\'m not kidding) I was ready to send back, but took the advice of family and friends and broke them in for a few days. I\'m glad I did since now, they are really comfortable. I ordered the vintage brown, and they go with everything. They look great with skinny jeans, little black dresses, skirts. A little big around the calf to look sleek under jeans unless they are really flared. But I am very happy. I was on the fence between the Campus 14L and these. Thought these were a little less chunky and slightly more feminine. Get compliments every time I wear them. Rarely buy leather so I plan on wearing these for a long, long time.

I just received this boot today and it fit perfect. I went by all the reviews on sizing and everyone was right, this boot runs a 1/2 size large. I normally wear a 7 1/2 - 8 in a boot depending, and I ordered a 7 and it fit perfect. The boot is well made and beautiful. Reading the reviews will always help in sizing so I highly recommend to do so. I give this Frye boot a 5 star in everything! Very nice!

I love these boots. After searching high and low and going through many Frye boots, i finally found "the ones". They are very stylish, comfortable and seem durable (granted I only wore them twice so far). I just wish they were slightly taller because im 5\'9 and they just arent as high on my leg is i would like (for example the Paige tall riding boots were perfect height). I got the size 8.5 and i usually wear 9.5 so yes these run big. They were a little tight at first but stretched out after a few hours. The arch support isnt the best, but i think this is still part of the breaking in process. I have a rather large calf (~14" i think) and these fit well, i havent tried them with jeans yet but i think i should be able to tuck skinny jeans into these. Overall i think this is one of Frye\'s best looking boot if you are into the less rugged/less cowboyish look.

Great Boot! Perfect heel height, rich color (dark brown), overall classy boot. Looks great with jeans tucked in, leggings, and dresses/skirts. I am usually a solid size 7, but had to go down to a 6 1/2. Perfect fit!

Beautiful boot - I was looking for a moderate heeled, pull on boot to wear with everything...pants, skirts, dresses. This boot is perfect - not too casual and not too dressy. The brown is a beautiful sort of distressed brown black so it really goes with everything. Incredible Frye quality...I love them.

HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY!!!! Great boots for the house! My feet are always cold but not now! The size was a little tricky. I ordered one size larger and it still was too small. I wear a 10 wide and had to go with the XXXL. S’okay though with the free shipping! Very HAPPY!

Classy looking boot - I wanted a good-looking workhorse of a boot, a little bit rugged, but still feminine enough to work well with jeans and skirts. This is the one. The leather is very nice quality and not too stiff in the calf area. The boot is roomy in the toe-box area, but that may be due to the soft rounded design. This is my first pair of Frye so I have no others to compare. Since receiving this pair I have hardly had them off my feet. They are the most comfortable and well constructed boots I have ever worn. I am able to walk and stand for hours in them, I will definitely be back for more of this brand.

I loved this shoe when I took it out of the box then I put it on and was surprised that my toes were nowhere to be found. Unless you have super long toes I wouldn't wear these. They went back.

Love the boots! I am totally a boot girl and these are amazing. I have been looking for a boot that looks great and is comfortable to be able to walk around NYC. These sure fit that description. They are completely worth the cost. Looks great with dresses and jeans tucked in. They were perfect - I wore them to work all day and was able to walk around the city afterwards. I love FRYE!
