I'm a big believer in taking care of leather boots that you love, especially if they're good quality to begin with. I also want to be able to wear my favorite boots and not be afraid of the weather. I used this product last winter on a new pair of boots and wore them in the rain, in some salted slush, walking all over filthy city streets, and the boots still look like new. I mistakenly threw that can away, so I bought another - and conditioned/waterproofed that pair and 4 others, which used up about a third of the container.

Used these on some vintage, well worn, and pretty "dry", almost brittle, Campus-style boots. It made a big difference in the softness. They feel a lot more supple and the color wasn't effected. Also, it didn't have a strong smell like many shoe products.

I spend a lot of money on Frye boots and I trust this boot cream. I want to protect my investment. It conditions the leather and makes them weatherproof. I apply to all boots when I first get them and get no staining from getting a little wet.

This is a great cream! Even my hands were softer after applying it to my boots! My boots looked a bit darker right after applying the cream but were back to the normal color by morning. There is also no weird smell to this cream. I have used other leather creams in the past but this is the first time I was very satisfied with the results. This will be the only cream that I use from now on.

I have a pair of Frye books that were looking very worn. I bought this to give them a little umph and it did the job. They practically look new now. I thought it would be messy to apply but the cream (looks like vaseline) was easy to apply and didn't stain the towels I used. I will use again for sure.

This stuff is awesome! I had a scratch on my boots and this took it out...they look new again. I will definitely buy this again!

I absolutely love this stuff. I have tried so many brands and none of them work as well. It softens the leather considerably and adds a lot of shine. The one problem is that it will darken lighter leathers a lot, so be cautious with distressed or lighter colored leathers, as it will stain them. Otherwise, I love this cream, it really rejuvenated my Fryes.

This conditioning cream is going on all my Frye boots (a plethora of them) and others. A bit more to do than using a spray can for weatherproofing, only really worth the effort. The conditioner definitely will do its job protecting the leather and keeping it beautiful. I have used the Frye Leather Conditioning Cream on all my leather boots and really like this product. Recommending it is easy for anyone that wants to protect her Frye boots investment!

I didn't expect to receive so much. I expected something similar to the small polish tins you can find at the grocery store. This was a generous sized tin. The cream itself has the color and consistency of Vaseline. I used it on three different pairs of shoes. I was very impressed with the results and I hardly made a dent in the content of the tin. The cream was originally purchased to use on a pair of new Frye flats which arrived completely unfinished. The color did darken a bit on the unfinished leather, but only by bringing out the leather's natural rich tone. The leather was made softer and more supple, which greatly improved the breaking in process. As an experiment, I also used it on my new Frye gladiators. They were already treated so I didn't use much. There was very little impact and it didn't affect the color at all. Finally I used it on a pair of old GAP loafers. The loafers had been through more than a few seasons and were faded and dry. This cream brought them back to the rich blue they were when I purchased them. They darkened the loafers, but not beyond what they originally were. They simply restored it's natural tone. I highly recommend this product to anyone needing to restore worn leather shoes or new unfinished leather. Be advised that some leather is sealed during the finishing process and makes it resistant to treatment. You should also avoid treating nubuck and suede. These require different products and are more likely to darken. An appropriate leather should not be affected beyond the natural tone of the leather. If it is significantly darkened, it may be due to the type of leather you are treating or the extent of the wear.

There is not one pair of frye boots/shoes that don't get conditioned before I wear them. I use this conditioner on all my leather shoes, keeping them looking great. I only buy two brands of boots, that is Frye and Born and this conditioner goes on all of them first. Shoepolish, never use it, just do an occasional touch up with the conditioner and off I go. I won't wear a leather shoe without it. I even treat my handbags.

This product brought my Frye boots (in smoke) back to their original glory after a winter of water and salt stains. I had forgotten what they were supposed to look like! Really nice. I used it on a pair of black leather ballet flats that I scuffed up also - it's a great product.

This product is great! It did not darken the leather on my boots (which are a medium brown) and offers great protection. It is "weatherproof" not waterproof, but is all you need to keep your Frye boots beautiful.

I got this to treat my new boots but used it on all my riding shoes, work (barn) shoes, etc. Even the worst of the bunch look almost new again. Service was great, got it in a couple of days. Highly recommend.

I bought this to protect my new pair of Frye boots. My boots are a medium shade of brown and the cream did not change the color much. I was happy with the look and feel of my boots after applying the cream.

I initially had doubts about this product, but after using it on my Frye boots, I have to say it worked great! Yes, it will definitely darken the leather of your boots (which is why I was initially hesitant to use it). However, I found the finished look to be gorgeous. So far, it's worked great in terms of weatherproofing (I wear my Fryes all the time. Even in the rain and light snow, the product has lived up to standards). I would say a must-buy in order to preserve and care for your Fryes.

I bought this for a pair of new Frye boots. Since they are so expensive, I wanted to make sure to protect them. I live in an area that has harsh winters and wanted to be able to wear my boots to and from work without worrying. This cream is very easy to use. I found it worked into the leather very well and only caused a temporary darkening in the color. After letting it dry overnight, my boots returned to their medium brown color. Overall, I think it has helped to protect the boots. I am very careful not to get them wet, but the salt and snow wipe off very easily. You do need to reapply this every few weeks, though. This isn't a problem since it is very easy to do.

I went conditioning crazy the night this cream was delivered. Conditioned my Frye Engineer 12Rs, three pairs of Born shoes (in both black and brown leather), several pairs of Doc Martens and various handbags. My biggest "wow!" was using it to revive a black leather secondhand Hobo International bag I bought off an auction site. I bet if the original owner could see this bag now, they wouldn't have sold it! It's my prized find of the year thanks to this cream! Buy the cream. Do test a spot if you have weathered or light colored leather. It did slightly darken my 12Rs (Charcoal Old Town) but they are still a beautiful weathered grey and now I can wear them on bad weather days without worrying.

I used this on my Frye Shirley Strappys in dark brown. I wouldn't say that it made the leather darker, but richer. It's like when you get something wet - and since mine were already dark brown, it just became a deeper richer dark brown. The leather feels amazing - soft, supple and very comfy. It seems like it will last a while too. Great product!

Perfect leather conditioning cream to make those old worn out shoes you have look brand new with a nice finish. Definitely worth the money as it will make your pair of leather dress shoes last much longer and look great.

Perfect for my boots!

I finally bought some of this for two pairs of my boots. I’m trying to take better care of nicer things rather than having to buy cheap things, the. Rebuy then each season. It was easy to use and made my boots look, feel, and even smell (at least I think so, maybe more leathery smell) better.

This does an amazing job!! I’ve used it on multiple pairs of boots. It really makes a huge difference!!
