This is the fourth pair of these shoes I have purchased, the first three from a local store, so I knew exactly what I wanted. I found them on Zappos for about less plus I saved the sales tax. I have a narrow foot so it is hard to find running shoes in 2A. I love these and buy a new pair at least 1 time per year. They have good support and don't slip in my narrow heel. I wear size 11 2A in running shoes, which is one size up from my normal shoes, as recommend by those who know more about running.

I typically stick with New Balance for my athletic/aerobic shoes but I thought I'd try a different brand. I'm glad I ordered a half size larger because they are perfect! Very comfortable, good arch support, a teensie bit narrow even though I ordered D (wide).

I bought these shoes for a trip I was taking to Japan. I knew I would be walking a lot so I wanted shoes that were comfortable and had good arch support. I returned the first pair because they were too small. I ended up getting a pair a full size larger than I normally wear and they were perfect. The shoes were comfortable and had nice arch support. Unfortunately, I didn't break them in enough because I ended up with a huge blister after the 2nd day in Japan. I don't think it would have mattered what shoes I had on because we did some serious walking. I would still recommend these shoes for their comfort and style.

These shoes are super cute and the colors are great. But most important, they are a fabulous running shoe. The toe box is roomy, and the heel is well-cushioned. This running shoe was made for my foot. Awesome.

I purchased these shoes (size 8, width 2A) to replace the 2110 (same size/width), which I'd had for too long. The 2110s were so comfortable I ended up buying two pairs for my hard-to-fit feet. Hope the 2140 will prove to be so comfortable that I'll purchase a second pair of this model, as well. This line of Asics runs a little small, so I learned with the 2110, which I tried on and purchased at a local store, that I needed to choose a size larger than my typical 7. Unfortunately, a foot injury is keeping me from putting the 2140s through their paces for the time being. Zappos' service was awesome! Though I didn't choose expedited shipping, the company volunteered to treat me with one-day shipping. I was amazed and very impressed!

I love these shoes! This is my second pair in the exact same colors. Very good fit with my custom orthotics. True to size. Zappos is great -- fast shipping, good customer service.

We have had this brand before but this particular shoe has a very good heel and arch support. My daughter has trouble with her feet rolling in (pronation) and this shoe is great for keeping her foot in line-and she loves them. They are very light and airy and comfortable from day one. The colors are great also.

I finally found a pair of athletic shoes that I absolutely love! I normally wear a size 6 shoe, but I order a 7 in these. This particular style fits my foot pretty well, so I just keep ordering them. I use my new ones for exercise until they wear out, then they're used for general walking around town. I typically like white athletic shoes, but these are perfect as the bright colored accents make them look sharp. I'll keep buying them, so ASICS, please keep making them!

This is my second pair of ASICS GT-2140. I am not a runner but wear them for walking and around the house on my hard tile floors. They give me the cushioned support I need to protect my knees.\r\nThe cushioning stands up well and I believe they are well worth what they cost.

These are great shoes. They are a replacement for the same shoe I purchased a year ago. They fit well and are exactly like the shoes I purchased last year, only with a newer model.

Love, love, love ASICS 2140s. This is my 4th pair. Great arch support, good stability, and great cushioning. They are light weight, feel true to size, and are ready to go right out of the box, no break in time needed. I walk 3 - 5 miles a day in all kinds of weather and these are awesome shoes for exercising or every day wear.

I got these shoes for my 11 year old granddaughter. It is hard to find wide tennis shoes that she likes. She picked these out and is very happy with them. She just got orthotics and needed a good pair of shoes to put them in and these seem to fit the bill. We decided the first pair would be too small with the orthotics so I called Zappos and had the new pair the next day. Can't beat that.

Love these shoes! I have a wide toe box due to bunions. Got the 2140s in a wide and went for a 13 mi run with no problems. No blisters just a great run. :) I usually wear an 11 in casual shoes but did go up to an 11.5 and happy I did.

These shoes are very comfortable. I walk every day...3 to 4 miles. For someone with fairly narrow heels and wider in the toe box, they are just right. This is my 3rd pair. Asics are great for my feet. I ordered 1/2 size larger than other shoes, but always do for athletic shoes.

I was very pleased how well these shoes fit upon first trying them on. I have a narrow foot, and they fit quite well. Love the colors too. Very happy with this shoe.

This is the best tennis shoe I have ever worn. I have hallux rigidus, and by wearing this shoe with a morton's extension, I am no longer in pain when I walk. I love this shoe!

I love these shoes. I ordered my regular size of 6.5 and they fit great. I have flat feet and the support is great! Would definitely recommend the Asics GT-2140.

This is a great running shoe; especially for those who need medium stability support! I've been wearing Asics for four years now and keep buying newer versions of the same shoe.

I love the Asics GT-2140. It is very cushioned and right now is the only comfortable shoe I have, following a foot injury in January 2010. Prior to the injury I was walking 15-17 miles per week on a treadmill, wearing the Asics Kayano 14 and Kayano 15. After the injury that shoe hurt so I ordered the GT-2140. I'm not able yet to resume exercise walking - but can say with complete confidence that the GT-2140 is a very comfortable shoe to a very sore foot.

Love these shoes- light as a feather and great arch support! I generally take a 7.5 dress shoe but the 8.5 Asics work for me.

I have been running/working out long distances for almost 15 years and I have never found a shoe that I liked enough to buy again and again, until I found these. They are worth the money! The first week or two I wear them they are incredibly uncomfortable as you have to break in the memory foam. So initially they feel very bouncy which is good, but they kind of burn my feet in places they aren't worn in. After that, they are simply amazing. Since wearing these shoes I have significantly reduced the amount of shin splints I get, and my knee injuries have stopped getting worse (not gotten better, but not gotten worse). They are extremely lightweight, and very well cushioned, but the best part is the way they mold to your feet. The design of the shoe is great for running because they kind of force you to run heel-toe, and add a little bounce to your stride, which is proper technique. I teach a very high-impact sports-conditioning class (Body Attack) in addition to running long distances (in the 10 mile to half marathon range) and I no longer wear any other shoe. For my Body Attack class, these shoes last me only about 4-5 months, because they wear down a bit from all the lateral movement. But it's worth that because they are so lightweight. Last but not least important is how good looking these shoes are. I own the blue/white and orange/white combinations, and personally I don't think the blue/white is as cute, but it's not bad. The orange/white is just great looking and I get compliments on them a lot. As far as fit, Asics shoes always run a bit narrow, but they aren't so bad you have to order a size wider than normal. I get a medium width, and they break down a bit on the sides after lots of wear, but they don't feel too narrow. If you're looking for a great shoe that is worth a few extra dollars, this is it. Not as expensive as some of the top-notch tennis shoes, but not extremely cheap either...but they are really great.
