I was introduced to Keen Waimea by one of my clients, who had a pretty pr of women's ones. Being a Women's 12, I had to opt for the Men's 10.5. (Please consider making them in 12's!) These sandals have been a lifesaver. I stand all day in my job (drapery workroom owner) and suffered lower back pain for years; however, with the perfect arch support, the pain is gone. They also save my toes from stubbing on my equipment. I feel energized when I wear them (all spring/summer/fall) and have walked miles in them behind active dogs. They are the most comfortable shoes I own. In winter wear the Men's mules.

I couldn't live without my Keen Waimeas. I wear a women's 12, & so have to resort to Mens 10.5. I'm on my feet all day. My job requires a lot of standing & they have saved my back. The arch support is perfect to reduce back pain. The toe guard has been a lifesaver and a great conversation starter! A very comfortable slip on sandals, great for walking dogs & hiking. My uniform from May - October. From the reviews I see that the main complaint is that Keen's sizes run small, any chance they could consider adding a few larger womens sizes. Most of the women's styles are only up to 11.

Super comfortable and they hide my hideous banged up soccer toes. Please don't stop making these sandals!

I had another pair of these sandals for years, and I just recently purchased a replacement. The size on the pair I own is an 11, so I ordered an 11 again, but to my surprise over the last few years the definition of an 11 must have changed in Keen's eyes. The shoes are visibly smaller than the previous pair (see picture, the old shoe is on the left and the new one on the right) and don't fit at all. In addition they are no longer on sale so when I return this pair I'm stuck paying full price for another pair, the result is my finding another brand of sandal. I would suggest not trusting the label on the inside of your shoe if you're ordering a replacement for Keen shoes of purchases past.

Great pool and beach shoe. Love the toe protection. Very comfortable. Would purchase again.

I'm a pregnant woman with ever expanding feet and these are super comfortable! My last pair of women's Keen sandals are still going strong after 4 years of abuse with monthly washings. These things are indestructible!

These feel just like my last pair that I wore nearly every day for about two years before they finally gave out. Easily the best made and most durable pair of flip flops I have ever owned.

Bought for husband. He likes the toe protection and they are comfortable.

Be prepared for people to ask you where you got your shoes! Always a conversation starter. Extremely comfortable and the toe guard insures that you will never stub your big toe again. I had a previous pair wear out while I was in Charleston SC and I still wore them home. Logged onto Zappos and quickly bought two more pairs! Love these year-round summer shoes.

Love the toe protector design, though some don't agree with me. Sandal is super comfy and should last you for years. The last pair I had lasted 3 years.

I hope Keen never stops making these! Incredibly durable, comfortable. A great value.

I love these Keens! Have blue, leather and now this multi-colored pair. Still have all 3 (ages 6 months to 3.5 years), none which are showing signs of needing to be discarded anytime soon. Comfortable, easy and good looking with shorts or jeans. Always get compliments and people asking where they can buy. Only answer I ever give is Zappos. Only place I've ever seen them.

My hubby loves these shoes. He wears them untold hours---usually cooking, on his feet, all day (he's a chef)---and is thus on his third pair, with absolutely nothing but praise and love for them.

Right size, right price, delivered right on time every time. I've never had to return anything purchased at Zappos.com.

These Waimea H2 are a replacement for a pair of Venice H2, which after 2 1/2 years of daily use/abuse wore out. Keen are great shoes, well worth the expense. I also have the Keen Commuter for SPD Cycling which here in SW Florida, equals year around sockless enjoyment. I have worn these every day since taking them out of the Box. These are my 1st "Flip Flops" in 25 years, so my I had a breaking period for my feet. I love the closed toes, I always seem to find that sidewalk joint pushed up by a root or uneven step. Just last week going up a flight of stairs, I just missed the step and jam my "Rubber Toe" into the step, Keen saved my toe, again - I'm thankful for the design. I've walked miles of Sidewalk, danced, and cycled in them; been to the Beach, into the water, they dry fast - I recommend Waimea H2 (and above Keens) without reservations.

This is my 3rd pair! 1st was stolen at the beach! They are great for everything...sailing, casual hiking. I think the toe protection is a good concept. They never slip when wet.

The ultimate thong "flip-flop"! Stubbed toes are bad! Keep the skin and nails of your toes where they belong...on your feet, with these protective but air circulating, minimal footwear. I am used to the thin sole of a thong, so the thickness of the sole took some getting used to. Other than that...5 peachy-"KEEN" stars!

Love this Waimea style from Keen. Recently bought my third pair in 6 years. I wear this from March to October and put a lot of use into this "shoe". No more stubbed toes! Only issue I've had is with the latest pair. I tried the rubber upper versus cloth and it takes longer to break in, but does not retain the dirt like the cloth. Once you try them you will never buy a different sandal.

This is my second pair of Keens like this. I absolutely love them. I wore the other pair out, but it took years to do it!

Just ordered these to replace a similar pair that I\'ve had for years, wearing essentially right through the soles before being willing to change them out. The new pair are wonderful, just like my first pair, and appear ready for years of adventures! These flipflops get constant attention when I\'m out and about, and much more importantly than that, they work fantastically!

Extremely well made, durable, comfortable and the Waimea can take a bashing all day against rocks and harsh terrain without missing a beat. Not your typical casual sandal in any sense, Keen has done a wonderful job marrying both style and function on the Waimea. This is my first Keen purchase, but will definitely not my last.

These are probably the best thong sandals I've ever worn. This particular pair is my third. The toe guard is great, and the footbed is miles ahead of a traditional flat piece of foam. I usually wear a 9.5-10, and in these I wear a 10, which just fits my foot. Would absolutely recommend these to anyone looking for a thong that is more substantial than most, and comfortable for almost any summer activity.

Ordered these for son-in-law. Exactly what he wanted. Loved them. Definitely would order another pair!

Flip flops as a kid cost one dollar. Now it's hard to find that flimsy piece of plastic for cheap. Trendy models cost well, as much at these Keens. Difference is my feet have changed. They need support otherwise my legs and knees hurt. These are a dream flip flop. That perfect shoe for around the house and short trips out. Comfortable arch support and another favorite, toe protection. These are hard to beat. I recommend them.

This shoe is the perfect mix of sandal and flip flop. I'm on my second pair now. The first pair lasted approximately two years with heavy use. I found them to be very comfortable after the first day or so of break in. The lack of leather materials is great for use in water. If better summer shoes exist, I've not found them. Highly recommended.
