After having two pairs of Asics followed by two pairs of Brooks Adrenalin, I decided to try the Nike Zoom Structure Triax +12. The wider toe box, shorter padded tongue that did not impinge on my ankles, and good arch and pronator support were all features that worked for me. For running shoes, I usually get a half-size larger than my regular shoes, but for the Nike Zoom Structure, I needed a full size larger. They are similar in weight to the Brooks and feel (at least initially) like I have more support. For orthopedic reasons, I wear a heel insert which I was able to insert easily under the sock liner of both the Brooks and Nike shoes.

Great running shoes - I used to think I could never wear Nikes, in the past they had always been too narrow for my foot. I have a wide foot at the toe box, but kind of narrow in the heel. The Nike Zoom Structure Triax+ 12 shoes are a perfect fit for me! I also am a mild overpronator, which I found out by looking at an old pair of shoes - the sole wore more on the outside of the heel. These shoes are like running on air (and I run on concrete or slate sidewalks)! I ran a 5K recently in these shoes and the only problem I experienced was that the tops of my feet hurt a bit over the arch (but I have very high arches and probably tied them a little too tight). On my regular 1-2 mile runs, no problem whatsoever. Overall a wonderful shoe, definitely worth the price!! I bought the gray/green ones, but would consider purchasing the silver/pink as well.

nice zoom structure triax 12 - Size is true for running shoes, which I always need in a half size larger than regular non-running shoes. I love this running shoe - really good stability and wide in the toe box - good for a gross bunion foot.

Sadly sending these back. Being an Asics fan for years, I hadn’t tried Nikes a while and decided to give the Zoom Structure Triax 12 a shot since it’s so highly rated. I tried a 1/2 size bigger than my usual 7.5, based on previous reviews saying this shoe runs 1/2 size small, but I found the 7.5 fit better since the shoes seem long in the toe area. Nice cushioning and stability, but my heels slip out with every step. Strange, as I’ve never had that issue with a running shoe before. For me, not a good fit - looks like I’ll be going back to Asics.

Stability and comfort in a nice looking shoe. I almost always buy Nike athletic shoes, but last time I switched brands. The Asics seemed very good, quite comfortable, and did not bother my feet, but I never quite fell in love with the look of the shoe. The Triax has it all. They are padded and fit well in the heel with room in the toe box. My foot is very stable in the shoe and does not slip around. I wear a size 7, but bought 7 1/2, which is a good fit.

Slightly larger than last Structure Triax? I have owned several pairs of Size 9 Zoom Structure Triax. I weigh 146 pounds, 5'8", low arches and overpronate. The last pair I put over 300 miles on - the shoes really were great. Unfortunately this pair feels longer. Should have gone 1/2 size down. But still - I'll stick with the model. I use with an Enduro-Sole insert.

Super cute! I do love the flashy pink of this shoe, my favorite color! More importantly, it is a great shoe for people who need more support in the toe. I normally wear a size 7 in everyday shoes, and got an 8 that fits well. I run about 20 miles a week and don't have a complaint!

Fantastic shoe! This is my second pair of zoom structure triax. I purchased the 11 and now own the 12th version. Both were extremely comfortable. I have a narrow heel but prefer to have extra space in the toe region so finding a good fit is quite difficult for me. I also over pronate and have high arches. These shoes allow for supportive insoles as well as orthotics. I haven't needed to even use any extra support in these shoes (surprisingly) and have worked out in them several times already. My feet also tend to go numb during a long elliptical workout but I have found these shoes tend to eliminate that "tingling" feeling. Highly recommend these.

Very comfortable shoe - fit my foot perfectly (wider toe area, but narrow heel). I bought an 8.5N, and this is the first shoe where my heel doesn't slip out the back and I had enough room in the toe area!

Very cute and also extremely supportive - I normally wear a wide shoe and have had New Balance (for Over Pronators), which end up being too large in the toe box. I also had the same problem with Sauchoney. These were wonderful, first time a pair of Nikes fit like a glove. I weigh over 200 lb and am walking 50:00 per day on treadmill, these shoes hold up great.

Running shoe - I tried several shoes before I found the right one. My feet have been hurting and I have a narrow heel. I used a sports gel insert and this shoe and could run in it the first day. Zappos has excellent service. I plan to shop with them again and tell all my friends about their service.

Very comfortable shoe. Good support, moderate arch support that doesn\'t cut too far back in the heel. I think the shoe is a little on the small side, maybe 1/2 size. Nike is usually narrow which fits me well and these seem to be great in the width. \r\nSome stitching has come loose on top of the toe but I doubt it will affect the durability of the shoe.

Pretty comfortable, although my heel kept slipping out, almost as if the padding on the heel was too thick. Maybe it is because I have big feet (size 11) but these shoes overemphasize the front width of my foot, so I had to send them back. Otherwise, I think they'd be cute on a smaller foot!

These seem to run a little bigger than the Triax 11s that I had, which I loved. They don't have the air pillow under the front ball of my foot, which I really liked. I wear a 6.5 shoe and typically wear a 7.5 running shoe. I ordered these in 7.5 and probably should have returned them for a 7. They feel a little sloppy. Too bad I wore them several times before making up my mind.

Too Narrow in the Heel - I tried a different color of these in a store and thought I prefer buying it from Zappos. They arrived with lighting speed (thanks, Zappos!), and the color (pink) and silver/gray is great. I put them inside the house and walked around for a bit...and for whatever reason, the right heel keep rubbing and it's already causing a bit of a blister. I changed my socks from thicker, athletic socks to thing ones, hoping it would help the narrow heel aspect...but it really doesn't. After walking around in them indoors for half a mile, my right heel is sore and red. Also, the cushioning in these is not that good. The shoe is lightweight and cute looking, but the padding is stiff and for an overpronator with a low arch like me, I don't feel this offers as much support. I would definitely need orthotics in this for extra support, but the shoe is already too narrow and probably would not work with one. Too bad - I had really hoped these would work. The search for the right running shoes continues.

Great shoe and good support. There is not much room for wearing the thicker socks, only the thin sport styles fit comfortably inside the shoe. That's what I'm wearing now. I don't know if I'll be able to use the shoe for exercise in the winter months.

Still a good shoe, but doesn’t compare to the Triax+11s. I had about 5 pairs of the 11s and they have more cushioning and just an overall better ride. My legs seem to get fatigued a little faster in these shoes because of the firmer ride. I think I should have gotten them Vomero 3s, but figured I would just stick with the Triax... live and learn I suppose!

Good Nike Shoe - For the price, this is a good shoe buy. The sole and sides wear fairly fast but I also work out / run every day in them. Excellent support although a little heavy, but not too stiff. I like Nike because of the iPod device you can put in the shoe.

Given that I have a difficult foot to fit, this was a big fat NO. There was not enough padding on the tongue for it to be comfortable. The basic shoe was not a very good fit. It was far too wide and I think because of that, the fit would never have worked. Not a bad shoe for others, but not a good shoe for me.

Just okay - based on past Nike running shoes I was expecting a little more of a cushy feel. Also, there is no room for inserts, even without insert I can barely get the laces tied. I have what I'd consider an average sized 7.5 foot.
