I live on Cape Cod and have two very big dogs that need to be taken out and run every day regardless of the weather. It requires me to hike in mixed terrain, i.e. woods, dunes, and shallow bogs; sometimes in pretty harsh elements. I have problem feet and it's always a challenge to find a boot that really works for me. I have a high instep, narrow heel, wide toe area and feet that tend to get cold very fast. I'm 64 years old so if a boot is heavy it makes the daily walks exhausting. The good news is: This boot was perfect for me in every way. It was hard to get on at first because of the ample padding (makes it snug in a great "cradle-my-foot" kind of way) and I thought I'd made a huge mistake but once I was outside hiking in the snow I was thrilled. The boots were sheer bliss and subsequent wearings made them easier to slip into. My feet have been consistently warm, dry, and very happy. The boots look heavy but are amazingly light. I just love these boots...and that never happens to my feet. Thank you Zappos, as always, for your top notch customer service. You guys rock!

I don't feel qualified to answer because feet are so unpredictable but, personally, my feet like EasySpirit boots and shoes.

These were very lightweight and the lightest of all four Baffin boots I tried. These would be great for walking around town or maybe shoveling but did not see warm enough for idle feet during ice fishing or snowmobiling

Used these boots for the first time today and they are great. Easy to put on and take off and keep feet warm and pants stay tucked in nicely. I am a 10 1/2 and got 11's they seemed a little big but not bad. A great buy for the price.

My son loved this boot and after 2 failed attempts to get him boots that he liked, finding this pair was perfect.

I bought these boots for my 13-year old son who has gone through quite a few growth spurts this year. He loves these boots. They are cushy and warm, and easy to throw on. They do run a little small, we went up a full size for him, and that worked. I put them on and liked the feel so much I bought a pair of Baffin Chloes for myself. My husband was jealous and wants a pair just like my son's, so we're waiting for Zappos to restock his size!

These came with lightning speed (two days)! They fit better than I assumed - I usually need a wide E/EE width but the D with these seems fine. What I needed for snow removal and keeping my feet warm etc, at a reasonable price.

Bought these for my large 10 year old son. He is a true city kid - not out climbing Mt. Kilamanjaro. He loves that they are so large that they make him walk in a clomping way. He is designing a centaur costume around them for next Halloween, but in the meantime, they are great for keeping his feet dry and warm when it snows. Not sleek, these boots, but a good price. Think clomp.

These boots seem like they would be incredibly warm, a plus in Wisconsin! However, on my slender framed 12 year old, they were too clunky, and all of the fill used to make them warm also made them run too small. We were in a pinch to get him boots so ended up shopping locally. I remain a Zappos fan, however!

I bought these boots for my husband for the snow season and they came just in time. After hours of shoveling snow he said they kept his feet warm and dry and they were very comfortable. He wears a 13W usually and the reg. 13 fit fine.

These boots are the best! They are warm and keep your feet dry....unless you get in the slushy stuff for an extended period of time. If that happens, then you simply pull out the inner layer and dry them next to a heater.
I consistently wear an 8.5 shoe but I have a size 10 Baffin boot so that I am able to wear a thicker sock. My youngest son wears an 8 men’s shoe and we just purchased a size 9 Baffin Tundra boot. They are a tad snug the first few times you wear them but only because they are new and the inner padding is puffy. I’ve bought multiple pairs of these boots - both for myself and for my boys as their feet grow. I won’t buy another boot.

Let me start by saying that I am a Texan looking for snow boots for an upcoming ski trip to Canada, so I had no clue. All I knew was that I wanted waterproof, warm, and comfortable, at a fair price. My search was like "Goldilocks and the Three Bears." Bogs Ultra were too big in my size 13. Switched to a size 12. Still fit awkward on the heal and I was worried about snow getting in. Great looking strong boot though. Switched to Tundra Green Bay. Fit was weird and uncomfortable on the top of my foot and the footbed/instep hurt my flat feet. Watched the long video by the owner (worth watching in its entirety) and thought "these look promising." The Baffins showed up in my size 13. Looked good; but, when I put my foot inside and I raised my arms in the air like I just scored a Super Bowl touchdown. They hug your feet and the footbed is beyond comfortable. Well thought out boot. Hot inside a house, so can already tell they are going to keep my feet warm and dry when the weather gets well dodgy. Great tread and seem tough. Really like the ability to cinch the top to keep snow or water out, and like the strap around the base to tighten around your ankle. Love the Baffin Tundra! Looking forward to testing them out in Whistler, California. Stop looking! Go for it! Oh... Kudos to Zappos for their great advice and awesome service (as usual).

Very warm and comfortable. Perfect for snowmobiling and walking to and from ski lodge. I ordered a few sizes (returned what didn't work) as I was unsure of sizing. It fit true to size for both me and my son. Overall a great boot at a good price.

I got these for my son because they were relatively inexpensive and he needed a pair of boots for a snow trip with the Boy Scouts. These boots are SERIOUS snow boots and are incredible quality for the price! They have a thick sole with a sturdy shank. The lower boot is completely waterproof rubber and the upper boot is a highly water resistant fabric. The lining has extra thick thermal insulation. The footbed is padded. The drawstring at the top keeps the snow out. He wore them for a day trip to the Sierras, but I think he could have taken an extended trip to the Arctic and been warm and dry the whole time.

The foot area felt perfect, but from the ankles up way to large. I'm a size 10 and bought a size 11 after reading reviews. I also had a size 11 snowmobile boot that I'm looking to replace. They are light and well insulted. However, the top of the boot is sized for someone with very large diameter legs, which I do not have. They will not close enough to prevent snow from getting inside, and even if I managed to pull the cord tight enough the cord would be rubbing on my leg. I'm really disappointed and will continue my search. I'm returning.
