This is a fabulous boot. I had been studying and searching many, many reviews when I came across this boot and I am so glad I did! Extremely warm. Feels great on my foot. I bought a half size larger because of what the other reviewers had said about the boot and I think they were on the money. They are a bit tighter than I thought they would be for tucking my pants into the boots, but this is a minor flaw in my book. I bought them for snow walking my dog and keeping my toes warm as I wait for the bus during the cold months. I am extremely happy with my purchase and would buy the brand again.

LOVE, LOVE this boot! It will forever take away your worries about cold feet! My feet are always cold in the winter and I have mild frostbite on some toes from my growing up years in North Dakota. I now live in central Illinois but still need a warm boot for cold spells and winter travel. I've found it in the Baffin Chloe. I purchased this boot in anticipation of a trip to Breckenridge, CO, where last year my toes in other boots became unbearably cold while waiting in line for the gondola at the top of peak 8. This year Breckenridge was even colder and snowier. The Baffin paid off. Granted, a boot will keep your feet warmest when you're moving around, but even when I simply walked and stood around in single-digit temps -- my feet felt cozy, comfortable and warm. The traction is excellent, and they're fashionable in a smart, wintery kind of way. Order one size up. I normally wear a 9 in boots (8-1/2 in regular shoes), but had to re-order a 10. Even that felt small at first but that's because of the insulated boot inside, which you can pull out. Like the tag says, boot liner really does conform to your foot and guarantees you will be comfortable.

This boot made it to Antarctica and back - and was wonderful. Except for one excursion when we trekked through a small stream for a good five minutes and a little moisture seeped in, the boots kept my feet dry through wet zodiac landings and hikes through snow - and were moderately comfortable enough to wear for the entire 19 hour trip down to Argentina rather than packing them in my luggage. They'd be too big for me without the liner, but it was a perfect fit otherwise - I usually have trouble finding a boot small enough for my foot and large enough to fit over my calf.

I own a pair of these boots and bought them for my 18-year-old daughter. We both love them. We walk in 12 inches of snow in them, and they are comfortable, warm, and keep our feet dry - without exception. They are the proper height for true warmth and waterproofing toes, feet, ankles, and legs. They look great with jeggings, leggings, and tights (they probably don't fit well under anything but a wider, boot-cut pant leg, but we don't wear those in frigid conditions, anyway). They are stylish. We love and both own the lightest color pair. They are an excellent value for the price, and since I have owned mine for years, I anticipate that my daughter's pair of Baffin Chloes will serve her well for years, too.

These look like awesome boots! We ordered size 7 and my daughter wears size 6, but they were still too small. Have to return them. Order large!

Like others, had to order a size up, but BY FAR, these are the warmest winter boots I have ever owned!! I learned there is some truth to the 'don't wear cotton socks' thing, and when I follow that rule, my toes are so toasty and comfortable in these. I use them mainly for walking my pup and playing in the snow with him; but they look just as nice to wear shopping or going out to the local pub on a snowy night for a burger. Plenty of room to tuck your pants/jeans in (I use the pant stirrups); the liner does conform to your foot after being worn several times. I love them so much, I bought 3 pair in different colors, but the sand is my favorite. I don't want to be without a pair of Baffin Chloe's in case they discontinue them.

I like the idea of an inner boot liner. It was cozy except that my toes were squished. I wear a size 9 boot, and had ordered the 10 and it still felt tight on the toes. I didn't even try without the sock liner because then what is the point of ordering this boot? With more toe room this boot would have been great.

I love these boots... I looked at many boots, and decided to go with these and I'm glad I did! I live in Minnesota, so the temps do get below zero, these boots do keep my feet very warm. Great on the ice too. Only complaint I have is they do run a little small. I usually wear an 8 and had to return for a size 9.

I've only worn them a couple times, but so far I can honestly say they are super comfy to walk in and they've kept my feet warm. I live in ND and when the temps dip below 0 regularly and warm boots are a must! I normally wear a 9.5 and so I got a 10 and they work great with or without socks.

I never order shoes online due to my short, wide feet, but since Zappos offers free shipping, I thought I'd give it a try. I haven't had a chance to wear these boots in winter yet, but they actually make me look forward to the snow! They fit me perfectly, despite being a B width (I normally need a D or wider). I went up a size in length, which helped, but the comfortable liners and the overall wider shape made it work. I am very happy with these boots!

I live in Two Rivers, Alaska where it gets down to -50 below for days on end. I needed something warm and practical for outdoor chores as I have horses! I've only had these boots for a week and the temps have been about -20F! These shoes are warm! The inner lining comes out so you can dry it. Your feet will stay warm! I love these boots, a lot!

I have been on the hunt for new snow boots for a few weeks. This pair is the 3rd pair I ordered from Zappos and are the ones I will keep. I usually wear an 8 or 8.5 and Zappos suggested a 9 for me...it was the right suggestion. They are snug and cozy...I think when I put on a thicker sock they will be even snugger but I wouldn't want a bigger size. I have to say, I tried them on when they were delivered hours ago and have not taken them off. They are not extra clunky or bulky. They are nicely padded and are comfy to walk around in. They are cute but also more legit/functional for snow purposes than the other boots I tried. They were more expensive than I was looking to spend but I am happy I decided to move forward.

I have never reviewed anything. Ever. But these boots warrant a review. I am usually a size 9, so I did order up a size because I like to wear really thick socks. I live in northern Minnesota and I walk my dogs every day: rain, snow, and subzero temps. It was -6 degrees when I took these out of the box, and they are amazingly warm! They are lightweight and very comfortable for hiking in the snow, and my toes never once complained... I also love the cinch drawstring -- no fussy laces to tie. These are my new go-to winter boots (bye-bye Sorrel!)

This has a metallicinner boot, which made the boots waaaaay too narrow for my foot. If I pulled out the liner boot, it would fit, but defeats the purpose of a true snow boot. Beware if you are anything other than a narrow foot. This was a high quality boot, seems like it will be great for those narrow-footed ladies that it will fit.

I got this in my regular size and it fits perfectly. I noticed others' reviews that suggested going up a size. I didn't have to. The insole is so warm and soft and conforms to my feet. I've worn this in very cold weather and my feet stayed warm and comfortable. I don't wear thick socks because the boots are warm enough without them. I am so pleased with them, I bought some for my daughters.

Great, well constructed boot. Was wanting to get a pair for my daughter - I've owned the same boot for about 3 years. Seems to run a tad small. Will return for 1/2 size bigger. This boot is wonderfully warm and I've had no problems with the construction or the comfort. Will buy 1/2 size bigger.

This has been one nasty January in New Jersey! I purchased the Chloe boot after buying a pair of Baffin boots for my son, who desperately needed a new pair. We were so impressed after receiving my son's, that I bought the Chloe, hoping they would be just as warm. They did not disappoint! Soft, cushy and so warm! I spent about 2 hours the first time I wore them at the top of a sledding hill, in 20 degree weather with wind. All the moms that were with me were freezing their feet -- but mine were toasty! I purchased them one size bigger than my normal size, after reading the comments on this site. At first I thought that was the right move, but now that I have been wearing them, I probably would have been fine with my regular size. They formed to my feet nicely. But they are still not too big, and with thick socks, they're great. Only one problem: the little plastic thingy that covers the ends of the shoelaces was broken when I bought them, but Baffin customer service mailed me new ones immediately -- they were great! All in all, my favorite winter boots, ever.

These are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn!!! I read the reviews and order a full 1.5 larger than I normally do. However, I am so incredibly happy how well the boots fit and how comfortable they are.

Perfect fit! Really comfortable, no pinching or rubbing as some boots do. Memory foam interior sole is really nice! Makes it feel like you are walking on a cloud.

This boot is beautiful, sturdy and very comfy. It's soft and form fitting on the inside and I love that it has a removable, washable insert. The sizing felt perfect to me - a seven fits like a seven! I also LoVe the drawstring laces - makes it so easy and quick to put on and off. Good boot at a good price!

I usually wear a size 9 but because of the reviews I ordered a size 10 and the last pair of size 11 in stock. I am so happy I ordered the 11s! I like wear thick socks and add an additional insole which is why I chose two sizes larger than what I normally wear. My feet are so happy!! I wanted to find a boot as comfortable as my slippers because I live in the mountains, which means, I live in my boots for several months. The Chloe is exactly what I wanted! They are very warm and cozy and easy to get on and off. They are easy to tighten up to go for a snowshoe, ice fishing or to go snowmobiling. I can be standing out in the snow all day watching my kids ski race events or walking across icy parking lots in comfort! I highly recommend these, just make sure you order a larger size!

I ordered a size larger than I normally wear, partially for ease getting in and out, partially to be able to wear really thick warm socks. And I'm glad I did! They feel a little big in thin socks and perfect in thick socks Soooo sooo warm! And comfy. I might worry about the size a little more if these were hiking boots, but for walking and standing in the cold they are perfect. And I love that the liner can come out easily as that adds to ease in getting them on.

10 stars! These are the warmest, most comfortable winter boots I have ever worn. I looked at nearly 50 pairs of winter boots, and even though I have always been a loyal Sorel fan, these Baffins are a new favorite! They are comfy, cozy, and totally wearable right out of the box. One caveat, however: I ordered them one half size up from my usual size because I love to wear my winter boots with heavy wool or ski socks and with pants tucked in, so I wanted the extra room. I was rather surprised that I barely had enough room even with that extra 1/2 size up, so these do run a little bit on the small side. Otherwise, they are the perfect boot and look very stylish with leggings or skinny jeans tucked in (haven't tried them under my boot-cut jeans yet).

New Jersey just got hit with another snowstorm, so it was the perfect time time to try out my new Baffin Chloe's (which by the way only took one day to get to me...thank you Zappos!). I usually wear a size 7 and 1/2 so I ordered an 8 and they were perfect. I tried the Sorel Caribou's, but those were way too wide and heavy. These Baffins are absolutely perfect - comfy, warm and great for those very early morning walks with my dog. You certainly don't have to wait for a huge snowfall to wear them, just wait for the cold.
